Housing Plus is a small established organisation based in North West London providing supported accommodation for young people aged 16-18 in and leaving care. We have a small, dynamic and diverse staff team who provide support to our young people across three houses where they live while they are supported to develop the skills they need to leave care and live more independently.
We are looking for a PA/ Office Manager-team administrator who is highly motivated to support the organisation. It is a varied role and no two days will be the same! Additionally the role involves supporting the CRS/charity work in Brent Schools Football, which is something Housing Plus has supported for many years.
You will need to have strong organisational skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, a problem solving and “can do” attitude, a degree of flexibility and be an all-round team player. You will have some contact with the young people and will need to be supportive, understanding and sensitive to their needs.
Main Duties:
· Developing administrative systems across the organisation

QAC is a charity that runs a college, supported living (known as Independence Plus) and community services for young adults with learning difficulties and disabilities.
The College has been at its current location since 1903. Our original purpose was to provide education for young people who were blind or visually impaired. Our supported living programmes (Independent Plus) and Community Services offers support after leaving college and to those from within the local community. The marketing and communications team is responsible for marketing QAC services with the main focus being on student recruitment. Following a recent re-brand, the post holder will also be integral in ensuring an efficient and effective roll out of the new branding.
QAC also has an enterprise arm consisting of Sight Village (a touring exhibition supporting those with sight loss), All Formats (a transcription service) and Carbon Fibre Canes. These are all supported by the Marketing and Communications Team.

The Corporate Partnerships Manager is responsible for delivering, renewing and evolving new and existing high-value, long-term corporate partnerships. The Homeless Intervention Project Worker will contribute to the delivery of the emergency service provision within our Support Centre. BACKGROUND
The Helen Bamber Foundation (HBF) is a pioneering Human Rights charity supporting refugees and asylum seekers who are the survivors of trafficking and torture, including gender-based and ‘honour-based’ violence. From our offices we provide specialist medical consultation, therapeutic care, legal protection and practical support to survivors of human rights violations by helping men, women and children heal the emotional and physical damage they have suffered through torture, trafficking or other forms of cruelty. We also take the learning from our work to develop partnerships to increase survivors’ access to services, and use the learning generated by our clients and partners to drive system change.
Since August 2020, Asylum Aid has been part of the Helen Bamber Foundation Group. Asylum Aid operates as an independent charity, led by its own Executive Director within the group structure. For over thirty years, Asylum Aid has been providing legal representation to some of the most vulnerable people seeking asylum. It has built an expert service, delivering vital and life-saving services in some of the most complex legal cases, with a particular speciality working with unaccompanied children, survivors of trafficking, torture or other forms of human cruelty, and stateless people. OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE
As the facilities coordinator, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure and well-functioning work environment in our building. You will be responsible for performing regular building safety and security checks, maintaining the office and ensuring the office is tidy each day you are present. HBF currently has an office in Camden and will be relocating to Old Street in September-October 2024. And Asylum Aid has an office in Westminster which will be in use until at least the end of the year. The Role of a Move-on coordinator / Resettlement worker is to work closing with housing officer to provide housing related support to customers ready to move - on. Liaising with Housing solution Team in RBKC Borough Council to establish housing assessment and applications to achieve the objective. RBKC CNS core move-on pathway is through PRS, MOP and other suitable options to be consider while supporting customers move-on options. The move-on coordinator will work with customers in a floating setting when required to ensure there are settled when they move.
The working hours for this role will be 09:00 - 17.00, Monday - Friday.

Ensure that referrals are chased proactively so that properties which can be used to house those in need are filled as efficiently as possible

Are you a Senior Rewards professional who has worked on strategic projects encompassing all aspects of pay and benefits?
My client is charitable foundation who are looking for a Senior Rewards Manager. You will be responsible for assessing their current structure, developing a redesign and implementing changes to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
This is initially a 6 month fixed term contact opportunity with the possibility of extension. The role will be mix of home working as well as working from the client's office near Aldgate in East London
You will be an experienced Rewards Manager who is ideally CIPD qualified to Chartered Member level.
The role is very much project focused, requiring a strategic and hands on approach to reward management.
Paying £48,456 pro rota.
Role
- Lead a comprehensive review of the current reward structure and identify areas for improvement
- Following review, lead the design of a total reward structure
- Agree reward principles with key stakeholders, presenting and discussing structure options aligned to the principles and building a total reward structure suitable for consultation.
- During the design phase, collaborate with key stakeholders, including the Senior Leadership Team, Union Representatives and wider staff
- Develop communications messaging as appropriate during the different stages of the project.
- Manage a benchmarking process and recommend adjustments
- Be responsible for agreeing transition principles, carrying out impact analysis of new proposals per employee, and other data modelling as well as cost analysis to demonstrate the implications of proposed changes.
- Responsible for managing and implementing the transition from the old to new reward structure within the agreed timeframe.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions to communicate the changes.
- Form a project working group and provide regular updates on project progress and any challenges encountered.
- Provide Reward skills development training to build understanding and capability of Reward skills with others
- Provide subject matter expert advice on a broad range of strategic and operational Reward matters

Job Responsibilities
- Content Creation: Develop engaging and original content for our social media platforms, including graphics, videos, and written posts.

The Role
Coordinating and building capacity for coastal communities to protect their marine environment.
This is a rare opportunity to join our dynamic, impactful international team, which is working to protect our global ocean and the people and biodiversity dependent upon it. The Coordinator will lead an innovative multi-year programme supported by the EU to train, equip, and empower small-scale fishing communities. The programme will help to protect fish stocks and marine biodiversity from illegal, unsustainable fishing in 15 countries across the Global South.
The programme will include the rollout of a ‘Global Toolkit’ that gives fishing communities innovative, practical equipment, training, and support to help end illegal fishing. Capacity building will include using EJF’s DASE app, which enables fishers to document and report illegal fishing. This app will be accompanied by insightful practical guidance to strengthen local governance and advocacy to protect inshore waters relied upon by coastal communities.
Supported by two regional coordinators and drawing on EJF’s decades of experience in activist training and field programmes in West Africa and Asia, the role will oversee the Toolkit’s introduction to at least 15 countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Pacific.
The programme seeks someone who is a superb, experienced coordinator and manager, able to give remote support and guidance to multiple local teams overseas and track and monitor the programme’s implementation and the Toolkit’s effectiveness against agreed KPIs. The role will involve some travel to kickstart projects, assess and evaluate implementation over time and propose adjustments and further iterations of the Toolkit according to feedback and shared learning. We seek a proactive, creative and determined problem solver who will capitalise on new opportunities and ensure we exceed expectations.
Building strong, trusted and proactive relationships at the grassroots level and facilitating partnerships and information-sharing with national and community-based civil society groups in each country will be essential. The role requires a natural diplomat, able to lead discussions with government officials at the local and national level. The Coordinator will lead the grant, reporting to the EU as the funder and other major stakeholders, including national governments.
As the global lead, the Coordinator will be a superb, confident and inspiring communicator, in writing and person, able to give visibility to the programme's beneficiaries and partners and its impacts. The role will work closely with EJF’s film and comms teams, devising outputs including events at grassroots and national levels that will be effective and influential at reaching their target audiences, sharing success stories and inspiring additional uptake and support.
