About the role

We are searching for an experienced fundraiser to drive and grow Individual Giving income streams, currently worth around £800,000 annually to the Charity. The postholder will oversee campaigns including Regular Giving, In Memory Giving, Lottery, Raffles, and Appeals, while managing donor stewardship, acquisition, and retention. With a small and high-performing team to support you, you'll lead on budgeting, data management, and help shape the future of fundraising.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Managing income and expenditure budgets, monitor ROI, lead reforecasting efforts, and support the development of long-term financial plans.
• Lead innovative fundraising initiatives, exploring new opportunities (including digital) and refreshing existing campaigns in collaboration with Marketing and Communications.
• Oversee donor stewardship and supporter journeys, building strong relationships with new and existing donors and engaging service users and their families.
• Ensure effective use of the Raiser's Edge database, supporting compliance, performance tracking, and strategic decision-making.
• Manage fundraising compliance, including GDPR, gambling regulations, and fundraising best practices, while participating in the Information Governance Steering Committee.
• Collaborate across departments (Fundraising, Marketing, Retail) to coordinate income generation activities and maximise cross-functional opportunities.
• Lead and evaluate Individual Giving activities, including managing 3rd party contracts, attending key events, conducting market research, and contributing to audits and competitor analysis.

About you

You will bring a proven track record of securing income through the development and delivery of successful fundraising campaigns. You'll bring experience in building donor relationships, strategic planning, and hitting ambitious targets. Strong analytical skills, and experience with CRM or fundraising databases are essential, as is the ability to translate data into actionable insights. You'll bring excellent communication, interpersonal, and project management skills, as well as experience in budget and resource planning. Regalar travel to attend meetings and events is required so you will need access to your own vehicle.

The role

The Legacy and In Memory Manager is responsible for developing and delivering plans to maximise gifts in wills and in memory giving, ensuring a sustainable income stream for the charity whilst providing exceptional levels of supporter care. This role will oversee the administration of legacies, drive the growth of the charity's Free Wills programme, steward legacy pledgers, and expand in memory fundraising.

The Legacy and In Memory Manager will also ensure supporter journeys, audience insight and effective targeting are at the heart of the charity's programme, working with the Individual Giving and Development Lead to create impactful marketing campaigns across a variety of channels.

You will play an important part in raising awareness of the importance of wills to a wider audience.

About You

As a Legacy and In Memory Manager we would love you to have experience of the following
-Proven experience in legacy and/or in memory fundraising within the charity sector.

- Good understanding of charity legacy administration, probate law, and regulatory
requirements.

-Experience in developing and delivering fundraising plans with measurable outcomes.

Specialist Support Workers within Look Ahead are required to have either an extra dimension of experience or a higher qualification level as determined relevant for the post. With headquarters in London, and three respite houses situated in the South of England, Wales and Scotland, Honeypot supports young carers aged 5 to 12 years old, who perform a surrogate adult role as a carer for a loved one, often single-handedly, and whose wellbeing is at significant risk, leading to anxiety, isolation, poor confidence, and low self-esteem.

Reporting to the Senior Corporate Partnerships Manager, you will be responsible for growing support from businesses (currently 30 small corporates) plus local groups. You’ll manage existing partners and build new relationships to hit a £150K annual target. 

The successful candidate will:

• Have a minimum of two years’ experience in Fundraising
• Demonstrate strong relationship-building and networking skills.
• Have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to deliver persuasive and dynamic presentations.
• Be analytical in approach to tracking performance and impact.
• Bring a creative approach, to create persuasive employee engagement and CSR campaigns, and exciting community events and fundraising campaigns that inspire support.

Expectations of LMK Leaders

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required

• Extensive experience of teaching or working with young people (10 to 24 yrs old) in educational or community settings.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience co-designing, delivering and evaluating group sessions, consisting of minimum of 12 and maximum of 30 participants.
• Experience or co-designing session plans and co-facilitating with others; able to collaborate equally with others.
• A strong commitment to young people and knowledge and understanding of issues affecting their relationships.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills with the ability to create a safe and non-judgmental space, that allows young people to speak freely about their relationships and experience.
• Able to adapt and be flexible in workshops to get the best engagement from a range of participants. 

