The Role
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Fundraising Support Officer to join our UK team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about wildlife conservation, eager to learn, and looking to develop a career in fundraising and supporter care.
The Fundraising Support Officer will be central to ensuring our supporters receive the highest standard of care. Working across individual giving, corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, and retail, the postholder will gain valuable experience in many areas of charity fundraising and supporter engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Support to the Retail Manager, including acting as first point of contact for order enquiries, exchanges, and returns, and assisting with fulfilling orders from the charity’s online shop.
- Supporter care, to include answering email, post, and telephone correspondence, providing receipts and donor follow-up.
- Accurate recording of donations and correspondence on the charity’s CRM system.
- Support the regular giving and orphan adoption programmes.
- Assist in identifying opportunities with corporate partners and charitable trusts.
- Support the Communications team by drafting and proofreading thank-you letters, donor updates, and impact reports.
- Assist in developing and attending charity events.
- Assist with general fundraising administration and other duties as required by the team.
Person Specification
Essential:
- Demonstrable experience in building relationships with customers or stewarding supporters and donors.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a polite and professional manner.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfortable learning new systems.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and/or handling supporter or customer data.
- Experience in customer service and administration.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a small team.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and willing to take on a variety of tasks.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment.
- A genuine interest in wildlife conservation and the mission of Sheldrick Wildlife Trust.
Desirable:
- Minimum two years’ experience in donor care or fundraising in the charity sector.
- Experience drafting written communications for a public audience.
- Understanding of the UK charitable sector and fundraising principles.
- Understanding of data protection, including GDPR.

We’re looking for a Strategic Legacy Engagement Manager to lead our team of legacy stewardship specialists. This is a new role leading an established, home-based team working across the UK and Ireland. This team is key to building our long-term legacy income. It is responsible for stewarding our legacy pledgers, delivering a range of engagement events and embedding our legacy messaging within our community networks.
Your role
As the Strategic Legacy Engagement Manager, you’ll be focused on:
- Driving innovation and development of the wider legacy strategy as part of the legacy leadership team.
- Leading a team responsible for stewarding high-value individuals, growing our portfolio of legacy supporters and delivering our programme of legacy events.
- Collaboration and coordination with fundraising stakeholders across the organisation to deliver the legacy strategy in support of the wider fundraising strategy.

About you
You’ll be passionate about legacy stewardship and understand the importance of delivering exemplary supporter engagement experiences balanced with supporting business goals and outcomes.
More specifically, you’ll have:
- A proven track record and experience in relationship management or stewardship, ideally with high level legacy supporters.
- Experience in leading and motivating teams and building cultures that bring out the best in individuals.
- Confidence as a people manager, with experience of coaching and supporting others to develop and achieve results.
- Great communication skills, with extensive experience of effectively engaging with supporters and influencing stakeholders at all levels in a business.
- Strategic thinking, being someone who looks and plans ahead, with ability to identify appropriate change and to deliver it - while keeping your team and stakeholders engaged.
- Demonstrable ability to use and understand trends and insights to positively influence development and delivery of activities.

The Senior Programme Manager will lead on stakeholder management for the Subject Knowledge for Physics Teaching (SKPT) programme, including senior leaders in multi-academy trusts, programme partners and funders. The postholder will also have specific responsibility for leading an effective strategy to meet programme KPIs.

As our Individual Giving Assistant – Supporter Retention & Development, you’ll play a vital role in supporting our fundraising campaigns and projects, helping to retain and maximise the lifetime value of our supporters. About Working Well Trust
Working Well Trust is a mental health and employment charity in London. All of our projects share the aim of improving the lives of people with mental health support needs, learning disabilities and/or complex issues through training and employment.
We are recruiting a Peer IPS Employment Advisor to join our IPS service, you will be based in the borough of Newham, working 35 hours per week. Working Well Trust's services have previously been awarded the IPS Grow quality mark and adheres closely to the principles of the IPS model in supporting people in to employment. This role will be working with clients who have mental health support needs, wanting to gain paid employment.
Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our passion and commitment to employment as an integral aspect of wellbeing and supporting people to find the right job for them. You will receive training on the IPS model and in supporting people with mental health issues. We welcome applications from people with lived experience of mental health, either personally or through a close contact.
You need to have a desire to support people to achieve their employment goals, and the ability to multitask and manage your workload effectively. Good organisation skills are essential for this role, in addition to an interest in mental health, and the role it plays in the workplace. What you’ll be doing
As a Peer IPS Employment Specialist you will play a vital role in helping people with mental health problems on their employment and recovery journey including using lived experience of recovery to support clients.
You will work with clients (managing a caseload) who have mental health support needs, to assist them in securing sustainable paid employment in line with their preferences. You will deliver the IPS approach (for which training will be given); providing person centred support and guidance to clients, whilst building positive relationships with local employers to enable clients to move into suitable employment.
You will work as part of a mental health team (NHS Trust) maintaining positive and integrated relationships, fostering a holistic approach to recovery through employment. You will work closely with clinical teams, providing a coordinated approach that always remains client led. You will also be working to targets whilst maintaining a high-quality service.
What you’ll need
Experience in employment support is not essential. We are looking for someone who brings:
- Own personal lived experience of recovery from mental health difficulties
- A genuine desire to support people into meaningful employment.
- Commitment to person-centred work and either experience of or enthusiasm to learn the IPS approach.
- Confidence engaging with employers and promoting the benefits of our service.
- Good organisation skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.

