In 2022, we transitioned from a single therapy option to a whole family, community-based model which provides a more accessible and comprehensive approach to support, whilst reducing wait times by 63%. Though we deliver a local service, our work is influencing the national response to child sexual abuse. We provide national training on pre-trial therapy and survivor-led leadership programmes.

Purpose of the job
The Green House’s VOICE change-making project aims to support young survivors and their family members to lead social change through creativity. Together, we aim to break the silence and create systemic change around child sexual abuse. Our approach recognises the inherent strengths and possibility of all young people. We develop creative spaces where young people can connect with their community, grow beyond traumatic experiences and learn to lead services like ours, alongside national social change. We see creative change-making and connecting those with lived experience together as imperative to healing. It is the hope for change that helps young people and their families to learn to live a whole life alongside traumatic experiences and step into their potential.
The VOICE Project has two workstreams: Young People’s VOICE and Parent/Carer VOICE. We work with young people to deliver a creative arts leadership programme (6 weekly group), alongside creative drop-in spaces, individual projects and paid-for mentorship opportunities. We work with our Parent/Carer VOICE group to deliver monthly group sessions, parent-led drop-in spaces and individual projects. The VOICE Project also leads our national child sexual abuse (CSA) practitioner network.
This is an exciting time to join the Green House VOICE Project, we have just secured national funding for the first time and are looking for a VOICE Practitioner to work alongside our new Senior VOICE Practitioner to deliver development and expansion of the programme. Duties and responsibilities 1. Work with the Senior VOICE Practitioner to deliver the Young People’s VOICE Groups (6 weekly), working with to support young people to develop group/individual projects and campaigns within each group cycle. 2. Work with the Senior VOICE Practitioner to support development of the Parent/Carer VOICE group, co-producing with Parents/Carers and the Senior Leadership Team a new approach to the (currently) monthly programme. 3. Collaborate with the Family Support Team and Therapy Team to deliver regular drop-in spaces for Parents/Carers (“Turn-Up Tuesdays”) and Nature-Based Therapy drop-in spaces (“NBT Drop In”). 4. Work with the Senior VOICE Practitioner to support delivery and expansion of CSA Practitioner network for wider professionals, creating opportunities to connect young people’s groups together nationally. 5. Work with the Senior VOICE Practitioner, Head of Fundraising and Trustee Board to develop and deliver a quarterly co-production group of young people and parents who can support operational delivery/development of the Green House. 6. Contribute to the development of a theory of change for the VOICE Project, working with the Senior VOICE Practitioner, young people, parents/carers and Senior Leadership Team. 7. Work with the Research Manager and Senior VOICE Practitioner to deliver our approach to outcome monitoring and evaluation of the VOICE Project. 8. Ensure that delivery is timely and in-line with the project plan for the VOICE Project, including attendance at weekly team meetings, and contributing to the annual revision of associated documentation e.g., manuals, session plans led by the Senior VOICE Practitioner. 9. Conduct Initial Meetings for young people and parent/carer’s looking to join the VOICE Project – supporting the wider TGH team with recruitment reminders/approaches e.g., attending Family Support/Therapy Team meetings (where appropriate). 10. Work with the Senior VOICE Practitioner to develop relationships with our local and national partners to enable effective change-making for young people and parents/carers. 11. Assess risk and report safeguarding concerns in line with the Green House Policies, main up-to-date safeguarding training, and stay informed on relevant legislation about child sexual abuse and procedures. 12. Maintain accurate, confidential records of all sessions and family contacts, ensuring timely documentation using internal systems e.g., Oasis. 13. Support wider Green House service development, participate in supervision, clinical supervision and training, adhere to Green House policies, and contribute to team communication and operational improvements.

Job Purpose:
Pivot (Home from Hospital)
Pivot (Home from Hospital) is delivered as part of the Pembrokeshire Integrated Assisted Discharge Partnership commissioned by the Hywel Dda University Health Board. The service aims to support people’s discharge from the hospital and prevent unnecessary readmittance. It also supports people to either remain in or return to their own homes, where evidence shows they are most likely to make the best recovery and retain their independence for longer.
As part of the wider partnership, Volunteering Matters recruits and places volunteers to provide short-term practical support to individuals in their homes, for example, providing help with shopping, light cleaning, or befriending, etc., and we are now looking for a dynamic Engagement Manager to join our local team. The role will involve recruiting, onboarding and supporting a local bank of volunteers, whilst managing referrals into the scheme, having ‘What Matters’ conversations with service users and coordinating a matching process so that people get the timely help they need. The right candidate will be someone who can work flexibly and demonstrates an understanding and commitment to our organisational values.
Please note: this role may require occasional Saturday mornings.
Key Duties:
1. Recruit, interview, induct, train and support volunteers.
2. Work closely with the Pivot team and wider partnership to manage referrals into the project, updating on progress and plans in the process.
3. Engage with service users to conduct a “What Matters” conversation and develop individual support plans
4. Management of the matching/placement of volunteers, and monitoring and supporting the match throughout.
5. Maintain good record keeping, ensuring that evidence and impact data is collected so that we can monitor progress against outcomes

Main Responsibilities
Account Management and Stewardship
- Confidently manage a portfolio of existing corporate supporters who, together, make a significant difference to the lives of grieving children.

- Ensure all supporter records are accurate, compliant, and up-to-date on our database, and document all corporate engagement activity.
- Execute and adapt bespoke campaigns.

