PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
To develop, implement and evaluate the Banter Project youth service in partnership with adopted young people in Northern Ireland. These young people range in age from 14-25 years and live throughout Northern Ireland. The role will primarily work with the project participants, but has additional relationships with community organisations, educational establishments and employers to ensure that all project goals and outcomes are efficiently and effectively met.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To lead the development and delivery of all elements of the Banter Project adopted young people’s service within Northern Ireland in a fun, interactive, interesting and an ability appropriate manner.
- To support the project participants to play an active role in the design and implementation of a programme of monthly activities for adopted young people. Sustaining and developing a monthly social hub, supporting the development of basic life-skills, and preparation for opportunities in further education, training, employment.
- To support a Youth Advisory Group (YAG) in its role to enable adopted young people to steer the Banter Project while developing skills which promote independence, personal development, social and life skills, leadership, and community involvement.
- To organise and supervise the work of the Youth Services Support Worker to deliver the Banter Project.
- To provide opportunities to connect with, and signpost to, relevant services, particularly those who work with care experienced young people.
- To develop and implement robust monitoring and evaluation to review individual goals, track progress and impact, via data and analysis of outcomes to assess effectiveness and areas for improvement.
- To record service activity using the electronic data management systems to collate in preparation for reporting and learning opportunities.
- To gather output and outcome data from the Banter Project service in accordance with the quality assurance systems within AUK.
- Work with other staff members to deliver a high-quality project for our adopted young people and their adoptive parents. Work as part of a team to contribute to a positive work environment and shared goals.
- To attend internal and external training/meetings as appropriate, to remain connected with broader adoption issues, relevant policies, working practices, and network with other youth work providers in Northern Ireland.

About the Role
As an Independent Domestic & Sexual Violence Advocate you will provide pro-active, high quality, frontline service to victims of domestic and sexual abuse through on-going risk assessment, providing individual safety planning, trauma-informed support, guidance, information, and advocacy and enabling victim/survivors to access the services they need in the aftermath of the abuse and trauma they have experienced.
You will work within a hospital setting to support both patients and staff. You will make initial contact with victims of domestic and sexual abuse, explaining our services and assessing the impact of crime, or receive referrals from colleagues, in order to provide on-going support and case management. Support could include empowering the client to report to the police, accessing Sexual Assault Referral Centre (SARC) services, and specialist support such as pretrial therapy and sexual violence counselling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess risks and needs using evidence-based checklists.
- Focus on high-risk cases with short to medium-term crisis intervention.
- Assist high-risk victims in accessing safety services.
- Deliver tailored support and information.
- Understand legal frameworks for protecting children and vulnerable adults.
- Provide advocacy on legal, housing, health, and financial options.
- Empower clients to recognize domestic abuse dynamics.
- Participate in Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conferences (MARAC).
- Work with a team to deliver respectful, dignified, and sensitive services.
- Maintain accurate and confidential case records.
- Comply with data protection laws and organizational policies.
- Stay updated with procedures, policies, and professional codes.
About You:
Ideally, you will have knowledge about legal remedies for domestic abuse victims and have experience working with drug, alcohol, and mental health issues. An understanding of benefits, housing, and homelessness would also be beneficial.
You will need:

- Demonstrate proficiency in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience in statutory, voluntary, or multi-agency settings.

