The Eve Appeal is recruiting for a new role within our award-winning specialist nurse information service Ask Eve.
We are the national charity focused on early diagnosis and prevention, working across all five gynaecological cancers.
Ask Eve is our nurse information service. It’s specialist, expert and free at the point of use for everyone who needs us. That’s anyone who has a question about the gynaecological cancers, their signs, symptoms or risk factors.
The demands on the service have grown hugely over the past three years and we are looking for a health care professional (from any relevant qualified background) who is looking for a move into a charity to provide direct information and support to patients.
We have exciting service developments ahead including the launch of a new AI tool.
We welcome applications from candidates with a wide range of backgrounds including those with lived experience of cancer. Candidates must be experienced healthcare professionals with substantive experience of supporting people affected by gynaecological health conditions and cancers.
Current professional registration, a demonstrable and detailed understanding of safeguarding and privacy policies within health information provision are essential. Some experience / qualifications in health communications would also be an advantage.

Head of Communications in the Parish Support Team for the Diocese of Derby, shaping communications strategy and storytelling across a region serving over one million people.
Location: Hybrid – minimum 2 days per week in Derby

We're looking for a Head of Communications to help tell that story. Reporting to the Director of Strategy and Engagement, and leading a team of three (Internal Communications Officer, Media and Campaigns Officer, and Parish Communications Enabler), you'll provide strategic leadership for communications across the diocese, helping it communicate with clarity, consistency and confidence.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Lead and inspire a talented Communications Team, providing clear direction, setting priorities and creating the conditions for colleagues to thrive.
- Shape and deliver the communications strategy, turning priorities into compelling campaigns that engage audiences and support the Church's mission.
- Champion the voice, brand and digital presence, ensuring consistent, creative and impactful communications across all channels.
- Develop and drive a proactive storytelling approach, uncovering and sharing inspiring stories of faith, ministry, growth and transformation from communities across the diocese.
- Act as a trusted adviser to bishops and senior leaders on media relations, reputation and crisis communications, while building strong partnerships to raise the profile and influence.
If you're an experienced communications professional with strong editorial instincts, excellent writing skills and a talent for building trusted relationships, we'd love to hear from you. Tech Club is looking for a warm, persistent and commercially minded UK Partnerships Lead to develop partnerships with organisations that support older adults.
Our practical online sessions help older people use smartphones, WhatsApp, video calling, online services, AI and other everyday technology with greater confidence and independence.
We now want to expand our reach by working with organisations such as:
- Charities supporting older people
- Care providers and care-home groups
- Housing associations and retirement communities
- Community and voluntary organisations
- Local authorities
- Membership organisations
- Digital-inclusion programmes
The opportunity
You will identify suitable organisations, open conversations with decision-makers and develop relationships that lead to annual Tech Club partnerships.
Our anticipated organisational partnership is worth approximately £10,000 per year, giving the right person the opportunity to earn substantial commission from each successful agreement.
This is a self-employed, commission-only opportunity with:
- Flexible hours
- Remote working
- A substantial commission on each partnership secured
- Estimated annual earnings of £30,000 to £75,000, based on results
- No upper limit on earnings
There is no fixed salary or guaranteed income. This opportunity is most suitable for someone who is comfortable developing their own pipeline and being rewarded directly for the results they achieve.

Existing contacts in the charity, care, housing, community or older-adult sectors would be extremely valuable, although they are not essential for someone with a strong track record of creating new opportunities.
