We are looking for a highly organised self-starter who is passionate about our mission. You will join our brilliant Force Partnerships team who are responsible for developing Police Now’s relationship with stakeholders across the UK policing and implementing our programmes in collaboration with forces. You will support our work to get partnership contracts so that we can place our officers in police forces across the country. You will organise events and opportunities for senior individuals within policing to come and see the work we do, visit our academies and meet our participants.

The role will be a mixture of organising events, project management, administration, research and relationship building. You will ensure meetings with our external partners are well prepared for and will undertake various projects and administration tasks to allow us, as a team, to develop positive and lasting partnerships. This is a highly varied role which will give you the opportunity to work across the whole of Police Now. As such we are looking for a quick learner and someone who is as determined as we are to see the Police Now mission succeed.

What you’ll do – the key responsibilities

• Coordinate the planning and delivery of our partnership events including our Academy Visitor Days, as well as designing and implementing new stakeholder engagement initiatives based on previous stakeholder feedback.
• Support with, and at times lead the production of documents and communications for internal and external audiences, for example event invites, guest lists, handbooks, letter templates and agendas. This will include producing reports which use data to demonstrate the impact of our programmes to forces.
• Support with our sales campaign and contracting work through regular reporting, maintaining accurate records and providing updates to senior leadership and relevant internal stakeholders. This may include identifying opportunities for Police Now colleagues to attend sector events to have the greatest possible impact on policing in England & Wales.
• Collaborate with colleagues from across Police Now to support a strong customer experience for Police Now’s partner forces; for example, attending cross-departmental meetings and through developing Police Now’s use of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Salesforce.
• Provide wider administrative support to the Force Partnerships team. This includes but is not limited to; preparing and printing event documentation, record-keeping, team inbox monitoring, room bookings, research into current and future force partners and booking and taking minutes for both internal and external meetings.

Frequent travel to the London office (2-3 days a week), along with regular travel to events and forces nationally will be required for this role.

Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Community Fund, the PTN is recruiting a Partnerships Manager who will provide management and oversight of key partnerships essential to the delivery of the Network’s Strategic Plan, with a specific focus on the development and delivery of Regional Hubs.

You will have experience of establishing and delivering partnerships; dedicated to social justice; a commitment to collaborative working; and proven management experience.

Key Tasks

• To form part of the Core Leadership Team, providing overall strategic leadership across the Network 
• To manage the Partnership team, setting clear goals and objectives linked to the Strategic Plan 
• To lead on the development and support of Regional Hubs, including support with grant funding and income generation
• To act as the primary point of contact with Regional Hubs, for initial enquiries and ongoing relationships, including with staff and trustees
• To provide oversight of the Network’s Parliamentary work in Westminster and across the devolved administrations
• To oversee the Network’s Learning & Evaluation framework, offering insight and advice as appropriate, ensuring that agreed activities are delivered on time and in budget 
• To be the primary point of contact for partners working alongside the Network to deliver change in line with its Strategic Plan
• To recruit external partners to participate in the Mutual Mentoring programme
• To liaise closely with members of the Amplify Team in the development of national partnerships
• To develop and support work with creative partners to highlight the resilience of those struggling to overcome poverty
• To deputise for the Director as and when required
• To undertake other activities as needed dependent on jobholder’s knowledge, skills and experience

This role involves working from home with some travel.

About the role 

As a Future Frontiers Partnerships Manager, your role is to identify, develop and maintain mutually beneficial partnerships with organisations which work with us to enable our mission. This is key to delivering our work and making a lasting difference for young people from under-resourced backgrounds on their education and career journeys. 

The focus of the role is on building meaningful, long-term relationships with schools and/or businesses, to match young people from socio-economically disadvantaged backgrounds with business professionals who can provide insight into the world of work and guidance to help young people unlock their aspirations and develop the plans and skills they need to be successful. 

Our Partnerships Managers each have a focus on a priority audience, either schools or businesses, and on an activity area, either new business development or account management. The role we are currently recruiting for will have a main focus on driving new business from companies. 

Your responsibilities

The focus of each role could expand or change depending on the needs of the organisation. Current priorities and targets are reflected in each individual’s objectives for the year - these are regularly reviewed to ensure that they remain relevant and create ownership and stretch for each individual. 