About the Role

Background Information and Purpose of Post

You will support the IGC Team Manager and Fundraising Manager to deliver HI UK’s individual giving strategy by developing and running our digital fundraising activities.
The purpose of the post is to:
· Focus on increasing overall digital fundraising income year on year.
· Lead the development of HI UK’s digital fundraising activities, focusing on email marketing and paid advertising while testing and developing new income streams.
· Maximise engagement, conversion, retention and giving levels of digital supporters.
· Produce engaging content for use across digital channels.
· Monitor, analyse and report on key performance indicators to evaluate digital marketing.
· Ensure that our donors and supporters are at the heart of everything we do and provide them with a first-class experience.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Email marketing
· Create high-quality, timely and inspiring emails for HI UK’s donors and supporters every week, to increase income and engagement.
· Develop and launch multichannel emergency fundraising appeals at short notice to maximise fundraising income and supporter awareness.
· Develop and maintain email marketing automation programmes to improve supporter experience.
Paid media
· Work with our digital agency to optimise the ROI of our Search Engine Advertising (SEA) on Google and Bing.
· Develop and test new Social Media Advertising campaigns to support fundraising objectives.
· Develop and test new paid media activities to enhance fundraising campaigns.
· Develop and implement multichannel digital fundraising campaigns, working with the Fundraising Manager.
Content creation and website
· Design and produce creative content including video and images for use across digital fundraising and supporter engagement activities.
· Increase the impact of our organic social media content, particularly on Instagram and TikTok.
· Improve the HI UK website as a tool for fundraising and supporter engagement, focusing on the creation and development of appeal landing pages, donation forms, and supporter actions.
· Increase volume and quality of organic traffic to HI UK’s website through Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
Cross cutting
· Maintain detailed reporting on key performance indicators for digital marketing, to evaluate performance, make improvements and identify tests.
· Test and improve key supporter journeys across HI UK’s digital channels to increase income, conversion rate and engagement.
· Increase the integration of HI UK’s existing digital tools and databases through automation.
· Work collaboratively with colleagues in the IGC team to improve digital activities in their areas of responsibility, including legacy fundraising, acquisition, loyalty, supporter care, and media outreach.
Other responsibilities
· Maintain a positive working relationship with the marketing teams in HI Federation and National Associations, participating in digital working groups and feeding into digital transformation projects as required.
· Ensure HI brand guidelines and organisational values are respected in all digital marketing activities.
· Manage relationships with relevant suppliers and consultants.
· Represent the organisation at relevant external events and meetings.
· Keep up to date and adhere with any changes in legislation, regulatory procedures, innovation, best practice and industry standards in relation to digital fundraising.

As an Enhanced Support Worker you will support vulnerable people living in a variety of different tenures to manage their tenancies/ licences and move towards greater independence within the community, by providing flexible and individually tailored support.
The working pattern involves a set five-week rolling rota covering early, late, and weekend shifts. Shift times: Early: 8am-4pm. Late: 2:30pm-10:30pm. The service operates 24 hours 7 days a week.

As a Support Worker you will be expected to undertake duties and work as part of the staff team to support customers with daily support to achieve personal goals by using person centred approach.
What you'll do:
* Work proactively with the team to handle the service caseload and support an effective team approach to meeting each customer's identified needs.
* Contribute to a positive service environment, ensuring the service is supportive and a place of safety and stability for customers. This includes working flexibly and being proactively in delivering, reviewing and arranging effective support for emerging needs and risks in order to prevent escalating concerns.

The opportunity
We are recruiting two part-time Project Officers to support the Together for Tomorrow Project, a five-year National Lottery-funded programme supporting grassroots climate action across Devon. Working in close partnership with Libraries Unlimited, you will support delivery to new and established grassroots groups who are working, or seek to work, with libraries, helping communities to develop practical climate initiatives and inspiring libraries to become active sustainability hubs.
You will support the creation of toolkits, training and new activities, while also supporting monitoring and reporting. The role blends hands-on delivery and behind the scenes support to groups.
This role sits within the CAG (Community Action Groups) Devon team, a network that supports community groups to take action on reuse, repair, food waste, composting, biodiversity and wider sustainability issues. CAG provides the tools and support that groups need to thrive, including training, resources, and opportunities to connect with others. Your role will contribute to the consolidation of the network and its membership across Devon.
The role can be worked flexibly across 3 days a week. This will include some work during evenings and weekends.
You will be expected to travel widely across Devon, and this will be reimbursed. Whilst we promote public transport where possible, due to the rural nature of the county a current full driving licence with own transport, and necessary business use insurance, or ability to travel easily around Devon County is required.
What you will be doing
Day to day project support
· Helping groups run initiatives and activities at libraries, and at other community spaces, supporting with event planning and engaging diverse audiences.
· Supporting groups to set up and get started, or to develop new activities.
· Responding to enquiries from CAG groups and other organisations.
· Co-ordinating training and events.
· Attending CAG events and planning meetings.
· Building and maintaining partnerships with grassroots groups, libraries and underrepresented communities.
· Assisting with group and event risk assessments, insurance documents, safeguarding policies and other related administration.
· Creation and dissemination of guides and resources to support the projects.
Publicity and communications
· Generating content and building online audiences for social media and CAG Devon’s regular newsletter.
· Assisting groups with effective publicity for their events, including 1-2-1 social media clinics.
· Producing publicity material, news releases, stories/case studies and articles relating to the Together for Tomorrow Project.
· Speaking in public about the Together for Tomorrow Project, CAG Devon and the work of its members.
· Working with the CAG team to promote and deliver events.
· Liaising with the wider CAG team to ensure a coherent CAG support offer to grassroots community groups across Devon.
· Working with the Library Unlimited Outreach Officers to promote events.
Administration
· Liaising with and supporting groups, and gathering documentation, as part of the membership joining process.
· Logging communications with groups and partners in the CAG database.
· Keeping mailing lists and database up to date.
· Monitoring projects, utilising tools such as Excel, SurveyMonkey and the CAG data collection tool.
· Supporting with quarterly and annual reporting.
· Assisting the project team with any other administrative tasks that they require.
· Supporting groups to use the CAG data collection tool, to help them demonstrate their impact.
· Collecting data and testimonials/stories from CAG groups and the general public.

