Location: East of the UK (this includes North East London, into broader regions of East Anglia. This role may suit someone living in or close to Postcodes NR, IP, CB, CO, CM, SS and North East London).

TLG Volunteer Programmes are available for churches who have a heart for the struggling children and families in their communities. For Early Intervention (EI), we train, equip and support volunteers to coach children for an hour a week in school. For Make Lunch (ML), we train and support volunteers to provide nutritious meals and activities during the school holidays.

The TLG Regional Leader role offers a unique opportunity to manage a cluster of EI Centres and ML clubs within the Eastern areas of the UK (including North East London, into broader regions of East Anglia). The ideal candidate will be a very organised, strong relationship builder with a vibrant Christian faith.

This key role involves training, leading and supporting new and established TLG EI and ML Programmes, working mainly with the Volunteer Coordinators who are leading their team of volunteers. The Regional Leader will be required to support progress against set key performance indicators to ensure the best possible support is given for thriving programmes.

TLG is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and their families and expects all staff including volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check. The role will require you to travel. You will also be expected to attend events & meetings during the year as required along with visits to National Support.

We would welcome applications from candidates from diverse backgrounds to enable us to better reflect the needs of the communities we serve.
