We are thrilled to be working in partnership with the regional fundraising team to find a passionate, talented individual to join them as a Partnerships Officer. This role will focus on delivering new partnerships with corporate businesses, and raising vital funds to continue invaluable lifelong support for all stroke survivors, just like Leighton.
The Role
As a Partnerships Officer you will build long lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with corporate business. The role will be focused developing new strategic partnerships. The main responsibilities will include:
- Acquiring new strategic partnerships
- Developing a robust pipeline of high value partnerships
- Building strong relationships with businesses whose values align
- Connecting and delivering engaging strategies to achieve effective partnerships
- Delivering exceptional stewardship to all corporate partners to meet income targets.
The Person
We are looking for someone who is confident, and has the tenacity to deliver new corporate partnerships. You must be ambitious, motivated and enthusiastic with excellent relationship building skills.
You should be a great communicator, with the ability to raise awareness of the Stroke Association at all levels. We are keen to speak to anyone who is excited at the prospect of building a new pipeline and portfolio of corporate partnerships.
The role requires flexibility to maximise opportunities, and offers the autonomy to work on your own initiative. Previous experience in fundraising is desirable however, we are also keen to speak with people who have experience in business development and building successful partnerships who are keen to transfer this skillset into the rewarding world of fundraising.

The Major Donor and Trusts Manager will play a pivotal role in driving RNID’s High Value fundraising strategy. You’ll manage a diverse portfolio of major donors and trusts, strengthen stewardship processes, and develop innovative engagement strategies. Working in close partnership with the Senior Philanthropy Manager and High Value colleagues, you’ll help unlock transformational gifts that make a lasting impact.
You will:
· Cultivate and manage relationships with major donors and trusts.
· Design and deliver innovative stewardship plans.
· Create engaging funding proposals and impact reports.
· Work with advocates and internal teams to identify new prospects.
· Plan and deliver donor cultivation events.
You’ll bring a proven track record of securing significant gifts (five and six-figure), excellent relationship-building skills, and the ability to craft compelling proposals. Highly organised and self-motivated, you’ll be confident using CRM systems and managing multiple priorities. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with a collaborative approach and a passion for RNID’s mission to create an inclusive world for people who are deaf or have hearing loss or tinnitus.
No essential qualifications are needed, but a good standard of written English and attention to detail is a requirement.

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced programme manager who will oversee The Advice Workforce Development Fund (AWDF). AWDF is a collaborative programme dedicated to strengthening and sustaining the social welfare advice sector in London. The role will coordinate and run steering and advisory groups, and ‘task and finish’ groups, working with cross-sector stakeholders to enable the implementation of recent recommendations generated by research commissioned by the programme, and help with monitoring and evaluating the project and funded projects under this programme. About Eat Smart
Eat Smart is a successful primary school educational programme born in the NE of England designed to inspire children and schools to reduce food waste and build sustainable food systems. We deliver engaging resources and learning experiences that empower schools and pupils to have more ownership of their kitchens/dinner halls, improve student wellbeing, and have increased environmental awareness.
Since 2018 Eat Smart has enabled 70 schools in North East England to rescue their food waste by over 25%, equivalent to saving 6,000 meals worth £13,000 per school, per year, and our expansion to other areas of the UK has already begun. With an ever-growing data set and credibility for school food waste prevention, we have increasing potential to affect school food policy and deliver food waste prevention interventions on a national level.
As we expand our delivery across the UK, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic Development Manager to lead the expansion via a franchise model, build partnerships, and oversee the operational excellence of our growing network.
This is a pivotal leadership role focused on scaling the Eat Smart model nationally. The postholder will drive growth by developing regional and national partnerships, securing funding streams, recruiting and onboarding delivery partners, and ensuring quality and impact across all Eat Smart schools and organisations.

The Journey and Cross Sell team sits within the Content and Conversion team in the Marketing and Communications capability. The main focus of the Journey and Cross-sell manager will be:

For over 30 years, the Centre has offered daily support, practical help, community and opportunities for rebuilding confidence and connection.

About the role
The Director will:
- Provide visible, compassionate and strategic leadership.
- Lead service development and cultural change, embedding trauma-informed and inclusive practice.
- Strengthen governance, safeguarding, operational excellence and staff wellbeing.
- Build strong relationships with Sheffield City Council, health partners, universities, VCSEF - voluntary, community, social enterprise and faith organisations and local parishes.
- Oversee the Centre’s transformation into a renewed model (community hub or hybrid model shaped by local needs).
- Support long-term financial sustainability through partnership-building and fundraising.
About you
We are looking for someone who brings:
- Strong senior leadership experience in social care, homelessness, health, community or related sectors.
- A track record of managing teams, leading change and improving outcomes for vulnerable adults.
- Understanding of safeguarding, risk and quality service delivery.
- Strategic insight, emotional intelligence and resilience.

As a Communications Officer, your responsibilities will include:
• Raising the profile of Carers First by creating engaging and accessible content across digital and offline channels
• Supporting increased local presence and visibility of Carers First across the areas we work
• Assisting with the development and delivery of campaigns and projects, helping to increase engagement and promote our work locally
About you
To be successful in this role you will need:
• Some experience supporting communications and stakeholder engagement activities across a range of channels
• The ability to help deliver campaigns and contribute to the implementation and monitoring of communications plans
• Awareness of how analytics can be used to measure performance and support improvement
• Good written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Well organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
• Good IT and digital skills, including use of Microsoft Office and familiarity with digital tools such as email platforms, CMS, and social media scheduling software
• Positive interpersonal skills, able to build relationships and work collaboratively as part of a team
• Motivated and reliable, able to work with some independence while seeking guidance when needed, and committed to the charity’s values

About the opportunity
Working closely with the Corporate Partnerships Manager and wider Philanthropy Department, the Corporate Partnerships Coordinator will identify and cultivate fruitful partnerships with a range of small, medium and large businesses.
They will help maximise the potential of corporate and other organisations for funding, volunteer recruitment, and other philanthropic opportunities, to enable growth and sustainability for Action Tutoring. This will be achieved by securing and nurturing small to medium sized organisations to provide financial support for programmes. Additionally, the Corporate Partnerships Coordinator will engage with business to generate volunteers from across the country to deliver both online and face to face tutoring.

Place of work: This is a flexible/hybrid role, and while you can be based anywhere in England, a willingness to travel to our London office is essential. The office address is 8-10 Fivefields, Grosvenor Gardens, London SW1W 0DH.
Contract and hours: Full-time fixed-term contract of 12 months. We offer flexible hours with 9.30-4 as core hours. A full working week is 37.5 hours.
Duties and responsibilities
- Identify and persuade small to medium sized businesses to fund specific schools in Action Tutoring regions as part of a pilot of a ‘local champions’ scheme.
- Drive new applications from potential corporate volunteer tutors, ensuring a strong supply of high quality applications to meet growth targets in each region, for both face to face and online delivery.
- Generate regular reports and communicate updates to volunteer partners to demonstrate the value and impact of their volunteers and financial support.
- Support programme staff to develop local partnerships, through businesses and public sector links.
- Maintain accurate records of recruitment channels and relationships; use data to analyse the effectiveness of different recruitment channels, using this information to inform future work.
- Any other ad hoc responsibilities as deemed relevant by the CEO.
