We are looking for a passionate and dedicated individual to join the Royal British Legion as a Poppy Appeal Manager for Cheshire. Summary

The Education and Growing Faith department is looking to hire a Senior Programme Officer to support the church schools and the wider education sector. Working in the Operations Team, you'll be directly supporting the Head of Operations with project work and the wider NSE with system and process support. The National Society for Education (NSE) is both an NCI and a Royal-charter charity. It's aims are to support Church schools and the wider education sector by developing leaders, shaping policy and growing faith.

The NSE leads the Church of England's national work in education in partnership with 41 Diocesan Boards of Education and approximately 4,700 Church of England schools. We also support the national education work of the Church in Wales, which includes around 150 schools. What you'll be doing

The purpose of this role is to:

• Support the Head of Operations with policy development and reviews.

The Fundraising Manager is expected to be an integral part of the leadership team to manage the delivery of the Fundraising strategy.

• To work with the Fundraising Team to develop and deliver Halton Haven Hospice’s community engagement.  To achieve this by identifying, prospecting, supporting and facilitating the development of volunteer networks, individuals, businesses and fundraising groups across the Hospice’s area.

About the role:

This role is based in Rochdale Police station along with some hybrid working, you must be prepared to travel across the borough of Rochdale.

As a IDVA you will deliver specialist and enhanced support to victims/survivors who have experienced Domestic Violence Abuse. You will be responsible for providing high quality interventions through the development of individually tailored & risk assessed support and safety plans.

You will need:

• To conduct comprehensive needs and risk assessments and ensure each victim/survivor receives an individual tailored support package that fully meets their identified needs, including safety planning, advocacy, emotional and practical support.
• To Provide one to one support to victim/survivor who has been affected by domestic abuse.
• The ability to review the assessment of risk on an ongoing basis, ensuring appropriate and immediate action is taken in respect of any victim/survivor facing significant harm, making the necessary referrals to MARAC and local safeguarding processes as required given the legal framework relating to the protection of children and the policy and procedures of the Local Safeguarding Children's Board.
• To establish links with relevant statutory partners in Social Care, Education, Health, Police and Housing, with the intention of supporting children and young people who have been impacted by domestic abuse. Attend meetings as required.
• Ideally a background in Social Worker, Police or Domestic Abuse would be advantageous

React is a small, well regarded, charity that was established in 1989.  It provides Rapid Effective Assistance to Children with Potentially Terminal illness.

React works to give children comfort, dignity and where possible, greater independence. 

We supply essential equipment that is not available through the NHS or local authority, from specialist wheelchairs, beds, baths and mobility aids to essential everyday homecare items like pushchairs and domestic appliances.

We also provide our families with holidays and the opportunity to create special memories at our mobile homes situated across the UK. 

Since the pandemic we have moved to a fully remote / home based working model.

The Role

We are seeking a passionate, creative and innovative fundraising professional with a history of successful income generation and fundraising development.

Location  

Although home based, the Head of Development & Partnerships will be expected to meet from time to time with major fundraisers and donors, which may occur in person or online.
