The Multiple System Atrophy Trust (MSA Trust) is the UK and Eire’s leading national charity offering vital support to people affected by MSA.  We are entirely funded through voluntary income. Most of our supporters are already familiar with our cause and need guidance and empathetic stewardship to maximise their fundraising in memory or in support of their loved ones.  

Can you help?  We are looking for a caring, friendly and innovative Fundraising Officer who will be the first point of contact for our donor base and can cultivate long term relationships with them.

Reporting to our Senior Fundraising Engagement Officer this role would be ideal if you:

• Have experience of supporter care and stewardship in the voluntary sector
• Have experience in compassionate communicating (written and verbal)
• Are looking for your next step on the ladder and want to learn about the complete supporter journey in a dynamic, friendly and growing charity.

Digital Marketing Assistant

About the Role

As Digital Marketing Assistant, you will support the Digital Marketing and wider Digital teams in their day-to-day delivery of the digital marketing strategy across owned, paid and earned channels. You will work closely with the Social Media, Content and Fundraising Coordinators on content generation for digital marketing channels, focusing on appealing to target audiences and current supporters in a positive and engaging way.

Your main duties include:

• Assisting with the generation of content for digital marketing channels.
• Writing and editing social media copy for all departments.
• Creating digital content in its various forms including video and images, using photo and video editing software as required.
• Monitoring incoming social media activity including comments and direct messages.
• Assisting with the delivery of fundraising and commercial activities.
• Helping to research and introduce new and effective digital trends to ensure the charity is using digital marketing channels in the most engaging way.
• Assisting the Digital team in monitoring and reporting on social media activity using analytical tools.

The working pattern for this role will be hybrid working, combining home working with regular onsite attendance. As the role requires regular travel to various Charity locations in remote areas with limited public transport options, access to a car is strongly advised to meet the requirements of the role

About You

You will have experience of creating engaging content for social media channels, social media community management and reporting with:

• An excellent standard of written English and communication skills, including copywriting for different audiences.
• A good base knowledge of digital marketing and fundraising.
• Adept at using photo and video editing software, ideally the Adobe suite.
• Able to multi-task and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail whilst working with a number of conflicting demands and deadlines.
• Strong I.T. skills (proficient in Word, Outlook and Excel).
• Demonstrable customer service skills (including successful experience of dealing with enquiries and complaints from members of the public).
• UK, full valid Driver’s licence.

Assistant Director of Operations
Salary: £72,000 per annum
Work Pattern: This is a permanent contract, working full time, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours a week.
Location: Your base can be at any of the 6 mainland UK Discovery Sites: Arundel BN18, Llanelli SA14, London SW13, Martin Mere L40, Slimbridge GL2 or Washington NE38. The 7th site is Castle Espie.

About The Role

WWT is the charity for wetlands.

This is a critical role in the recently restructured Operations Directorate at WWT. As Assistant Director, you will be directly responsible for the performance of our 7 Wetland Discovery sites. You will provide inspiring and professional leadership to your teams, whilst proactively collaborating cross organisation and externally.

Your focus will be on driving meaningful improvements at sites across our three ambitions of Restore, Inspire and Thrive, with emphasis on financial performance driven by visitor experiences. About You

To join as our Assistant Director of Operations, you will need to evidence:

• Experience in a senior position(s) held in the visitor attraction/events management sectors, directly accountable for site operations and visitor experience throughout the visitor journey.

About Resonance
Resonance is a 24/7, artist-led community radio station based in Southwark, London, broadcasting on FM, DAB and online to audiences in the UK and internationally. The station supports experimental arts & culture and under-represented voices through community radio broadcasting, working with hundreds of volunteer broadcasters, artists and producers each year alongside a small staff team. Resonance is delivered by London Musicians’ Collective Limited, a registered charity (290236), and is sustained through listener support and grant funding.

Purpose of the Role
This role exists to increase Resonance’s charitable income, securing the funding that enables its artistic and community work to happen. It sits alongside, rather than within, artistic and operational delivery, with a specific focus on charitable fundraising and supporter engagement.

The Development Coordinator works across the organisation to draw out the charitable purpose, public benefit and impact of Resonance’s activity, and to communicate this clearly to funders and donors through funding applications, donor communications and impact-led narratives.

Key Outcomes

• Charitable income increases year on year, supported by a strong pipeline of trust and foundation applications and effective stewardship of funders.
• Individual giving grows, with donors and supporters receiving regular, credible communications that lead to stronger engagement and donations over time.

Role Context
This role is supported by grant funding from the Community Radio Fund, administered by Ofcom on behalf of the UK Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS). The Development Coordinator focuses on resourcing Resonance’s charitable mission by translating artistic and community activity into clear, funder- and donor-facing narratives, working at the intersection of information, relationships and deadlines and exercising good judgement when priorities compete or information is incomplete.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Fundraising Executives provide support to the wider Fundraising team assisting with all aspects of fundraising activity. Three Fundraising Executives are managed by the Head of Fundraising and support fundraising activity across 11 segments of income generation. The role provides an opportunity to gain a level of understanding and knowledge about each income stream and donor stewardship.

