A Support Worker will help to enable vulnerable people with complex support needs to manage their licences and move towards greater independence within the community by providing a flexible and individually tailored support package.
This role will be based at for Pound Lane, which is a high complex needs 24-hour service with same shift pattern.
The working pattern for this role is: - 5 days a week, working over a seven day pattern, weekends included. Shift pattern 8am-4am and late shift 1.30pm-9.30pm
What you'll do:
* Undertake key-working responsibilities for a caseload assigned by the Team Leader / Manager
* Oversee the daily running of the service ensuring all health and safety responsibilities are met
* Raise safeguarding alerts and complete incident reports within specified timeframe
* Undertake initial and continuous assessment of needs and potential risks and agree levels of support and actions
* Create support/action plans for providing appropriate support based on the assessment and reflecting the services and resources available
* Support customers to undertake domestic tasks wherever possible, including practical assistance where they have not yet developed the skills, to ensure customers enjoy a high quality of living standards
* Support customers to move on from the service through their identified move on pathway liaising with our Resettlement Officer and Brent Housing team.

Job Purpose
Carers Manchester Contact Point (CMCP) is the first point of contact for unpaid carers seeking information, advice and support to help them with their caring role.
The service delivers a free confidential helpline for carers Monday to Friday. Helpline opening times are subject to change, based on the needs and requirements of carers using the service.
The aim of this role is to be part of a team providing a comprehensive information, advice and support to carers in Manchester. The post holder will work alongside colleagues from Gaddum and potentially other organisations to be the first contact in a busy service providing advice via a telephone advice line and managing referrals made through digital sources. They will provide information and advice and refer more complex issues to the appropriate agencies delivering the Manchester Carers Pathway.
Key responsibilities
Advice giving
· Answering telephone calls into a central helpline offering support and guidance to unpaid carers in Manchester.
· Provide relevant and meaningful support and information to unpaid carers utilising internal and external resources.
· Inform carers about carers assessments and refer where necessary.
· Inform carers about emergency grants available and refer where necessary.
· Ensure all advice and support given is delivered in a timely manner to suit the needs of carers calling the helpline whilst balancing waiting callers.
Follow-up support
· Refer unpaid carers to local services to access local and culturally appropriate support in their area.
· Refer carers to Adult Social Care for Carers Assessments to discuss and improve their caring situation.
· Signpost carers to relevant services in Manchester suited to their individual need.
· Complete relevant grant applications for carers using the service where needed.
· Use Carers Manchester Contact Point and other reliable and accurate resources to find, interpret and communicate relevant information to carers
· Research and explore options and implications so that carers can make informed decisions.
· Write and maintain detailed case records for all casework completed.
· Collect required data for statistical monitoring and report preparation.
· Complete the required training to comply with quality assurance processes.
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS Check.
The post-holder will be required to undertake other tasks as reasonably directed by the CMCP Coordinator, which will usually be commensurate with the skills and experience of the post-holder.