The role:
We’re looking for a self-motivated, driven Individual Giving Legacy Fundraiser to lead and grow income from the Individual Giving portfolio by driving acquisition of new individual and mid-level donors, elevating end to end donor interactions and deepening relationships with existing supporters. You will be proactive in using data insights to inform campaign targeting, mid donor level strategy as well as monitoring agreed kpis.
A key focus is to grow Regular Giving through the development of compelling supporter packages and upgrade pathways, while also advancing legacy giving through targeted messaging and initiatives that build a sustainable pipeline of pledges and gifts for the future.
What You Will Do
Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement a growth strategy for Regular Giving, including acquisition, retention, upgrade pathways, and mid-level donor development.

- Strong planning, organisational, and multitasking skills to meet deadlines and achieve both team and individual goals, including managing relationships with Macmillan supporters, volunteer groups and meeting key metrics such as, supporter retention and increasing fundraising targets.
- Impactful written and verbal communication and influencing skills to enable you to engage, inspire and deliver key messages combined with experience of collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proactively acquire new business and new relationships through targeted acquisition including research, completion of applications, and presentations to supporters/companies/groups to secure new income and/or relationships.
This role is home-based with mobile working. Your home base needs to be in Wales (or close to the border - e.g. in Chester) as on a weekly basis you can expect to work across Wales to meet with supporters face to face approximately 2 to 3 days a week. As such, you must have a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle or the ability to travel frequently across the region.
There will be a requirement to attend in-person team meetings based in the area on a quarterly basis and other parts of the UK when our wider fundraising territory and department get together.
There will also be a requirement for flexible and out of hours working to support occasional evening and weekend activity and you will be compensated for this with time off in lieu.

The Relationship Fundraising team at Alzheimer’s Research UK (ARUK) is responsible for securing income from individuals, regional businesses and groups fundraising in the community, effectively managing relationships to maximise income.
The Relationship Fundraising role will play a significant part in contributing to a high-performing fundraising team. The role will cover area of West London.
You will report to the Relationship Fundraising Manager and support the Head of Relationship Fundraising & Volunteering to drive the continued growth of the charity’s fundraising income in your area. You will also be required to show excellent relationship-building skills to support community partnerships and volunteer groups, driving towards agreed targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy, finance, and reporting
· Responsibility for stewardship and relationship building with supporters within the region.
· Identify and apply for ‘Charity of the Year’ partnerships with corporates in the region, account manage these relationships up to a value of £50,000 per annum and support the Partnership Development Team with national partnerships in your region.
· Support existing volunteer fundraisers to encourage continued loyalty to the charity and to maximise funds raised, in accordance with fundraising legislation and good practice.
· Recruit new fundraising supporters in line with strategy.
· Support the Relationship Fundraising Manager (RFM) and Head of Relationship Fundraising (HORF) in developing the Relationship Fundraising strategy for ARUK to increase income within this stream.
· Support and extend volunteer networks within geographical area in line with strategy.
· To ensure that fundraising activity is implemented and managed to deliver budgets, targets and income in line with strategy. To achieve this by supporting and facilitating the development of groups and volunteers across geographical area.
· Work across a diverse geographical area and within a geographically dispersed team, whilst managing own workload in a cost-effective and proactive way.
Supporter Management
· Provide excellent customer service to fundraising supporters, with prompt responses to enquiries, to acknowledge support and increase long-term loyalty.
· Provide high-quality account management to volunteer groups in geographical area.
· Effective management of volunteer relationships within geographical area.
· Support, motivate and develop local fundraising volunteers, ensuring they have a clear understanding of ARUK to enable them to represent the charity’s work effectively.