The Fundraising Executive is a varied role with involvement in each stage of fundraising activity, from research and planning to campaign or event delivery and then income processing and thanking of donors and supporters. The successful candidate will be passionate about learning about fundraising and how we as a team raise the vital funds needed to provide Trinity’s care for future patients and their loved ones. 

This is an entry level role that is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to learn about fundraising and make their first step in developing a fundraising career. 

The successful candidate will:

·Open mail and process cheques and donations to the fundraising database, ensuring donations are accurately recorded and thanked in a timely way.

·Support with email and written correspondence with donors and grant makers 

·Assist Fundraising Managers with research and administrative support.

·Join the team at fundraising events (at the hospice and in our community) raising the profile of the hospice and encouraging support (events include hospice events and external events such as London Marathon).

·Support our reach to fundraising audiences through social media and other channels.

·Work collaboratively with the Events Coordinator to provide logistical and practical assistance in the planning and hosting of our key fundraising events (including Summer Garden Party, Summer Solstice, Concert at the Hospice, Gala Dinner, Christmas Fair and Christmas Carol Concert and others).

·Maintain excellent internal relationships with the Communications team, as well as the Hospice clinical teams and other stakeholders.

·Support the wider Fundraising team providing support and participating in other duties where required. 

Experience, knowledge, skills, and characteristics

Required:

·Enthusiasm to learn about fundraising and contribute to the Compton team activity.

·Excellent written and oral communication skills.

·A friendly and confident demeanour and a desire to engage and communicate with people from all parts of the community.

·A proactive and results-driven attitude with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and take initiative.

The Payroll Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the delivery of an accurate, timely, and customer-focused payroll service for our circa 700-strong workforce. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, this role provides hands-on payroll administration, ensures data accuracy and works closely with colleagues, managers, HR, Finance and our outsourced payroll bureau to maintain excellent payroll standards.

The Payroll Coordinator will be responsible for processing payroll changes, maintaining payroll records, preparing data uploads, undertaking checks and reconciliations and providing responsive support to employee queries.

The Work Rights Centre is looking for a motivated employment law expert to  lead  our growing training programme, and support the wider development of the charity.

About the Role

The Speech and Language Therapist at the Education Hub will provide specialist assessment, intervention and support for children and young people affected by the Grenfell Tragedy. The therapist will conduct comprehensive assessments using evidence-based tools, including formal standardised assessments, observational analysis and dynamic assessment approaches to evaluate speech, language and communication needs.

You will:

• Work on a 1:1 and group basis with children and young people and provide a high level of expertise to develop students’ speech, language and communication skills.
• Give advice, information and support to enable parents/carers and schools to promote the development of speech, language and communication skills.
• Work with families to equip them with the knowledge and skills to create supportive home environments that meet their child’s specific needs.
• Work in close liaison with the Occupational Therapist and the rest of the team to ensure efficient and effective management of children identified with speech, language and communication needs.
• Comprehensively assess children and young people to help identify difficulties in expressive and receptive language, social communication, fluency, and speech sound development, ensuring targeted and effective intervention.
• Produce detailed reports with clear actionable recommendations to inform support plans and guide effective therapeutic and educational strategies, ensuring interventions are tailored to each child’s specific speech, language, and communication needs.
• Develop Speech & Language Therapy training packages, policies, and programmes to parents, carers and professionals.

About You

You will have:

• UK qualified status and registered with the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) with a license to practice.
• Registered member of Royal College of Speech & Language Therapists
• Trained in Hanen, Elklan, Let’s Talk or VERVE Child Interaction (or a willingness to attend training)
• Extensive knowledge of principles in effective working with families and schools and application to practice.

About the Organisation

The Grenfell 'Education Hub' opened last year to serve those most affected by the Grenfell Tower tragedy. The hub provides a safe, restorative and relational education support to children and young people, their families and local schools.

A consultation process in 2023 and 2024 about the needs of the community and the bereaved and survivors led to proposals for an educational ‘hub’.  This comprises a wide range of professionals including four specialist teachers, an Educational Psychologist, a Speech and Language Therapist, an Occupational Therapist, a Careers Specialist, and a Family Support Practitioner. Their time will be divided between direct work with children and families in the ‘Hub’, and support for local schools.

The activity of the hub aims to;

• Provide good quality educational support to as many children and young people as possible
• Build the skills and confidence of children and young people, their families, and education staff in local schools
• Develop strong relationships with those most affected by the Grenfell Tower fire
• Accurately assess its impact

We're looking for a highly motivated ISVA (Independent Sexual Violence Advisor) to work across Derbyshire. The role will support people aged 18 and over who have experienced sexual abuse or rape at any point. The successful candidate with join our friendly, professional and passionate team, working across Derbyshire remotely and in person.

You might be the right person for the role if you have:

· At least one year’s experience in managing complex client cases

· Experience of building relationships with partner services and other professionals

· Knowledge of issues affecting victims of sexual violence and abuse