The Senior Housing Advisor at SSAFA’s Glasgow’s Helping Heroes (GHH) leads the delivery of high‑quality, person‑centred housing and homelessness support for members of the Armed Forces community at risk of homelessness. The postholder provides professional oversight of housing advice, casework and tenancy sustainment, setting clear standards for inclusive practice and addressing barriers to housing.
The role involves supporting triage, allocating and monitoring caseloads, and guiding staff on complex and high‑risk cases. Alongside holding a caseload, the postholder focuses on quality assurance, escalation, problem‑solving and service development.
The postholder will oversee the use of rent deposit, first‑month rent and emergency accommodation funding, ensuring fair and transparent decision‑making, and contributes to tenancy sustainment outcomes, service planning and reporting. This role combines leadership with operational oversight, supporting staff development, safeguarding and data quality while playing a key role in preventing homelessness and supporting veterans to secure and sustain safe housing.
This is a community‑based role involving citywide travel, outreach work and home visits, requiring flexibility to respond to urgent or changing needs.
As a pet‑friendly service, GHH regularly supports beneficiaries who may have assistance or support animals.
About the Team
GHH, based at the Pearce Institute in Govan and delivered in partnership with SSAFA and Glasgow City Council, provides trusted support to serving personnel, veterans, and their families. Our trauma‑informed, holistic approach offers wraparound assistance that addresses housing needs alongside wider wellbeing challenges, helping beneficiaries build resilience and sustain long‑term housing solutions.
The service operates a gateway model, giving the Armed Forces community a single point of contact for housing, financial, employability and wider support.
You’ll be part of a highly collaborative network, working closely with local and national partners such as Citizens Advice Scotland, Veterans Housing Scotland, Erskine, Scottish Veterans Residences, Defence Medical Welfare Services, Homeless Casework Teams and Homeless Network Scotland. The role also involves attending stakeholder events that may occasionally fall outside of standard office hours.
About you
You’ll be a proactive, organised and compassionate professional, with the resilience and judgement needed to thrive in a demanding, community‑focused role. You’ll have a clear commitment to improving outcomes for members of the Armed Forces community and a strong sense of integrity as priorities and demands change.
You’ll be confident managing your own workload while supporting and overseeing the work of others, creating a safe, supportive and accountable working environment. Job Summary
The role of the Outreach & Development Worker is to ensure carers of all ages and backgrounds are aware of their rights and know how to receive support from Gaddum and other services they need at the right time for them.
The job holder will provide outreach & support sessions, deliver groups and events for carers and other relevant partners across Salford. Creating exciting new opportunities for carers through networking and building partnerships.
Job Purpose
The role will focus on the outreach provision, being based in different locations across Salford including hospitals, community venues, mental health settings and others accessed by people with caring responsibilities. The role will include supporting the continued development of the service, assisting with the creation of resources and training. The role will also support our involvement offer; ensuring carers are at the forefront of service change and service delivery.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Day to day duties:
· Facilitate carers drop-ins in venues across Salford, including but not limited to hospital sites (both on wards and public areas), community venues (such as Gateways) and high footfall locations.
· Provide one-off, solution-focussed appointments to address the immediate needs of carers identified in the community or at the point of referral.
· Create networking opportunities throughout all wards of Salford to publicise the service and build/ maintain relevant partnerships.
· Complete Statutory Carers Assessments.
· To be able to travel to various locations in Salford, at times multiple locations per day – often carrying service promotional materials. Salford is a large city covering 37 sq. miles.
Weekly/ monthly duties:
· To work alongside student social workers on placement, providing mentoring, guidance, and shadowing opportunities as appropriate.
· Create and run exciting events and support groups for carers, organisations and stakeholders to attend.
· Create and deliver service presentations aimed at carers, to communicate the support and opportunities available from the service.
· Create and deliver service presentations aimed at community groups, educational bodies and organisations to raise awareness of how to identify and support carers, and to increase the visibility of the service.
· Develop ways to identify carers across Salford and let them know about support available to them and their needs.
· Invite Carers to be involved with the service and help us to coproduce/ codesign our service offer.
· Get to know Salford’s diverse communities and organisations, providing culturally appropriate information and support.
· Promote Carers Rights to carers, Salford’s communities and relevant organisations.
· Maintain a clear record of work completed by note taking and recording on our recording system.
· To meet regularly with line manager for supervision.

The Bexley SASS team provides advocacy and support to survivors of domestic and sexual abuse living in Bexley. An exciting opportunity has arisen in this busy team for an IDVA (Adult Social Care). We provide a package of support covering crisis intervention, risk assessment, safety planning, assessment of needs and individual support planning.
About the Role
As an IDVA (Adult Social Care), you provide specialist, proactive support to survivors of domestic abuse who are at high risk of harm. You will work with individuals who have current or previous involvement with Adult Social Care, including those facing additional barriers to support. You will manage a caseload of around 30 clients, working closely with partner agencies including Police, Children's Social Care, and MARAC.
Working alongside Adult Social Care’s frontline triage team, you will offer guidance where domestic abuse is identified and deliver training to staff to build awareness and understanding of domestic abuse and its impact.
About You
You have a thorough understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on women and children, alongside experience of providing emotional and practical support and strong casework management skills.
You have the skills to provide effective crisis intervention, carry out risk assessments, safety planning, and individual support planning, with demonstrable experience in an IDVA or similar role with this client group.
High organised, self-motivated, and passionate about ending gender-based violence. You bring a “can-do” approach and demonstrable commitment to Solace’s feminist approach to supporting women and their children to be safer.

