Job description

Plan International UK is a global children’s charity. We strive to advance children’s rights and equality for girls all over the world.

Working together with children, young people, our supporters and partners, we're tackling the root causes of gender inequality and child poverty, and we are now active in more than 70 countries worldwide.

We are looking for an experienced administrator with great customer care skills to join our Sponsorship Operations team within the Individual Giving Unit at Plan International UK.

In this role, you will provide support with the end to end delivery of the child sponsorship process workflow, from caseload planning through to graduations. You’ll use our database to input accurate information held on children available for sponsorship or already sponsored and you’ll ensure that all information and records are accurate and stored in line with Data Protection regulations.

We are looking for someone who has experience of working in a busy supporter/customer care role, who can demonstrate a good understanding of processes and systems and is keen to find ways to become more effective and efficient. You will be comfortable working proactively and autonomously and will take pride in producing high quality work. You’ll also enjoy working collaboratively with Sponsorship Operations and Supporter Engagement colleagues to enhance the service we give to our supporters.

Please click on the button below to apply.

The deadline for applications is 9:00am on 10 December 2021

Interviews will take place on Wednesday 15 December 2021

We are committed to the safeguarding and protection of children, young people and adults in our work.  We, therefore, apply rigorous recruitment and selection processes to ensure that only those who are suitable are recruited to work for us.

Accordingly, appointment to all our roles is subject to a range of vetting checks including a basic DBS check. A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working for us; this will depend on the circumstances of any offences

Plan International UK is committed to being an inclusive employer and we welcome applications from candidates from all backgrounds.