Must also:

• Be entitled to work in the UK.

The Baby Charter is a national accreditation programme being undertaken by most neonatal units in the UK. It aims to improve outcomes for babies born premature or sick by encouraging neonatal healthcare professionals to involve parents in the care of their baby. This is known as Family Integrated Care, or FICare.

Night Support Workers enable people with particular needs to manage their tenancies and live independent lives of their choosing in the community. Night Support Workers are responsible for ensuring continuity of a support service at night and for keeping customers and the building safe.
This role is initially 3 months fixed term contract.
The shift pattern for this role is as follows: 10 x 8 hour shift pattern per fortnight, to include every other weekend.

What you'll do:
- Building supportive, trusting relationships with customers and creating a positive atmosphere
- Working proactively with other members of the team to handle the service caseload and administrative responsibilities
- Conducting key work sessions as required, that are innovative and engaging in order to achieve Support Plan goals
- Ensuring ongoing assessment and management of risks associated with customers within an attitude of 'positive risk taking'
- Providing support with daily living activities, including practical assistance to support customers to independent living e.g. budgeting, cooking, establishing a night time routine
- Supporting customers to maintain a healthy environment and where appropriate assisting them to clean their accommodation and maintain good personal hygiene
- Supporting customer with administering medication and prescription.
- Assisting in the recording and reporting of customer incidents
- Managing customer referrals, completing assessments and obtaining and maintaining all relevant paperwork

Specialist Behavioural Support Workers are responsible for the customer's emotional, psychological wellbeing as well as providing support to help them develop the life skills they require to meet the assessed needs. At Nimrod House, this will include providing physical, emotional, domestic, and social care. They will work with customers to promote social inclusion and alongside other members of the team to promote independent living, encouraging customers to maximise their skills and choices.
This role's shift pattern consist of early and late shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
What you'll do:
Behaviour Analysis:
- You are liable to observing and monitoring the customer's behaviours, the duration, the intensity, and the damage, as well as factors that may alleviate or trigger the behaviour.
- You are responsible in planning appropriate intervention to modify and resolve the behaviour.
- You require superb interpersonal and relationship skills and must have the capacity to handle psychologically behavioural changes.
- You understand and collaborate with the different support organizations accessible in the community.

Other Responsibilities:
- If a need arises, deliver all aspects of support to enable a customer to develop independent living skills as appropriate to the individual needs of the customer. In some services, this will include delivering personal and physical care as appropriate.

We are Zarach, the children’s bed charity, and we’re on a mission to end child bed poverty, giving children the opportunity to engage at school and break the cycle of poverty. 

In our nearly seven years as a registered charity, we’ve captured the hearts and attention of many individuals, community groups, businesses and funders who want to support us on our mission. We’ve also been given an incredible media platform from which we have raised awareness of child bed poverty at local, regional and national levels. This support and awareness has seen us deliver over 12,000 bed bundles to children to date.

Our cause and story have captured the nation’s attention, and we have been provided with an incredible national platform that has seen us appear on local and national TV, on the radio, and in the national press. This has included appearances on BBC Breakfast, ITV News, Channel 4 News, Radio 5 Live, BBC Look North, and The Independent newspaper supported our Christmas 2023 appeal, culminating in Zarach being the front-page story on Christmas Day. 

In our short history, we have received continual funding support from a range of charitable trusts & foundations, businesses, and individuals, providing a great overall income and resources mix. 

With an estimated 4.5 million children in the UK living in poverty – including 1 million experiencing destitution and around 900,000 living in bed poverty – we have an aspiration to reach more children, in more areas of high need across the country. 

We are now looking to appoint, for the first time, a dedicated Fundraising Events Manager to work within our small and dynamic Fundraising & Supporter Engagement team. You will help us unlock the financial and awareness-raising potential that a programme of events can deliver as we seek to lift more children out of bed poverty across more parts of the country.

As our ideal candidate, you will need to be within commuting distance to our Leeds warehouse, meaning you can travel regularly to meet with the team.
