About the opportunity
Working closely with the Corporate Partnerships Manager and wider Philanthropy Department, the Corporate Partnerships Coordinator will identify and cultivate fruitful partnerships with a range of small, medium and large businesses.
They will help maximise the potential of corporate and other organisations for funding, volunteer recruitment, and other philanthropic opportunities, to enable growth and sustainability for Action Tutoring. This will be achieved by securing and nurturing small to medium sized organisations to provide financial support for programmes. Additionally, the Corporate Partnerships Coordinator will engage with business to generate volunteers from across the country to deliver both online and face to face tutoring.
Deadline: Sunday, 28th September 2025
Interviews: The first round of interviews will be held online on Wednesday, 15th October, and the second round will happen in person, with the location dependent on the applicant's address.
Start date: Ideally Monday 24th November 2025
Place of work: This is a flexible/hybrid role, and while you can be based anywhere in England, a willingness to travel to our London office is essential. The office address is 8-10 Fivefields, Grosvenor Gardens, London SW1W 0DH.
Contract and hours: Full-time fixed-term contract of 12 months. We offer flexible hours with 9.30-4 as core hours. A full working week is 37.5 hours.
Duties and responsibilities
- Identify and persuade small to medium sized businesses to fund specific schools in Action Tutoring regions as part of a pilot of a ‘local champions’ scheme.
- Drive new applications from potential corporate volunteer tutors, ensuring a strong supply of high quality applications to meet growth targets in each region, for both face to face and online delivery.
- Generate regular reports and communicate updates to volunteer partners to demonstrate the value and impact of their volunteers and financial support.
- Support programme staff to develop local partnerships, through businesses and public sector links.
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment channels and relationships; use data to analyse the effectiveness of different recruitment channels, using this information to inform future work.
- Any other ad hoc responsibilities as deemed relevant by the CEO.

Purpose of the Role
This is an opportunity for the right person to join the Refugee Migrant Centre (RMC) as an experienced Bid Writer. RMC is an established, award winning, regional charity, renowned for its work with refugees and migrants.
For over 25 years, RMC has assisted thousands of refugees and migrants from 164 countries. It has helped to remove the barriers to integration, helping its clients become equal citizens, using a whole-person approach to the delivery of services from specialist legal advice through to education and employment programmes.
This is an exciting time to be joining the team, as RMC are strengthening and expanding its infrastructure following a period of growth in staff, activities and turnover (from £2.7 to £4.3 million in the last few years).

Main Responsibilities
· Prospect research - to research potential funders to apply to who fund our work
· Write high quality applications
· Applications to Trusts & Foundations, Lottery, Statutory funders, social investment organisations and other funding bodies.
· To work within the fundraising department and support team members with proof reading and guidance on their applications.
Person Specification
You will be educated to at least degree level, have at least five years experience and a successful track record of delivering substantial fundraising results at a senior level. You should be able to demonstrate skills and competency in the following areas:

The successful candidate will join RMC’s Immigration department and play a key role in supporting our qualified Caseworkers in delivering immigration advice and conducting casework within the IAA framework.
RMC is regulated by the Immigration Advice Authority (IAA) and is accredited to provide free immigration advice up to Level 3, covering cases from initial advice through to the First-tier Tribunal and Upper Tribunal.
Our immigration services focus on assisting migrants (including undocumented migrants), refugees, and asylum-seekers in navigating the UK’s complex immigration legal system. We help clients secure the right to remain in the UK for themselves and their families, with a particular emphasis on human rights claims, family and private life applications, family reunion, settlement, citizenship, and applications under the EU Settlement Scheme.
Purpose of the Role:
Main duties and responsibilities
· Provide administrative support to Caseworkers across all our offices during their conduct of their immigration cases (including supporting with the intake of client information, preparing documents, handling further evidence requests and maintain case files up to date)
· Contact clients and arrange appointments as required
· Draft routine correspondence under supervision (e.g. case notes, closing letters, emails)
· Ensure accurate information is recorded in our case management system and that all case files are up-to-date
· Track deadlines and ensure applications and documents are submitted in time
· Delegate administrative tasks and supervise Legal Assistant (Placement) students
· Work with the Immigration Department Manager and the Quality Assurance Officer to ensure adherence to quality standards and IAA requirements
· Maintain confidentiality
· Work in compliance with the IAA regulatory framework and the Code of Standards as well as GDPR requirements
· Provide general administrative support to the Casework Team, including scanning, filing, and document management.
