Job description

We are looking for a Marketing and Comms Manager to help increase our impact for people of all ages with dyslexia.

Working across digital and print channels, this role will play an important part in our growth and development as we enter a new phase and create a new strategy to support more people with dyslexia to achieve their full potential.

This role will work closely with many teams across the charity to actively manage our marketing communications and supporting our Head of Conference and Events in maximising income generation opportunities. This role requires strong team working skills as well as the confidence to manage exciting new brand, marketing and communication projects.

About you

You will have experience of developing a range of engaging marketing content across website, social media and print and will be able to present to us a portfolio of previous work to demonstrate your creativity and achievements. You will be up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement, and be able to write great copy and update social media channels, creating content to share the impact of our work, as well as helping to promote outreach and other events and activities. You will demonstrate excellent communication skills and organisational skills with strong evidence of your ability to prioritise whilst being flexible enough to manage changing demands. You will demonstrate effective team working by positively contributing ideas and solutions, sharing your knowledge and skills and building good relationships with colleagues across the organisation.

You will not necessarily need previous knowledge or experience of dyslexia and its impact, but you will be a fast learner and quickly become passionate about our goals.
