The Head of Corporate Partnerships will join at an incredibly exciting time for the charity and corporate partnerships programme. Sitting on the Fundraising SLT and leading the team of four, the Head of Corporate will bring a new business lens to the portfolio, driving new brand and commercial, strategic and charity of the year partnerships. The role will also oversee a Department of Health funded programme to bring pregnancy information to SMEs.
Personally leading on and supporting the Senior Partnerships Manager in developing new business will be a key element of the role, including building propositions around key campaign moments. Additionally, the Head of Corporate Partnerships will work closely with the Deputy Director of Philanthropy and Partnerships to develop a longer-term strategy to be in a position to win the large-scale transformational partnerships. Overseeing the existing portfolio, managed by a Partnerships Manager, will also be crucial; there are a number of upcoming renewals and opportunities for growth.

The Partnerships Manager will manage a portfolio of commercial and fundraising accounts totalling c.£250k, as well as some new business development. The portfolio includes a £60k per annum CRM relationship with Plum & Ashby, focused around the Wave of Light candle campaign for Baby Loss Awareness week, with lots of influencer and comms engagement. The new business element will support the Senior Partnerships Manager and the Head of Corporate in their new strategy for increased brand, strategic and coty partnerships.
Key responsibilities:

About the role
Are you an experienced corporate fundraiser with an interest in working in the international development sector? Are you creative, strategic, highly organised, a confident and effective communicator and strong team player?
We are looking for an experienced Senior Corporate Fundraising Manager to work closely with the Head of Programme Funding to drive new donor engagement and secure sustainable, multi-year funding. The role
This exciting role within NLOS’s senior management team was created to help bring greater strategic alignment across NLOS and its charities and to better capitalise on new and existing opportunities. The post is critical to ensuring that we maximise the resources available to us through increased income generation and by forging strategic partnerships across multiple sectors and fields that allow us to increase and leverage support for each charity and provide a world class customer experience, while protecting and preserving green spaces of international significance. Shelter’s mature fundraising team has seen continuous year on year growth. The directorate generates over £65m gross income, of which a high percentage is unrestricted, giving us an exceptional level of investment flexibility. World Child Cancer is seeking an experienced corporate and philanthropy fundraiser to join our growing team and play a vital role in improving the chances of survival and quality of life of children with cancer in under-resourced countries.
About World Child Cancer
Over 400,000 children worldwide develop cancer each year. Childhood cancer is most often curable, with over 80% survival rate in high income countries. However, in many low-and-middle-income countries survival rates are often 25% or lower.
World Child Cancer’s goal is to help redress that inequity and improve the chances of children with cancer to survive and thrive in under-resourced countries. We currently work with local hospitals in 12 countries in Africa, Asia and Mexico to enable children with cancer to have equal access to the best possible treatment and care through awareness raising on signs of childhood cancer, providing financial, logistical and emotional support to address barriers to access treatment, training of healthcare workers and advocacy.
Overview of the role
This newly created Senior Philanthropy and Partnerships Manager role will play a key part in raising income from companies and philanthropists to help achieve World Child Cancer’s mission.
You will be passionate about enabling children with cancer to have equitable access to quality treatment wherever they are born. The LSO is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Corporate Partnerships Executive (New Business) to lead on identifying and engaging with a new portfolio of prospective corporate supporters, in liaison with the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager.

The Senior People Partner’s role is to manage, supervise and support employee relations, employee wellbeing, and diversity and inclusion initiatives, overseeing the employee life cycle. They will also advise and coach the Talent Acquisition and Volunteer team on volunteer related cases using RMG policies.
Key responsibilities involve managing a direct caseload of complex employee relations cases, including leading on liaison with ACAS, external investigators, and legal advisors, and preparing for and attending Employment Tribunals. Further core objectives include leading the drafting of new/revisions to people policies, consultation and negotiation with relevant stakeholders, and the communication and embedding of new/revised practices across the workforce. The Senior People Partner will further build and maintain effective working relationships with the senior leadership team, acting as an expert strategic adviser on a range of employee relations matters and as a point of escalation for employee relations enquiries emerging from other teams, actively coaching, supporting, and mentoring colleagues to grow team capability and support development.
The successful candidate will have proven experience in managing an HR case work portfolio, which includes conducting discipline and grievance investigations, hearings and appeals, and ACAS Early Conciliation and Employment Tribunals, as well as overseeing attendance and performance management processes. Established success in coaching managers and leaders on various HR matters is essential to this role, empowering them to manage risk, resolve conflict, support their team members to excel at work, and foster cohesion and trust within a hybrid workforce. The postholder will have experience and interest in managing employee wellbeing and diversity and inclusion initiatives; be CIPD qualified; have excellent and adaptable organisation, communication and interpersonal skills; and will enjoy working with a variety of people, with a strong ability to listen effectively.
This is a full-time, permanent role in Band 4 – Senior Management and Senior Specialists. Core hours of work will be 36 per week, working 5 days between the hours of 9am-5pm, although due to the nature of the work, some flexibility may be required.
