The Nightingale Navigator supports the loved ones of male survivors through the Nightingale Project. Recognising that sexual harm can affect partners, family members and others close to a survivor, the role provides therapeutic group and community-based support, alongside psychoeducation about trauma and its wider impact. This includes helping loved ones understand the criminal justice process and working with health, social care and other partner agencies to ensure they receive coordinated support. The Navigator also brings the experiences, needs and wishes of loved ones into the continued development of the Nightingale Project.
About You
You’ll be someone who understands that sexual harm can affect not only survivors, but also their partners, family members and other people close to them. You’ll be comfortable talking about trauma and able to provide compassionate, practical and non-judgmental support through group work, community activities and partnership working. Experience of supporting loved ones, delivering workshops or working within mental health, social care, advocacy or community services would be particularly helpful. We are seeking a passionate and experienced IDVA Team Leader to join Birmingham's new Family IDVA Service. This is a part-time role, working 30 hours per week, and offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the delivery and development of an innovative city-wide service supporting parents aged 16+ and their children under 18 who are affected by domestic abuse.
Based within Birmingham's Family Hubs, the service will provide specialist, trauma-informed domestic abuse support to families at the earliest opportunity, helping to prevent escalation of harm and improve safety, resilience and wellbeing. The IDVA Team Leader will help ensure that families receive a flexible, whole-family response, with the voices and needs of both parents and children remaining central to assessment, safety planning and support.

You will line manage a team of frontline practitioners, providing supervision, coaching, case guidance and performance support, while promoting a positive, confident and resilient team culture. This will include supporting case allocation, monitoring caseloads, undertaking case reviews and audits, ensuring accurate recording on case management systems, and contributing to performance reporting against service standards, contractual requirements and KPIs. You will use data, quality assurance and learning from practice to help identify trends, strengthen service delivery and support continuous improvement.

About the role:
The Fleet Administrator will form a vital part of the Finance and Operations Team supporting the Operations Manager in the management of the Rainbow Trust fleet. Rainbow Trust operates a fleet of approximately seventy vehicles situated across our nine regional teams. It is vitally important that our Family Support Workers have a reliable vehicle for attending family visits and transporting families to hospital. In addition, the Fleet Administrator will be required to assist the Operations Manager with ad-hoc tasks/projects according to the workload.
Full training will be provided and previous experience of managing a fleet is not required, although is desirable. A good level of maths, excellent communication, planning and Microsoft Excel skills are required to be successful in this role.
This is an excellent opportunity to maintain a breadth of fleet administrator experience with increased responsibility.

Alongside supporting the day-to-day realities of a complex frontline charity, we are leading a broad programme of improvement and transformation across people systems, workforce planning, leadership capability, employee experience, organisational development and service delivery.
About the Role
This is a varied, hands-on role for someone who enjoys being at the heart of a busy People function: providing pragmatic advice to managers, helping to resolve employee relations issues early and effectively, and making sure the people processes behind the scenes run smoothly and consistently.
You’ll be a key first point of contact for managers dealing with people matters, providing advice across areas including performance, probation, absence and wellbeing, conduct, disciplinary matters and flexible working.
You’ll help managers navigate issues confidently and proportionately, coaching them to build their own capability while recognising when more complex matters need to be escalated.
You will also play an important role in the day-to-day running of our People operations. You’ll oversee the quality and accuracy of contractual documentation, help ensure our HR systems and processes work effectively, and work closely with our People & Culture Coordinators to provide a responsive and efficient service to colleagues.
About You
You’ll ideally bring:
• CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience
• Strong experience providing HR advice and managing employee relations casework
• Good working knowledge of UK employment law
• Experience of performance, absence, conduct and grievance matters
• Confidence reviewing contracts and other employment documentation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A proactive, organised approach and the ability to manage multiple priorities at once.
Experience within a charity, public sector or other values-led organisation would be an advantage, as would experience supporting organisational change or transformation.
Additional Information
This is a hybrid job role. The postholder will work a minimum of two days per week at our Head Office and the remainder remote working.
