About the role:
At the heart of Camden’s mission to end rough sleeping, we are recruiting a Project Worker in our short-stay accommodation service in Gray’s Inn Road.
Gray’s Inn Road provides short-stay accommodation for 16 people, usually for three to six months. Funded by the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities and the Greater London Authority, and delivered in partnership with One Housing Group and Camden Council, the service offers focused, trauma-informed support for people facing overlapping challenges including homelessness, poor physical and mental health, substance use, trauma and contact with the criminal justice system. As a Project Worker, you’ll hold a caseload, complete in-depth assessments, build tailored support plans and work alongside each person to develop practical life skills, confidence and clear pathways into longer-term housing and independence.
You’ll work in a psychologically informed and trauma-aware environment, alongside partners including Camden Routes off the Streets, Inroads, Connect Forward and the Adult Pathway. You’ll also contribute to the safe and effective running of the service, while being supported through reflective practice, high-quality training and clear development opportunities. Most importantly, you’ll be part of a team that believes rough sleeping should be rare, brief and not repeated, and that every person deserves the chance to move forward with confidence and hope.

- You build trust quickly and support people facing multiple disadvantage to set goals, take control and move forward at their own pace
- You stay calm under pressure and respond confidently to crisis, making safe, thoughtful decisions in complex situations
- You understand how to maximise income and financial stability, helping clients navigate benefits, rent and budgeting
- You work with clear, professional boundaries and bring a trauma informed, non-judgemental and strengths-based approach to every interaction
- You’re organised and proactive, able to manage a varied workload, prioritise what matters and adapt to a rota including evenings and weekends

As a Project Worker – Complex Needs, you’ll be at the heart of Single Homeless Project's (SHP) mission to end homelessness in London, working within our short-stay accommodation services that offer safety, stability, and a fresh start for people rebuilding their lives. Each day you’ll work alongside clients who have experienced homelessness and are navigating challenges such as substance use, mental health issues, trauma and physical health concerns. About you:
- Experience of working or supporting vulnerable people, rough sleepers or people with mental health, physical health or substance use support needs.
- A non-judgemental approach to working with people facing multi-disadvantages and the skill to promote a strengths-based approach to case work and person-centred engagement.
- Strong team-working and interpersonal skills, maintaining a collaborative approach to delivering service objectives.
- Strong time management skills, ability to manage a caseload of clients, work on own initiative, manage competing priorities and maintain high standards.

Part of a team of Outreach and Project Workers pivotal to the delivery of an exciting new project focused on reaching women identified as at risk of homelessness and exploitation. The Luna Project supports women at risk of rough sleeping, homelessness and exploitation. Working across key areas of Enfield and Haringey you will, through a combination of nighttime outreach and daytime service provision, be critical to supporting a coordinated response across multiple agencies already engaged in this work.
You will undertake at least twice weekly nighttime outreach, support additional services and existing outreach provision and develop a daytime offer that meets the needs of women engaged through outreach and identified as at high risk of harm and homelessness.
You will have responsibility for a caseload of women identified through outreach, referral and presentation at ours and other services. You will provide advocacy, casework support and connection and referral into other agencies which can help them address their needs.

Join us at Single Homeless Project (SHP) as part of our Lewisham Vulnerable Adults Accommodation Service (LVAAS), delivering accommodation-based support across our properties in Brockley and New Cross. Citizens Advice Southwark has a track record of delivering high-quality services from its offices in Peckham and Walworth and at outreach locations across Southwark and South East London. We sort out problems together, for good, by providing free, independent, confidential and impartial advice across all areas of social welfare law, and through using the experience of our clients to bring about positive change through research and campaigns.
We are looking for an experienced money advice caseworker to join our friendly and hard-working team to deliver a high-quality debt advice service for local people in Southwark.
The More than Advice/Equitable Debt Advice Project is an innovative new multi-year project funded by Impact on Urban Health.
This role will provide in-depth debt advice casework and wrap around support for vulnerable local people, with the aim that it will lead to better and more sustainable outcomes. The intensive nature of the casework support provided will be reflected in the targets.
The project aims to target predominantly black and minority ethnic people who are in debt through developing partnerships with local groups and community organisations who serve these communities in Southwark.
You will have:
- Recent and ongoing paid or voluntary experience of managing your own caseload of money advice and income maximisation cases.
- Ability to write detailed up to date case notes, letters and reports as required in plain English.
- Ability to manage a challenging caseload, meet targets and prioritise work in the face of competing demands on your time.
- Ability to respond sensitively to clients from a variety of backgrounds who are under pressure and negotiate with third parties in order to minimise conflict.

We are looking a Project Worker to join our Hammersmith & Fulham Supported Accommodation Pathway, supporting adults with a range of needs who are preparing for more independent living.
