As Energy Adviser, you will provide a multi-channel advice service, including home visits, to fuel poor and vulnerable consumers who are struggling to pay their bills or require better deals on energy. That advice will include:

About the Role
Advice Giving
- Deliver a multi-channel advice service, including home visits, to clients regarding their energy needs and income maximisation support, ensuring advice provided meets the requirements of Citizens Advice quality standards.
- Ensure all case recording and other record keeping is completed within agreed timescales and conforms to the Office Manual and the Advice Quality Standards
- Use sensitive listening and questioning skills in order to allow clients to explain their problem(s) and to identify the next course of action.
- Use a range of information sources to find relevant information, then interpret and communicate this to clients, enabling them to tackle fuel poverty and financial hardship for the long-term.

NDAS provides support to all victims who have been the subject of domestic abuse/violence, supports them through the criminal justice system and offers relevant advice and assistance, both practical and emotional.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To provide practical and emotional support to victims of domestic abuse/violence; including supporting them through the criminal justice system and providing guidance and assistance. The role also involves empowering victims to make decisions, increase their options, their confidence and safety.
DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing service delivery and performance
Provide an efficient, effective outreach service to all victims of domestic abuse/violence across Northumberland.
Establish the risks and the needs of the individual and deliver a service appropriate to that level of risk.
Develop and deliver individual support and risk management plans to address the risk of harm to victims.
Work with multi-agency partnerships with local agencies whose services victims may require, ensuring a coordinated community response.
Work in partnership with other agencies and to advocate for victims to ensure their needs are met.
Explain the intricacies of the criminal justice and family court systems to victims and give advice on how to proceed at different stages of the process.
Ensure that victims are aware of their rights to legal protection and to arrange for the provision of legal advice as required and accompany victims to appointments if appropriate.
Ensure the safety of the victim is paramount.
Attend MARAC meetings when needed, Case Conference, Core Groups and CAF meetings when required.
Liaise with other agencies as appropriate. Deliver training to colleagues and other professionals.

Provide statistical monitoring or reports as required to the planning officer.

The Diocese of Coventry represents the Church of England in Coventry and Warwickshire. With a network of 200 parishes, there is a Christian presence in every local community. The Coventry Diocesan Board of Finance Ltd (DBF) manages the financial affairs and hold the assets of the Diocese and its associated entities as well as managing activities to serve and equip these parishes through various activities and projects.
The Finance & Governance team handle all matters concerning Diocesan and Cathedral finance including the administration and collection of parish share, paying invoices and expenses, budgeting, annual statutory, management accounts, clergy stipends, staff salaries, advice to parishes on parochial finance matters.
This role covers the full range of work in an accounting system dealing with input to and output from all ledgers with specific responsibility for the administration of parish shares and fees including the issuing of regular statements to parishes. Youth Engagement Officer
Location: Hybrid. Expected to be in our London office in Victoria at least one day per week. You can be remote every other day or come into the office. Your office days are flexible and can be agreed with your manager, other than for monthly team days where you must be in person. Some nationwide travel expected for Youth Steering Group training days, events and conferences. After passing probation, up to six weeks ‘super remote’ working per year, where you can work anywhere in the world as long as you’re online for four hours of the UK workday.

Our Youth Steering Group design and run the annual Fair Education Youth Summit. The event is led by young people for young people and brings together young changemakers from across our membership and the wider education and youth sectors to develop their youth leadership skills, collaborate on campaigns, and engage directly with decision makers. You will support the young people to design sessions, secure speakers, embed past feedback and plan the event structure. You will also support with the event logistics, guestlist management, participant communications and collecting attendee feedback.

Our Youth Engagement Working Group supports FEA members and other sector organsiations to increase and improve their own youth engagement practice. You will support the management of logistics, promote the workshops, and communicate with working group members. You will also support the facilitation of the workshops and ensure the attendee data and feedback is correctly logged and actioned. The critical responsibilities of this role are described above. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
