Oaklands & St Kilda is a pair of 6 unit supported accommodation mental health rehab services working with young people between the ages of 18-25 who may have experienced a mental health related hospital admission to gain and develop skills for future independent living. The service will support individuals transitioning from Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services to Adult services.
This role is set for 9-month, ending on 12 January 2026, with the possibility of extension.
The Specialist Support Worker role involves early shifts (8:00-16:00) and late shifts (14:00-22:00) throughout the week, including some weekends each month.

The Service Manager will be responsible for the operations of a group of three specialist services, which support a total of seven customers with moderate to high support needs to live in their own homes. You’ll help us make sure that fundraising for The AAT is a life-affirming and joyful experience.
Our small team are fully remote across the country. You’ll be based on your own in our small office/post room in Birmingham with regular face-to-face meetings with your manager (who lives locally). You’ll keep in touch with the rest of the team via Microsoft Teams.
The first line of support
As a small charity representing an ultra rare condition, the people we support and the people who support us through fundraising are often one and the same.
You’ll sit within the fundraising team, but your role spans the organisation, and you’ll also deliver essential administration support for our Support Team.
The Aplastic Anaemia Trust is the only charity who publish information about aplastic anaemia for patients and families. You will post booklets to patients and to hospitals, heading to the post office twice a week to fulfil orders. You’ll also support our volunteer moderators to administer the Patient Support Facebook Group.

Specialist Support Workers help to enable vulnerable customers living at the scheme to manage their tenancies, mental/ physical health and wellbeing and assist them to move to social housing within the community.

What you'll do:
* Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Manager
* Conducting regular flat checks and medication spot checks.
* Undertake initial and continuous assessment of needs and potential risks and agree levels of support and actions
* Create support plans / risk assessment plans for providing appropriate services based on the assessment and reflecting the services and resources available
* Support customers to access local activities and services to maintain and improve health and well-being, avoid hospital admission, support to access and maximise welfare benefits

About the Service
Specialist Family Support worker role delivers additional service and adds value to our accommodation service provision across Islington, Haringey and Enfield. Project delivers internally developed programme called STAR (Supporting Trauma Awareness and Resilience) to mothers, children and young people in their respective groups through out the week. Programme provides safe and confidential space to unpack experiences of trauma and abuse while developing new strategies, build resilience and healing through growing hearts and minds with the aim to strengthens relationships between mother and children after experiences of abuse.
About the Role
Main part of the role is delivering STAR programme to mother and children in their respective groups as well as planning meaningful activities and trips during half term times. Role is delivered in person through co-location in all three Haringey safe accommodations. Mother’s programme is delivered twice per week during day time while children component of the programme is delivered weekly in the afternoons between 3:45pm-5:30pm in each house. This role provides holistic support through ongoing feedback collection and identifications of important themes and topic which are developed further to best support our families as well as developing meaningful partnerships with community networks.

Richmond Borough Mind is a vibrant local charity that has been supporting and providing services for adults affected by mental health problems and their carers for over 60 years.
We are excited to be looking for a Young Adults Peer Support Worker. You will have your own lived experience of mental ill health and be able to use this experience as well as your professional skills and knowledge, to support others.
With the expansion of our work in this area we aim to reduce waiting times, reduce the number of people going into crisis, address inequalities and support transitions from youth to adult services. We will be offering holistic and personalised care and support to service users and carers.
This role will carry caseload and deliver a range of support and person-centred interventions to meet these needs, which could include group support, one-to-one interventions and signposting where specialist advice is needed. Referrals could be young adults, careleavers, people currently under adult mental health services, or carers supporting people in the community.
We are looking for individuals who are passionate about motivating and coaching individuals with mental health issues, and able to support people on their journey to recovery. As well as having an empathy with the core values of RB Mind, the successful applicants will have the skills to provide person-centred support, through one-to-one sessions and through facilitating groups. You will have an awareness of the boundaries we work within when supporting vulnerable adults. You should be enthusiastic and self-motivated, and must be able to work on your own initiative.
