About Us:
Keswick Town Council, acting as Fitz Park Trust, has recently announced plans to launch a fundraising campaign to support the creation of a brand-new, inclusive play area in Fitz Park, Keswick. The new play area will offer a modern, safe, and fun environment for children of all ages and abilities to engage in physical activity, imaginative play, and outdoor exploration.

Fitz Park is central to the town’s outdoor life, and is a one of the town’s most valued outdoor spaces, providing both locals and tourists with a beautiful area to enjoy nature, to play and take part in recreational activities.

We are looking for an exceptional individual to help us deliver the funds required to bring this project to life, seeking both public and corporate donations, applying for grants and leading on all communications regarding this project.

Role Overview:
As a Fundraiser, you will play a key role in driving the success of our fundraising efforts. You will be responsible for developing and executing fundraising campaigns, engaging with existing and potential donors, and ensuring we meet our financial targets for the duration of the contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and deliver fundraising campaigns to support key initiatives and projects.
• Build and maintain relationships with current and potential donors, sponsors, and partners.
• Research and identify new fundraising opportunities, including grant applications and corporate partnerships.
• Manage donor communication, ensuring they receive timely and impactful updates.
• Organise and attend events and activities to raise funds and increase brand awareness.

We’re looking for someone with proven experience of fundraising or a similar role, and of project management work. You will thrive on developing innovative fundraising ideas and campaigns.

Partnership Experience Manager (Maternity Cover)

Salary: £38,814 - £44,581 pro-rata (depending on experience and FTE)

Contract: 12 months fixed-term contract (Maternity Cover- might be potentially extended)

Location: This is currently a blended-working role with two in-office days (Tuesday-Thursday) during term time and the flexibility to work from home during school holidays. Occasional travel to schools and events will be required.

About the role

You will play a key role in driving the continuous improvement and growth of our national partnership through deepening the quality and impact of our local collaboration hubs. You will also oversee the day-to-day running of hubs of our schools and trusts, which includes holding responsibility for the operations of the Partnerships Team and working closely with the Partnership Lead to ensure that all hubs, schools and trusts have an excellent experience with Challenge Partners. 

You will also oversee the implementation of the organisation’s Account Management strategy, working closely with members of the Leadership Team  to implement our strategy for effective partnership experience (our term for account management and customer service) for our partner schools and trusts. This includes holding some key strategic relationships, representing the organisation at external meetings and overseeing partner experience operations.

Key Responsibilities

The Partnership Experience Manager will have the following key areas of responsibility and will be expected to undertake other responsibilities commensurate with the role as requested:

Strategic Leadership and Management  - Hub Quality and Impact

• Develop and lead our strategy to improve the quality and impact of Challenge Partners’ Hubs, continuing to develop high performing hubs and supporting rapid improvement in new and emerging hubs

• Deliver, grow and evaluate the impact of our hub-led programmes: Middle Leaders’ Quality Assurance Review and Leadership Residency Programme

• Oversee the continuous improvement of national Knowledge Exchange and Areas of Excellence

• Lead a Hub Quality and Impact team, including all central team hub owners and executive hub links, through providing clarity on the Hub Quality and Impact strategy and operations.

Strategic Leadership and Management - Partnership Experience and Communications

• Develop and lead the implementation of our Account Management strategy ensuring that accounts are given the attention needed to ensure a smooth experience and high satisfaction rates

• Oversee Customer Care processes across the organisation, guaranteeing that any issues are resolved in a professional and timely manner 

• Oversee whole partnership communications, including half termly partnership newsletters

• Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships (Senior Partners, Hub Managers, trust CEOs) with your allocated key accounts to ensure that regular dialogue with them informs the strategy and continuous improvement in our support of hub quality and partner experience

• Act as an ambassador for Challenge Partners, representing the organisation externally where required

• Lead an Account Management approach through providing clarity on the account management strategy and operations.

Oversight of partner experience and hub management operations 

• Line management of the Partnership Lead and one or two Partnership Co-ordinators

• Team leadership of the Hub Quality and Impact and Account Management teams, delegating tasks appropriately 

• Work closely with the Partnership Lead to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of all hubs 

• Act as a point of escalation for any issues across hubs

• Identify hubs at risk, and lead on creating sustainable solutions with team members

• Work closely with the Finance Team to facilitate our invoicing processes for each academic year 

• Oversee hub funding processes across all hubs, proactively considering any changes needed in line with Hub Quality work

• Oversee Pricing Governance processes

Leadership Responsibilities for all Managers

Key Skills and Attributes:

As a Youth Campaign Coach you will be responsible for delivering our programme in two locations in south Wales, leading face-to-face training and workshops with young people and supporting them as a group and 1-2-1 to build their skills and deliver their campaign actions. It is an exciting time to start this role as we are looking for new partnerships with youth organisations and are exploring embedding My World My Home into Friends of the Earth Cymru community campaigns. We especially welcome candidates who are well networked within south Wales communities to support these new groups.

A background in Youth Work or youth campaigning and a working understanding of the causes and impact of marginalisation (particularly that experienced by racialised, working class and disabled youth) will be essential for this role. Knowledge of community organising approaches would also be helpful.

This role is based in Cardiff to allow for travel via public transport to the My World My Home groups two days a week. Disability Sheffield is currently reviewing how we deliver our Community Advocacy work to ensure it is joined-up, fully user-led, representative, accessible and accountable to the community; and ultimately delivers positive change on behalf of our community. Senior Housing & Welfare Advice Worker’s post

The Manna Day Centre is a drop-in Centre for homeless and vulnerably housed single men and women. It is run by a team of project workers, under the Director, who are responsible for its smooth operation. Basic Services offered include food, showers, clothing, housing & welfare advice, medical care, and access to laptops. The Centre opens to service users 7 days a week, 8.30am– 1.30pm. The working week for this post is Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 4.00pm each day.

The Senior Housing & Welfare Advice Worker must have a commitment to homeless people, which includes acceptance and respect. Responsibilities are shared among the team according to needs, skills and aptitudes. The annual salary is negotiable (depending on your experience) ranging from £33,775 to £41,359. Benefits include a pension scheme, travel loans and 25 days annual leave (plus time in lieu of bank holidays worked).

As Senior Finance Officer, you will play a vital role at World Heart Beat, ensuring the effective day-to-day management of finances, financial administration, and bookkeeping, as well as informing future business planning. The Marketing & Communications Manager is a brand-new position which will sit on the Museum’s Management Board and be involved in site-wide decision making and realising the aims of the Trusts.

Overall Purpose

Duties & Responsibilities

Strategy, insight and evaluation

• Work with the Evaluation Team to gain visitor insight data that can be fed into the marketing strategy for the museum
• Deliver, with support from trustees, the marketing and communications strategy, including branding, managing social accounts, distribution and display of print marketing and creating newsletters
• Manage, deliver and monitor engaging integrated and audience-led marketing campaigns and communications that grow visitor numbers and revenue for the museum
• Support the development of business strategies, understanding the key objectives of the organisation and all activity being undertaken

Press, print and design

Role Summary

The main function of the School Engagement Coordinator role is to