Working as part of a dynamic and highly successful outreach team, you will build positive relationships with people experiencing homelessness, carrying out assessments and developing personalised reconnection plans. You will work closely with local authorities, support providers, health services and community organisations to help individuals access accommodation, reconnect with family and support networks where appropriate and secure sustainable routes away from rough sleeping and a harmful street lifestyle.
In this role you will:
- Undertake assertive outreach across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, engaging with people sleeping rough and carrying out comprehensive assessments.
- Develop and coordinate personalised reconnection plans, including arranging accommodation, travel, family mediation and access to support services.
- Work closely with local authorities, statutory services, health providers and community organisations to achieve positive outcomes for clients.
- Manage a caseload of clients, maintaining accurate records and monitoring progress towards sustainable reconnection.
- Support clients to access welfare benefits, healthcare, substance misuse services and other support that will assist them in moving away from homelessness.
This role involves working early mornings, evenings and weekends as part of a rota.

Oasis Nurture
Oasis Nurture is a project that is carried out on the Village. It is a therapeutic intervention designed specifically for those children who might be described as the missing middle – those who do not meet the threshold for an ECHP but who nevertheless struggle to engage with the curriculum for a variety of reasons.
Oasis Nurture is just completing its pilot phase, working with four local schools, offering a two day a week intervention to a small group of children.
As the Clinical Lead, you will ensure the highest standards of therapeutic care, support a team of dedicated practitioners and teachers and collaborate with schools, social services, and mental health agencies to create a wraparound support system for children.
The Role
In this role you will be:
· Providing clinical leadership and case management expertise
· Holding and managing a small caseload of complex therapy cases, providing direct intervention where needed.
· Supervising the team and leading reflective practice
· Fostering a culture of collaboration, curiosity, and kindness within the team.
· Ensuring programme excellence & development, working alongside the leadership team to refine therapeutic models, policies, and safeguarding protocols.
· Ensuring all practice is evidence-based, inclusive, and child-centred.
· Managing data and outcomes, evaluating and reporting impact
Oasis Nurture is not an Alternative Provision; it is a part time intervention designed to support local schools and children and their families.

Location: Based in the Redbridge area. The service is approximately a 15 minute walk from Gants Hill Underground Station (Central Line). About the Role
We're hiring a Senior Support Coach to join our team based within a Men's Project in Redbridge. In this role, you will support residents who may be facing challenges with complex mental health needs, ideally within criminal justice, forensic or secure services
As a Senior Support Coach, you will play a pivotal role within the service, as a point of contact, providing advice and guidance to the wider team in support of the management team, and to residents. You will be based within our Offender Personality Disorder Housing Accommodation and Support Service (OPD HASS). The service provides specialist, structured support to high risk and high need men who have recently left the criminal justice system.
The service provides specialist support to help overcome personal barriers to resettlement, reducing the risk of re-offending and supports residents towards independent living. You will deliver flexible, responsive, and person centred support to residents. This is a highly rewarding opportunity to lead by example and positively influence the recovery journeys of individuals with complex needs, including personality disorders and offending backgrounds. Key Responsibilities Include:
- Support residents who may be facing challenges with complex mental health needs, ideally within criminal justice, forensic or secure services

About You
We're looking for a individual who understands the needs of our residents along with experience supporting individuals with complex needs. You will be confident working in challenging environments and able to balance empathy with professional boundaries. You will be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, and will have alignment with our SIG values. You will be keen to support our residents to achieve their individual goals and support them to be the best versions of themselves.
- Previous professional or lived experience supporting people who have complex mental health needs, including those within criminal justice, forensic, secure, housing, or social care settings, and individuals with personality disorders (OPD Pathway).
- Ability to engage with people from different backgrounds, build rapport, and develop therapeutic, motivational relationships that empower individuals to achieve their personal goals
- Ability to show empathy and compassion, using an empathetic, motivational, and empowering approach, with an understanding of trauma-informed care and the challenges faced by vulnerable and marginalised adults.
- Ability and willingness to show flexibility and adaptability in working patterns, responding to the needs of the service and residents, including crisis intervention and de-escalation of conflict.
- Ability to use, learn and adapt to IT at an intermediate level, including Microsoft and other software programs
- Understanding of the different needs of people with multiple and complex needs, including safeguarding, risk management, housing related support, and awareness of social marginalisation.

The Role:

The Candidate:

Proven track record of raising multiple 6 figure gifts in one year (£100K plus) from Trusts, Foundations, lottery or public bodies, and demonstrable experience of meeting financial income targets.

Working closely with the prison and their staff, people in prison, Shannon Trust volunteers and mentors, this post will lead the delivery and development of our prison-based reading and numeracy programme, maximising opportunities for people in prison to learn to read.
