What does this role do?
As an Internal Communications Lead, you will:
- lead the development and delivery of an exciting, clear, engaging internal communications strategy and plan that aligns with organisational priorities and operational plans whilst building a consistent brand experience across our touchpoints,
- lead and inspire a team of internal communications professionals, fostering creativity, storytelling and high performance,
- build strong relationships with senior leaders and key stakeholders, ensuring consistent, effective messaging across the organisation that tells the story of our people and dogs, our plans and the ways we work,
- oversee the creation and delivery of high-quality, audience-focused inspiring and compelling content across a range of internal channels and formats,
- drive continuous improvement through effective measurement, insight and innovation,
- lead on internal communications during times of crisis or serious issues affecting our staff.

With the support of the Greater London Authority (GLA), Smart Works is about to begin an innovative employment project to connect underrepresented women across London with high-quality job opportunities. Over the next 12 months, this project will place women directly into good work within priority sectors, whilst also helping employers build more inclusive recruitment pipelines and practices.
The Employer Engagement Manager will be central to the success of this project. Reporting to the Head of Programmes, they will lead on employer engagement and job brokerage for Smart Works. About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Legacy professional with a good understanding of charity legacy administration, to assist Macmillan in receiving its rightful entitlements from gifts in supporters' wills in a timely manner, by collaborating with executors and other charities to maximize the value of each gift whilst also aiming to enhance the charity's reputation.
The postholder will manage pecuniary and lower-risk residuary gifts, ensuring executors, family, and friends have a positive experience with Macmillan as a beneficiary. Responsibilities include accurately recording data, creating valuations per the Charity Commission’s SORP 2019 and Macmillan’s Legacy Income Recognition Policy, and assessing any conditions on gift usage. Communication with executors and co-beneficiaries will occur via letters, emails, and phone calls. Additionally, you will gather stories to promote legacy giving and adhere to all data protection laws.
About you
We’re looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
- Understanding of Charity Legacy Administration and/or Estate Administration within private practice and/or have done electives in Probate as part of a law degree or Graduate Diploma in Law.
- Written and verbal communication skills including a confident and welcoming telephone manner.
- Relationship building skills.
- Knowledge of data protection law.
- Technology Skills, including working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.

About the role
Working across the Crisis teams in London, you will lead on the delivery of our volunteer programme. About Quest for Learning
Quest for Learning is an education charity on a mission to close the gap for primary school children in Oxfordshire who are falling behind - often due to complex and compounding disadvantage. Many of the children we support are growing up in poverty, with limited access to books, low parental literacy, and challenging home environments. Some face health inequalities, live in areas affected by crime, or have recently arrived in the UK as refugees or asylum seekers.
We work closely with schools to provide targeted, high-impact literacy and numeracy programmes that give these children the chance to catch up, thrive, and believe in their potential. On average, our small-group tutoring helps pupils make 13 months of progress in just 10 hours - building not only essential skills, but also confidence, motivation, and a renewed sense of possibility.

Role Purpose
This is a hands-on and outward-facing role for a confident, capable fundraiser ready to lead Quest for Learning’s income generation efforts. As our sole dedicated fundraiser, you’ll take ownership of securing income across a broad mix of streams - including trusts and foundations, community fundraising, individual giving, and corporate partnerships.
You’ll be out and about representing the charity, building relationships with local businesses, community groups, and supporters, and bringing our mission to life with energy and clarity. You'll need to be a proactive self-starter who enjoys meeting people, thrives in a varied role, and is motivated by delivering results that improve life chances for disadvantaged children.
This is a busy and varied role which often involves working on multiple fundraising activities at once. A typical day could include working on an application to a new funder, designing a supporter newsletter, gathering information for an end of grant report, and researching new prospects.
This role would suit someone with experience of securing funding, managing funder relationships, and developing new opportunities - all with a focus on practical delivery. You’ll work closely with the CEO, leadership and programme teams, and our board of trustees to help grow a diverse and sustainable income base.

Trusts and foundations
- Research and identify prospective funders, building a robust pipeline

Handel Hendrix House care for and present to the public the homes of two of the greatest musicians to have ever lived in London: George Frideric Handel and Jimi Hendrix. This is a great opportunity to make an impact within as the interim Museum Commercial Manager. You will lead on all commercial activities at Handel Hendrix House delivering against targets for visits, retail and venue hire.
You will oversee the museum’s ticketing operations and merchandising offer, ensuring a seamless and welcoming visitor experience while maximising income through both admissions and retail sales.

AAFDA was founded by Frank Mullane in memory of his sister Julia Pemberton and her son Will who were both killed by her ex-partner in 2003.
Each year, around 150 families lose a loved one to domestic homicide. The actual number of suicides as a result of domestic abuse remains unknown. Most of these families suffer significant problems including relationship breakdown, job difficulties/loss and mental and physical health issues. We help these families in many ways, our prime function being to provide families in England and Wales with specialist peer support and expert and specialist advocacy for the range of statutory reviews that will take place after domestic homicide.
AAFDA (Advocacy After Fatal Domestic Abuse) is a growing Charity and to meet the demands of this growth, we are looking for exceptional candidates to join our team in a highly rewarding opportunity.