· Keep up to date with fundraising legislation and codes of practice to be able to provide relevant advice to fundraisers.

Increasing Community Support within geographical area
· Use own initiative to extend volunteer networks, develop new groups and supporters, and respond to fundraising opportunities within geographical area, in line with strategy.
· Manage recruitment process of new ARUK volunteers in geographical area, providing relevant support and training.
· Liaise with local community organisations (predominantly golf clubs) – both previous and new potential supporters – to extend income and activity in line with strategy.
· Provide face-to-face talks and presentations to community organisations for recruitment/ cultivation purposes.
· Arrange appropriate volunteer representation at events in the community, spreading the charity’s reach cost-effectively.
· Identify, research and target prospective community organisations, in liaison with RFM.
· Identify, research and target prospective local corporates in liaison with RFM / HORF and ARUK’s Partnership Development Managers and Partnership Development Officers, in line with strategy.
· Accurately track and record contact with both community and corporate prospects for planning and reporting purposes.
Monitoring and Reporting
· Ensure that your activity is monitored and evaluated, clearly communicating progress to your Relationship Fundraising Manager.
· Manage relevant information on the charity’s database, keeping detailed, up-to-date records of activity and income.

We are recruiting a IPS Employment Advisor to join our IPS service part time, you will be based in the borough of Newham, working 17.5 hours per week. Working Well Trust's services have previously been awarded the IPS Grow quality mark and adheres closely to the principles of the IPS model in supporting people in to employment. This role will be working with clients who have mental health support needs, wanting to gain paid employment.
Experience of employment support is not essential, it is more important that you share our passion and commitment to employment as an integral aspect of wellbeing and supporting people to find the right job for them. You will receive training on the IPS model and in supporting people with mental health issues. This role is responsible for managing and developing the Charity’s portfolio of corporate partnerships. This includes researching potential new corporate supporters, prospecting, engaging and stewarding to secure significant gifts, and growing the long-term potential of this portfolio. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the Head of Philanthropy and RDA Senior Leadership team, to build and develop compelling cases for support to help fund our much-needed work.
The successful candidate will utilise their relationship building expertise to identify, engage and maintain sustainable corporate relationships. Building relationships with a wide range of audiences is key, as is inspiring them to support core activities and projects across the RDA UK network.
We are looking for a dynamic, and ambitious fundraiser for this role, who is able to demonstrate enthusiasm for the projects and services we are seeking funds to support.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed the corporate income/expenditure budgets in line with agreed KPI’s
- Manage existing corporate relationships with a view to deepen engagement and develop levels of support.
- Develop and implement an effective process and programme to identify and secure the support of new businesses donors.
- To lead on high level stewardship and engagement with committed partnerships
- Work collaboratively to ensure relationships are maximised, using innovative tactics to keep partner employees of all levels engaged.
- To foster loyalty and continued commitment to RDA, which will be measured by KPI’s focussed on longevity and depth of partnership.
- To work collaboratively with the RDA Senior Leadership team to identify new business opportunities to pitch, present and acquire new partnerships.
- Proactive management of partnerships, including regular touch points to ensure fundraising targets are met or exceeded and active plans are in place.
- Create cultivation and engagement plans for the corporate partners senior leadership
- Working with the Head of Philanthropy, utilise existing mechanisms and develop new products to create a best practice supporter experience e.g. Ambassador programs, networking events, bespoke events (treks, quizzes, adrenaline events)
- Develop and grow strategies and programmes for relationship building and stewardship of existing corporate supporters.
- Create and deliver compelling proposals and pitches to prospective new corporate supporters.