About the role:

About the Service
Children and young people who are looked after don’t always have a trusted adult that they can rely upon for support, with many young people not having someone that they can talk to or trust.
Our independent visitor service provides looked after children and young people with an adult volunteer who spends time with them, offering support and friendship whilst being a positive role model to enable young people to build on their confidence and self-esteem, whilst helping learn new skills and raise their aspirations.
The Vacancy
We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic IV Coordinator, to work 28 hours per week who will be responsible for the day to day running of the independent visitor service.
You will be responsible for managing and developing a pool of volunteers which includes the recruitment, training, and induction of new volunteers to become volunteer independent visitors, before matching them with a young person who has been referred to the service.
You will provide continuous support to volunteers to ensure that the service is being delivered to a high standard, and that children and young people are safeguarded at all times.
You will also be responsible for monitoring volunteer visits, budgets and ensuring that risk assessments are undertaken as required, whilst acting as a link between NYAS and the local authority by liaising with social workers, carers and other professionals.

Contract
Permanent, 35 hours per week (shift rotas). We are open to part-time options.
Salary
£29,172 per annum at Level 3 qualified
£28,110.18 per annum at Level 2 qualified

There are not enough homes for children and as a result they are too often being sent to live many miles away from anyone they know or anywhere they recognise. Added to this, 85% of children’s homes in England are privately run often for profit.
To address this, the Department for Education, alongside local authorities, are encouraging not-for-profit providers to open children’s homes in communities where there is genuine need.

CCP, in partnership with Swindon Borough Council, is opening a new children’s home for two local children, and we are looking for a Children’s Home Registered Manager to lead this exciting project. This is a great opportunity to shape the home from the beginning, ensuring that is person-centred, trauma-informed, and committed to providing outstanding care. We have over 35 years’ experience delivering high-quality services, and we will be building on our 3 supported accommodation registrations to help ensure that children who need care in Swindon have a home locally.
We are seeking a leader who can provide a safe, stable, and supportive environment where children are valued and cared for. You will be backed by a strong Senior Leadership Team and a Responsible Person, who are motivated for the right reasons and will give you the guidance and resources to make the home a success.
As the Registered Manager, you will:
- Deliver high-quality, solution-focused care in line with Ofsted’s Quality Standards.
- Ensure the home is a stable and nurturing environment that enables children to achieve better futures.
- Lead, motivate, and support a dedicated team of staff.
- Work collaboratively with children, their families, and external professionals.
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience working with children, young people, and families.
- Knowledge of Ofsted regulations and a proven ability to lead a team.
- A relevant Health and Social Care qualification and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- A full UK driving licence and access to their own transport, due to the location of the home.

^Annual Leave entitlement will be pro-rata for Part-time staff. Working on public holidays due to a rota pattern will be compensated with time off in lieu. An extra day of leave accrues for each completed financial year (capped at 5). Purchasing additional holidays is capped at 5 per year.
^^Contracted staff only. Business mileage (45p a mile) is paid for any daily miles over and above the distance from your home to the allocated workplace location and back. You'll need a well-maintained vehicle with valid tax, MOT and Insurance covering business use.
