We are looking for a Research and Impact Officer to join the Assertive Contact and Engagement (ACE) Service working within a team supporting people with complex mental health needs to create positive change and enjoy improved wellbeing. This is a vital role supporting teams to effectively demonstrate their impact, with exciting opportunities to facilitate learning and development sessions.
In this role you will be:
- Supporting services to work safely, effectively and transparently to achieve their aims of supporting people to improve their mental health.
- Reporting around interventions and outcomes, and carrying out data analysis and research
- Assisting in information sharing and influencing by designing and delivering training packages on data and governance and mental health.
About you
You may have an interest in research and analysis or have the skills to deliver engaging presentations and learning interventions to internal and external teams.
You will have some familiarity in working with electronic recording systems, and GDPR guidance, as well as excellent communication skills. You will also have a solution focused, creative approach and excellent problem solving skills; thriving on the challenges and variety of working within this diverse role.
As this is a diverse role with a range of responsibilities, we are willing to be flexible for the most suitable candidate. Although ideally, we would like the post holder to work 3.5 days per week, we would accept anything from 2.5 to 3.5 days. In addition, we can be flexible around the days and times worked.

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
To assist with handling all incoming requests for help, both by telephone and email, to listen to and record the needs of older and/or terminally ill people and their pets.
To identify individuals outside our charitable remit and refer them to other organisations that can offer assistance and always seek advice in the case of doubt.
To raise a computerised record or case to log the call.
To help support the department with any administration process including inputting information on to our database.
This post will require a good overall understanding of the needs of older people and their pets.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
i. To listen to the needs of each Owner and accurately record information for each Owner and their pet by completion of a computerised case.
ii. To ensure you record all of your communications onto the database in an accurate and timely fashion by way of comments on each Owner case at the end of each conversation and appropriately refer to Management about urgent cases.
iii. To help maintain up-to-date records and mailing lists for Owners, Owners’ contacts and volunteers throughout the course of your work.
iv. To have a good working knowledge of other roles and tasks within the team and provide ad hoc support as required including inputting information.
Case types include; Dog Walking, home checks, Short term fostering, long term fostering, pet care, talks and pet profiling
v. To liaise with all other members of The Trust to help maintain a quality service.
vi. To contribute and liaise with the team by helping to update volunteer and owner cases in the course of your communications.
vii. To help maintain filing and filing systems related to your work.
viii. To liaise with all other staff of The Trust in a flexible manner.
ix. To liaise with all Owners and members of the general public in a polite and helpful way.
x. To be familiar with and adhere to procedures and protocols, disciplinary and applicable rules and ensure compliance with legislations (Health and Safety, Data Protection, especially the privacy of members, Owners and volunteers alike).
xi. At all times to ensure and maintain a compassionate, professional and efficient public image for The Trust.

Base: Central Edinburgh/hybrid
Hours: Full time and permanent. 35 hours a week over core working hours of 10am - 3pm, Monday to Friday, with a one-hour lunch break. The office is open 8am – 6pm daily and our hybrid working policy requires all full-time employees to work at least two days a week in the Edinburgh office.

About the role:
Your role as a Service Delivery Assistant (SDA) will be to provide an administrative function to the Humberside staff team.

Lambeth Step Forward Recovery Cluster is an accommodation based service, set across Lambeth including hub sites situated in Brixton and West Norwood. The service provides care and support to over 60 customers living with enduring long term mental health. We also provide a service for two short-term post hospital discharge schemes for customers, who need support following hospital admission.
The role of our Support Worker play's a crucial role in fulfilling our customers expectations, making a positive difference and where appropriate supporting customers to step down to a lower level of support. Our Support Worker's are guided and mentored by 2 team leaders alongside a Contract Manager and as part of the team you will be developing and sustaining a good quality service to all our customers. An essential part of this role involves developing good partnership working with a range of professional's and maintaining excellent record keeping in line with our compliance management. More importantly, you will be required to oversee support planning, updating Risk Management Plans, and Keyworking. Responsible for corporate hospitality, the Administrator will provide excellent in-person customer care for visitors to the organisation’s central London Hub and act a first point of contact via the organisation’s in-bound telephone hunt groups.

We provide support for 16 customers, we have two sites Hope House (10 bed supported housing) Doddsfield Rd (6 flats independent living with floating support).
Hope House - Support hours 24 hours 7 days per week, with sleep- in based on a shift rota pattern - (sleep-ins staff are paid additional to salary advertised).
Doddsfield Rd - Floating support (during working hours)
Team - 1X Contract Manager, 1X Team Leader, 3.2 Support Workers.
Current Vacancy - 1x FTE/1 x FTC Support Worker role who will be allocated to work with customers at both sites.
Staff work closely with Slough Community Mental Health Team (SCMHT) we also have a designated Occupational Therapist working along side supporting staff. Customers also attend Hope College which is facilitated via Slough Mental Health Team as part of their recovery process needed in preparation into independent living.
This is a great opportunity for any support worker to gain exceptional experience within the mental health field, based on the solid working relationship with (SCMHT) We have since implemented training directly from SCMHT to support staff with understanding Mental Health diagnosis and Managing Crisis with our customers in-house.

Crisis House is a community-based crisis service, working to a recovery model with the aim to reduce the amount of A&E and Hospital admissions through evidence-based CBT interventions. What is the role about?
A new project to support survivors of Domestic Abuse named 'SAFER' means we have a vacancy in the Administration Team. Undertaking a range of administration tasks to support the Kent Team in their day to day operations helping people affected by crime. Using a range of databases to enter or retrieve information, communicating with colleagues, the police and other agencies by e-mail and telephone and receiving and responding to internal and external queries and referrals.
You will need:

They will enjoy being a part of a busy and varied working environment and can demonstrate an ability to communicate with both colleagues and external partners including investigating officers.
