Working with agencies, including a digital mobilisation agency, The Senior Individual Giving Officer will be responsible for leading growing our individual donor and supporter base and delivering an excellent supporter experience.
You’ll need to be a digital native with experience in building digital-focused approached to supporter acquisition and development.

The Preclinical Research Manager will be responsible for overseeing the generation of research related content for the CP research team and interacting with the research community to provide support and advice in their projects.
The Main Purpose of the Role:
The Preclinical Research Manager will be responsible for overseeing the generation of research related content for the CP research team and interacting with the research community to provide support and advice in their projects (either being considered or funded by the charity).
Key Responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Director of Research whose main responsibility is the implementation and delivery of the Cure Parkinson’s research strategy.
- Generating Parkinson’s research-related material for a scientific audience, including:
- Research reports for publication in scientific journals (such as our annual Drug Development Pipeline report – McFarthing et al, 2023).
- Long format scientific justifications for CP funded clinical trials for the CP website.
- Short format lay summaries of new research (with the Research Liaison and Research Communication Officers) for various CP platforms.
- Preparation of posters of CP research for presentation at conferences (with the Research Comms Officer).
- Facilitating the Research Liaison Officer’s development within this area.
- Regular monitoring of publications and developments in Parkinson’s research, communicating these topics internally to help generate relevant material for the CP website (with the Research Comms Officer and Marketing team).
- Supporting the Director of Research with the scoping, drafting and shaping of drug dossiers for consideration at the annual international Linked Clinical Trials (iLCT) meeting.
- Working with the Director of Research and the Research Manager to develop and coordinate the annual iLCT Pipeline Research Acceleration Funding Programme call.
- Working with the Director of Research and the Research Manager to scope and develop a researcher portal for sharing non-confidential iLCT material.
- Leading on the development of scientific events, workshops and meetings (such as CP’s quarterly webinar series with the Journal of Parkinson’s Disease).
Person Specifications:
The successful applicant will need to work closely with other sections of the charity to understand and support the research needs of the organisation as a whole. For their primary function, they will ideally have:
- A PhD with experience in preclinical research related to Parkinson’s or neurodegeneration.
- A strong understanding of Parkinson’s disease biology and the current preclinical models (in vitro and in vivo) used to investigate it.
- Knowledge of the broader Parkinson’s research field, such as genetics, potential therapeutic targets and drugs currently in development.
- Significant experience in the management and leadership of group projects.
- Experience in the setting up and management of meeting and events.
- Excellent communication skills with experience in presenting at both academic meetings and to general audiences, across in-person and virtual formats.
- Solid problem solving skills across varied settings.
- Experience of line management or equivalent.
- High motivation and willingness to embrace change.
- Willingness to travel overnight for some external meetings, occasionally internationally.
For success, the Research Team must be closely aligned and interact fully with all other teams at CP.

Job Purpose:
The Project Development Manager will be the main point of contact for the collaboration. About the role
Sense has a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our Engagement team as our Legacy Fundraising Officer. This is a full time position working 37.5 hours per week. This role will working flexibly between home and our office in King's Cross, London.
Over a third of Sense’s voluntary income comes from gifts in Wills. What the job involves
This is an exciting opportunity to join our vibrant Brand and Media (Attention) team within our wider Communications directorate. As the Media and Communications Manager, you’ll be the team’s lead on Health Services, Equity and Improvement (including policy and campaigns) and Research communications, delivering impactful media moments which inspire action and drive positive change for men with, or at risk of, prostate cancer.
You’ll raise the profile of the cause and the brand, co-managing the activity of the charity’s media relations function and protecting the organisation’s principles and reputation. You’ll also be acting as line manager to the Senior Media and Communications Officer.
What we want from you

As Research Involvement Lead, you’ll be responsible for leading a programme of patient and public involvement in research, a core component of our charity wide involvement strategy.

Job Title: Junior Graphic Designer
Hours: Full Time – 35 hours per week
Reports to: Designer
Salary: £25–28K (dependent on experience)
This is your chance to join a national charity committed to improving the outcomes of all children by advocating for and telling the stories of parents and parent volunteers. Parentkind has begun an exciting new chapter delivering new products and campaigns, and we are looking for high-performing team players to join our fun and friendly marketing team.
Main purpose and scope of the role:
To support and work in collaboration with our lead designer at Parentkind to:
- Develop, implement and maintain a new brand for Parentkind
- Create best-in-class design of print and digital assets, including magazines, guides, videos, website, campaign and social media assets
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders providing creative and innovative design support for Parentkind projects
Duties and key responsibilities:
Under the guidance of the Lead Designer at Parentkind
1.Design:
- Champion the Parentkind brand across all designed assets and activities to ensure brand integrity and consistency
- Design assets which will include but are not limited to; print and digital magazines, guides, social assets, email designs, web assets, video content and PowerPoint templates
- Contribute creatively to large campaigns and activities ensuring that we are delivering best in-class and impactful design, that effectively represents and promotes our vision
- Conduct thorough quality checks on deliverables to ensure accuracy
2.Project management:
- Lead on the delivery of design activity such as guides, social and email campaigns, ensuring that design work is delivered to time and allows for revisions, sign-off and launch deadlines
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise effectively
- Assist in managing and organising design assets, including image libraries, templates and project files
3.Collaboration:
- Work with the lead designer at Parentkind to support on projects, refine design outputs and deliver work within the Parentkind brand and to deadlines
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that design work meets the objectives of the relevant projects and is done so within the Parentkind brand
4.Continuous learning:
- Work with others across the organisation as well as independently to understand our key audiences so that the work delivered is audience-focussed
- Stay informed of the latest design trends, technologies and best practises so that Parentkind’s work is forward-thinking and impactful
General Responsibilities

The Role
Are you a creative and dynamic individual with a passion for online communications? Not A Phase is looking for an Online Communications Manager to join our team. This full-time, remote position offers flexible hours and the chance to make a real impact. You'll be crafting and managing engaging content for our social media channels, creating and editing eye-catching videos, and building a strong online community. We're dedicated to uplifting the lives of trans+ adults across the UK, and we need someone who shares that commitment. Job Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Develop engaging and original content for our social media platforms, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
- Social Media Management: Oversee and manage our social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok), ensuring regular posting, audience engagement, and growth.
- Video Production: Create and edit video content for various platforms, including Instagram Reels and TikTok.
- Community Engagement: Engage with our online community, responding to comments and messages, and fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
- Campaign Development: Plan and execute online campaigns to raise awareness and support for our projects and initiatives.
- Analytics: Monitor and report on social media metrics to track the success of campaigns and content, and adjust strategies as needed.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to align online communications with overall organizational goals and strategies.
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in online communications, social media management, or a related field.
- Strong graphic design skills and proficiency in tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
- Video production and editing skills, with the ability to create compelling video social mediacontent.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with the latest trends in social media and digital marketing.
- Experience working within the charity sector is a plus but not essential.
- A deep understanding of and commitment to trans and LGBTQ+ issues.

We are currently seeking a fixed term Grants Impact and Evaluation specialist to provide technical monitoring, evaluation, and learning knowledge to the Grants and Programmes Team and Battersea grantees. In this role, you will support the Impact and Evaluation Lead in the design and delivery of Battersea’s approach to impact and evaluation.
This role will be based within Insight and Impact but work closely with Battersea’s Global Programmes Team. The role will be the key point of knowledge and technical support for Grants Managers in ensuring that all potential and awarded grants have an agreed monitoring and evaluation approach, and that portfolio-wide learning can be gathered and applied by Battersea and grantees.