Job Description
As the Operations and Visitor Experience Manager, you play a pivotal role at CSC, with full
responsibility for our Centre in Cambridge Science Park and our secondary site, currently in
Wisbech.
An essential part of your role is to drive CSC’s direct revenue streams connected to the Centre.
You will lead your team in generating public and school bookings, and in overseeing community
audiences, private hires, and other groups, ensuring every visitor enjoys a seamless and
welcoming experience. You will also take a proactive approach to increasing visitor numbers,
expanding CSC’s membership base, and researching and developing new revenue-generating
initiatives that strengthen our long-term sustainability.
Your expertise in creating and implementing exhibition spaces will be instrumental in bringing to
life our annual delivery calendar of science themes, which is strategically curated to attract and
engage our audiences while supporting the delivery of our Programmes. You will oversee an
annual budget covering the shop and site facilities.
You will work closely with the Outreach and Innovation Manager to prioritise, schedule, and
maintain products and content in line with CSC’s core Programmes and commitments, ensuring
impactful experiences for all audiences. In collaboration with the Marketing and Communications
Manager, you will plan and execute advertising campaigns targeting both the public and schools.
You will also coordinate with the Corporate Partnerships Manager to develop opportunities for
corporate partners to support on-site exhibitions and events, ensuring agreed partnerships are
effectively tracked and delivered.
Beyond operations, you will champion excellence in STEM engagement, providing both positive
and constructive feedback to the Engagement and Logistics Lead to ensure CSC’s offerings
remain best-in-class. This is an opportunity to shape the visitor experience at CSC, ensuring it

Key Responsibilities
● Create a welcoming and engaging environment for all visitors to our centres.
● Support and line-manage the Delivery and Sales Administrator and the Finance and
Operational Support Manager.
● Take overall responsibility for Health and Safety across CSC sites, ensuring full compliance
with requirements at both centres. Implement corrective actions where needed, and
oversee training and incident management to maintain a safe and well-managed
environment.
● Achieve annual direct income revenue targets across Visitors, Membership, Shop, Schools,
Parties, and STEMtots (under-fives), track progress, report findings, and take corrective
action as needed.
● Develop and implement strategies to increase visitor numbers and drive membership
growth.
● Research, plan, and execute new revenue projects to diversify CSC’s income streams.
● Oversee asset records, maintenance priorities, budgets, contractors, and expenditures
across the Cambridge and Wisbech sites, ensuring the effective sourcing and delivery of
third-party exhibits and content.
● Deliver an annual plan for exhibition-floor themes, events, and site management,
coordinating with the Outreach and Innovation Manager and the Engagement and Logistics
Lead to align activities with multi-year programmes, partner commitments, and internal
schedules such as training and exhibit maintenance.
● Establish a multi-layered feedback system to collect, analyse, and act on visitor insights,
continuously enhancing our offering.
● Oversee CSC’s volunteering and work experience programme, ensuring recruitment,
induction, and ongoing support are delivered to a high standard.
● Work with the Director of Business Development to identify and address barriers for
schools, supporting bursary applications and additional funding opportunities.
● In coordination with your team, ensure the shop is stocked with appropriate products to
maximise sales, support at-home engagement with STEM after a family visit and promote a
message of sustainability.
● Increase school bookings through strategic planning, aligning with schools’ annual planning
cycles, targeted outreach, and the effective delivery of engagement programmes.
● Work with the Marketing & Communications Manager to plan and deliver advertising for
exhibitions, events, and school engagement, ensuring effective promotion of activities at
both the Cambridge and Wisbech centres.
● Manage the budget and oversee all contractors and expenditures related to the Cambridge
site and Wisbech.
● Provide financial support, working closely with the Director of Operations and Engagement
to ensure CSC’s operational sustainability.

Working Conditions
The primary location for this role is Cambridge Science Centre at Trinity Centre, Cambridge
Science Park, CB4 0FN; however, travel to secondary sites and the main office will be required.
One working weekend per month will also be required.

We are seeking an enterprising, organised individual to join Akshaya Patra UK as our Supporter Engagement Officer. The role is a joyfully versatile one which requires planning, coordination, and a strong 'make it happen' attitude. As the first point of contact for supporters, community groups, and partners, the candidate will ensure every interaction, whether by phone, email, social media, or in-person, is positive, timely, and professional.
A key part of the role will be to build and grow volunteer chapters across the UK, developing local champions who increase awareness and funds for Akshaya Patra. Even as the candidate will invite new supporters to join our mission, managing supporter relationships with a defined portfolio of donors, monitoring income, and contributing to data analysis related to supporter engagement and projects is a key part of the role. In addition, maintaining the inventory of supporter engagement tools and merchandise, ensuring materials are organised, available, and effectively used to inspire supporters.
Knowledge of British culture and geography is welcome, while familiarity with India, its regions, and Indian languages is an added advantage. You will attend meetings and events in London and other parts of the UK as required, with the flexibility to work remotely at other times.
