About the position
This is an exciting opportunity to create change at scale, informing and promoting a practical transition to plant-based diets, in order to reduce the number of animals suffering in factory farms. Part of our Farmed Animal Campaigns team, the role will work to increase the quality and availability of plant-based options with major caterers and universities in the UK, impacting hundreds of thousands of meals daily.
This role also includes an opportunity to support the delivery of a campaign to end the use of farrowing crates, one of the worst forms of cruelty to farmed animals in the UK today. In this role you will support the Senior Manager for Farmed Animal Campaigns to create public-facing campaign assets, and develop compelling research to underpin our policy and industry engagement.

About the role

The Project Officer (Strategic Data and Measurement Analyst) is an important new role at the Diocese, as you will provide a comprehensive understanding of our data sets to afford context and insight to the Deaneries, parishes and the Diocese which will help develop projects and programmes to drive growth in church attendance.
As Project Officer, you will develop a comprehensive understanding of all types of datasets available within the Diocese, including demographic data, attendance records, retention statistics and financial records, whilst identifying and implementing appropriate tools and methodologies for collecting and analysing new data insights.
An integral member of the Strategy Team and reporting to the Strategic Programme Manager, you will lead data analysis work for projects as needed, providing statistical expertise and composing narrative insights for project reports to inform decision making, support funding cases and investment requests.
Acting as a point of contact between the project office and other stakeholders, you will provide coordination and support as needed to ensure the smooth implementation of projects. You will also assist with scheduling meetings, preparing agendas and documenting minutes, ensuring timely progress and effective communication within the team and with external partners.
In addition, you will represent the Strategic Programme Manager at project reviews, contributing to discussions and decision-making processes as needed.
Educated to degree level in a related subject or with equivalent experience, you should have familiarity with a variety of ways of presenting complex data clearly and be able to manage and organise a range of datasets from multiple sources to enable analysis, presentation and the identification of synergies.
Your enquiring mind and careful approach to manipulating and mining data to create insights and information, along with your ability to interpret data through an understanding of the project’s context, will ensure you are able to frame the questions that matter.
A high degree of IT literacy including use of Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools and a working knowledge of databases, along with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills and a creative ability to deliver insights in clear and accessible written, verbal and visual media formats are essential.

Do you have experience of running successful projects in different countries and/or across cultural boundaries? Do you have experience of working across teams and managing complex multi-stakeholder projects?
We are looking for an International Programme Manager to oversee Students’ Union UCL’s cultural celebrations programme, including expanding and developing our annual flagship International Festival. They will lead on the development and delivery of new projects including a series of international volunteering opportunities and the launch of the Union’s UK Visits programme, enabling UCL’s student community to develop skills that will complement their studies and make cross-cultural friendships. The International Programme Manager will also work with the Head of Intercultural Engagement to create new and develop existing relationships with overseas partners, creating opportunities for students to gain life changing experiences through co-curricular activities. The post holder will be central to driving forward an exciting programme of activity that fosters personal growth, connection, and community through extraordinary intercultural experiences.

Freshwater Habitats Trust is a national wildlife conservation charity that’s dedicated to reversing the decline in freshwater biodiversity. For more than 35 years, we’ve been protecting and restoring the whole freshwater environment, but with a particular focus on small waterbodies, which have been traditionally undervalued despite their importance for wildlife.
We’re looking for a talented and experienced writer and content creator to share our passion for freshwater. The Content Officer will create high-quality, on-brand written, visual, and video content to share our scientific research and practical conservation work across our website, social media, and other platforms.
You’ll work with our growing team to help us communicate our strategy of building the Freshwater Network - a national network of wilder, wetter, cleaner, connected habitats to reverse the decline in freshwater biodiversity.