Reporting to the CEO, we are seeking a Senior Income Generation Manager to be an essential lead across all areas of the Trust’s income streams, with a focus on developing our current corporate partnerships, explore and build new potential partnerships and maximise our fundraising potential through a private event, fundraising challenge, individual giving and fostering new ideas alongside the events calendar. Managing the income generation team, you will seek to maximise value from opportunities across the organisation and ensure that fundraising is consistent with the charity’s broader goals.
You will be an inspiring, collaborative manager who seeks out opportunities whilst supporting your team to succeed and achieve their potential. You will have a proven track record of designing, delivering and achieving ambitious income growth strategies, including demonstrable experience securing five and six-figure value partnerships, including multiyear, through philanthropy and corporate support, as well as an overall understanding of our wider key income streams, Grants & Trusts, Statutory, Education, Health and Corporate Personal Development & Employee Wellbeing products and services.

Key Areas of work
- Drive the delivery of our fundraising strategy, alongside the CEO, Board and Income Generation Committee to realise our fundraising ambitions of circa £1mil this FY.
- Responsible for the income generation team, developing the income strategies and raising both unrestricted and restricted income from corporate partnerships, fundraising events and challenges, charitable trusts, statutory bodies, the health sector and educational establishments.
- To seek out and maximise opportunities within our current areas of work, including the ongoing development of increasing our presence and impact at a local ‘hub’ level.

Role Purpose:
The Social Change Nest is going through a very exciting growth period and since our Head of Development is going on maternity leave for 4 months from September we are looking for somebody who can join our growing team as soon as possible. The Senior Development Manager will contribute to our FY25/26 income targets and cover part of the functions of the Head of Development while she’s on leave. The Head of Development manages the Development team, which covers the business development, marketing and communications functions, and works with the CEO to ensure that the organisation grows in a strategic and balanced way.
The Social Change Nest is onboarding and supporting hundreds of new groups every year and we are working closely with funders across the UK and worldwide, helping them move large amounts of funding to unincorporated movements at the frontlines of social change. We are spending more time than ever raising awareness on how capital flows impact the ability of communities to create change, and how we can hack the system to enable more money to flow in an equitable way to unincorporated movements.
We are looking for somebody who is excited about all this and ready to hit the ground running. We are in the middle of a large capital raise, so we would like the ideal candidate to join the team as soon as possible to work closely with the Head of Development and the CEO, as well as the rest of the Development team, for 3 months, before the Head of Development goes on maternity leave. The IT Systems & Security Manager will play a pivotal role in supporting the IT strategy and operational plans which supports the charity’s vision, mission and objectives.
This role will be responsible for ensuring that all IT services are successfully delivered across the charity by defining, creating and maintaining the IT environment including; the management of all technical systems, system upgrades, interfaces and customisations, infrastructure, applications, security and IT governance. In addition, this role will identify opportunities to ensure the technology, systems and tools used are fully integrated and embedded throughout the charity, with a view to maximising performance, optimising efficiency and creating a sustainable platform for future growth.
Main duties and responsibilities of the role:
Final point of escalation, extensive troubleshooting, provide guidance to IT Team
· Complete comprehensive troubleshooting of escalated tickets raised with the IT Department
· Document troubleshooting steps and progress and/or call closure details within the ticketing system
· Feedback to wider team on ticket trends or common issues occurring including potential security threats
· Line management of Systems Administrator
Administer ARUK Network
· Manage Day to day interactions with Manage Network MSP
· Management, administration and monitoring of ARUK Virtual IT environment
· Management, administration of Azure tenancy and Office 365
· Management, administration and monitoring of backups
· Provide support and guidance to Systems Administrator
Working on IT Projects
· Working on projects of differing complexity, from initial requirement gathering, planning, implementation, rollout and testing
· Provide regular feedback on project progress to stakeholders and Head of IT
· Assist Systems Administrator in their project work and complete any delegated tasks
Security
· Keep up to date with IT industry development and current security developments
· Manage day to day interaction with outsources Security Operations as a Service MSP
· Work with MSP to make recommendations to IT Management to improve security posture
What we are looking for:
· Relevant formal qualifications or relevant experience
· Extensive Knowledge and proven experience of managing the following - Windows operating systems, Microsoft SQL server, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Server, IT support principles, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, Mobile Device Management, Networks, System storage, IT documentation
· Extensive knowledge and awareness of: IT Security best practices, IT security solutions, IT security threats
· Exemplary leadership skills with both practical and short/long term strategic vision; ability to build relationships and inspire confidence and respect at all levels; strong team player
· Excellent communicator – able to build rapport and demonstrate strong influencing, negotiation skills and decision-making skills; excellent listening skills - receptive to feedback and demonstrates flexibility, curiosity and an ability to learn
· Ability to explain complex IT information to all stakeholders
· Demonstrates and encourages ownership and responsibility; drive/motivation - has a “can-do” attitude and is committed to delivering results and strives for continuous improvement
· A good blend of strategic and analytical thinking; innovative personality; able to see the bigger picture and set future direction
· Strong ethical standards and a high level of personal integrity
Additional Information:
Ways of working: As part of our Agile ways of working you will be required to work approximately 2 days a week from the office, which is subject to the requirements of the role and the business needs. Flexibility on where you work can be split between working from home and our office.
Roles that are classed as part of the Agile ways of working are not able to claim any costs for Mileage/Travel on Public Transport, Accommodation and/or Meals. This includes when attending the office for various meetings/events.
Our Office: Our office is at 3 Riverside, Granta Park, Great Abington, Cambridge, CB21 6AD.
Salary: Circa £45,000 per annum, plus benefits
