Jobseeker Personalised Travel Planning Officer Nottingham & Derby

£24,691 pro rata per annum

22.5 hours per week – Contract to 31 March 2021 - based in Derby / home working

This exciting opportunity is to promote sustainable and active travel with an emphasis on cycling, through a one stop personalised travel planning and travel support service for those seeking employment (including employment benefit claimants, apprentices, new starters and others) in Nottingham and Derby with aim of developing the skills, confidence and ability to cycle, walk and use all forms of sustainable transports, so improving their access to education, training and employment.

Committed to the benefits of active travel, you will have excellent communication and presentation skills, experience of delivering practical projects which included community engagement or behaviour change, be very enthusiastic about the role and have the ability to motivate others. Experience of successful partnership working, organising and delivering events and leading group workshops is also required as is IT literacy and an understanding of local travel initiatives. You will also be committed to the promotion of sustainable transport.  

Closing date for the receipt of completed applications is 9am on Wednesday 7 October 2020. Interviews will take place via MS Teams / Zoom on Wednesday 21 October 2020.