Core responsibilities across the Partnership Development and Partnership Management teams include: 

Securing new partnerships

• Identify potential partners for Future Frontiers, focussing on organisations where there is synergy with Future Frontiers and/or where we can address a clear need for them

• Engage with potential partners through the most suitable channel (email, LinkedIn, phone/video call or in person) to understand their priorities and identify how Future Frontiers can meet their needs

• Deliver targeted campaigns and pitches of the most appropriate product(s) / way(s) to engage; handle objections and negotiate terms to help Future Frontiers to achieve income and impact targets and support more young people to achieve their potential 

Maintain relationships; renew and grow partnerships

• Nurture relationships with existing partners, working with colleagues across Future Frontiers to ensure smooth delivery and an exceptional partner experience

• Explore opportunities to grow partnerships through working together in different ways and/or extending involvement to more pupils or colleagues

• Regularly request feedback and respond to suggestions from partners, helping them to feed involved and engaged with Future Frontiers’ work and development 

• Maintain professional and timely communications with partners, following up on actions and delivering on commitments

Set up and enable successful partnership working

• Work with key contacts to agree objectives, responsibilities and deadlines. Maintain accurate records of partnership activities and conversation, ensuring that the Salesforce database is kept up to date

• Support partners with messaging and resources for internal and external communications, to enable them to build Future Frontiers into their organisations 

• Coordinate with Future Frontiers colleagues to ensure that activities involving partners are well-run and that everyone is clear on their role in delivering successful interventions for young people

Stakeholder engagement, marketing and communications

• Use templates to create materials and communications to your audiences which align with Future Frontiers’ brand and convery core messaging 

• Ensure that the partners you manage are engaged with relevant stakeholder communications, including events, newsletters and social media

• Proactively identify suitable content (or opportunities to develop content) from your partners to share in Future Frontiers’ marketing and communications, enabling us to build the charity’s brand and engage new audiences 

Wider contribution

• Contribute to department-, directorate- and organisation-wide projects and priorities through membership of project groups or taking on pieces of work in line with your skills, experience and development objectives

• Act as an ambassador for Future Frontiers, our cause and values in all engagements and communications with partners, supporters and suppliers

About you

Experience and knowledge  

• Experience in a fundraising, sales or account management role, ideally working with businesses and/or schools (essential)

The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Partnerships Manager to join our small and dynamic team. This new role will support the Head of Partnerships and wider WFN team in delivering our fundraising strategy, stewarding high-value donor relationships, and unlocking new opportunities for income growth. 

The Partnerships Manager will work directly with some of WFN’s existing portfolio of 30 Major Donors made up primarily of Trusts, Family Foundations and High-Net-Worth Individual (HNWI) supporters, with some Corporates. The Corporate Partnerships team have an amazing opportunity for a Corporate Partnerships Manager to collaborate on one of the sector’s largest corporate partnerships, valued at approximately £4 million annually. This role offers the chance to lead on commercial activities, build strong relationships, coordinate events and contribute to overall income generation.

About CoppaFeel!

CoppaFeel! are the UK’s only youth focused breast cancer awareness charity, and we’re on a mission to get every 18-24 year old checking their chest. We educate people on the signs of breast cancer and encourage them to check their chests monthly, so that if they notice something unusual they are empowered to contact their GP and advocate for themselves.

We do this because when diagnosed early, breast cancer treatments are more effective and survival rates are higher. Early detection can save lives.

Breast cancer does not need to be detected late, and as long as we are here and continue to be supported by people like you, we will do all we can to make sure this doesn’t continue to happen.

The Role

CoppaFeel! is looking for a Corporate Partnerships Executive to play an essential role in our Partnerships Team. This role is responsible for stewarding a portfolio of our ‘proudly supporting’ partnerships and supporting the Partnerships Team at CoppaFeel! to steward some of our most dedicated corporate partners. You will also be key as the first point of contact when enquiries arrive from our website or our corporate inbox and you will manage the stewardship and donor journey of these leads.

The Corporate Partnerships Executive will sit within the Partnerships Team as part of the Fundraising Directorate, and will work closely with the Corporate Partnerships Managers and the Senior Corporate Partnership Manager. This role will support the team with administration; such as sending invoices, writing thank you letters, sending out fundraising materials, and much more. This role also will be required to attend fundraising and partnership events to represent CoppaFeel!.

This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that you will attend the London office 2 days per week. You will be required to attend the office for quarterly team meetings, department meetings and in person training, we will provide plenty of notice for when you are required to be in for these purposes.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure all corporate enquiries receive timely acknowledgement and communication, putting donors on the right supporter journey
• Account manage some of our smaller partnerships throughout the year, and particularly during Breast Cancer Awareness Month
• Support the day-to-day administration of the partnerships team across both account management and new business workstreams
• Assist with delivery of our two largest partnerships as needed, Asda Tickled Pink and Avon
• Lead on stewardship of workplace fundraisers and corporate JustGiving pages
• Support with copy-writing and content creation for internal and external communications channels including website content, social media posts, e-newsletters, blog posts and content for partner channels
• Coordinate fulfilment of fundraising materials requested by partners and supporters
• Support with researching and completing due diligence on partners and prospects
• Support on writing, reviewing and developing proposals and pitches
• Source raffle prizes and gift-in-kind for partnership events
• Work with the Finance Assistant to keep accurate up-to-date income records for partnerships
• Attend partnership events and wider fundraising events representing CoppaFeel! and sometimes working out of office hours (TOIL given)
