We’re looking for an enthusiastic and relationship-focused Researcher Engagement Officer to join our Research team and strengthen relationships with the researchers and Fellows we fund.

You’ll develop and deliver a programme of researcher engagement and stewardship, creating opportunities for collaboration, learning and long-term partnership. From webinars and conferences to researcher visits and events, you’ll help ensure our research community feels supported and connected throughout their journey with Blood Cancer UK.

You’ll build strong relationships with grant holders, Fellows and key research stakeholders, plan and deliver engagement activities, develop insight into the blood cancer research community and represent Blood Cancer UK at conferences and research events. You’ll also support research impact activity, contribute to funding rounds and partnerships, and work collaboratively across Research, Engagement and Fundraising.

We’re looking for someone with experience in the charity or research sector, an understanding of how research funding translates into impact, and excellent relationship-building and communication skills. You’ll be organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple projects, analysing research information and using technology, data and insight to deliver results.

The role involves 1–2 days of travel per week, including meetings with researchers, conferences, team workshops and away days, as well as two all-staff away days each year. There will also be occasional evening and weekend work.

Age UK is one of the Richmond Group of Charities (RGC), a coalition of 15 health and care charities working together to improve care for people with long-term health conditions (LTCs).

They host the RGC's We Are Undefeatable physical activity programme which is funded by Sport England until March 2028. It aims to support people with LTCs to become more physically active, including by influencing national and local policy and practice to tackle systemic barriers as well as delivery of a social marketing campaign to encourage individual behaviour change.

Bowel Research UK are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Events Officer to lead the delivery and growth of their challenge events programme.

This brand-new role to the charity will focus on recruiting, supporting and stewarding participants across a range of fundraising events, with responsibility for the charity's London Marathon programme and third-party challenge event portfolio.

As Mass Participation Event Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future direction of the programme while driving continued growth in income, participation and supporter engagement. About the role

The EDIS Community and Engagement Officer will provide the coordination, communication and relationship-building needed to support the growth, participation and value of the EDIS membership community.

The role will support day-to-day member onboarding, engagement activity, communications, events and community-building processes across the EDIS portfolio. It will ensure that members are supported to connect with each other, contribute to EDIS priorities and access opportunities to learn, share and collaborate. You will work with the EDIS team and with BSA communications team colleagues to support their work.

A central focus will be building effective, inclusive and accessible routes for member participation. Working with EDIS members, partners and colleagues across the British Science Association, the postholder will help to ensure that engagement activity is joined up, responsive to member needs and focused on meaningful participation across the science and health research sector.

This role would suit someone who combines strong organisational approaches with proactive communication, relationship building, and a commitment to and knowledge of equity, diversity and inclusion. The successful candidate will be confident supporting communities, networks and membership groups, helping to strengthen the EDIS community while ensuring that engagement, communications and events are delivered effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Support day-to-day member onboarding and support processes, ensuring new and existing members understand how to participate in EDIS activity.
• Coordinate with the Communications Team to develop member communications, newsletters and engagement content, ensuring activity is joined up, accessible and responsive to member needs.
• Plan and support delivery of events, workshops, peer learning sessions including ‘special interest’ groups and network activity that create practical opportunities for members to learn, share and collaborate.
• Maintain accurate membership records, contact lists and engagement data, supporting clear information flow across BSA, EDIS members and partners.
• Gather member insight and feedback, identifying themes, opportunities and barriers to participation that can inform programme design and delivery.
• Apply inclusive practice in all communications, events, engagement activity and member support, reflecting a clear commitment to and knowledge of equity, diversity and inclusion.
• Support membership growth and retention by helping demonstrate the value of involvement in EDIS and strengthening routes for member participation.
• Work with the Research and Policy Officer and Programme Manager to ensure member insight informs evidence, programme design, engagement activity and delivery.
• Support the production of accessible resources, meeting materials and event content that help members connect with each other and contribute to EDIS priorities.
• Contribute to the promotion of EDIS activity across sector networks and communication channels, supporting meaningful participation across the science and health research sector.

The Foundation for Jewish Heritage is seeking to engage an experienced Learning and Engagement Consultant to support their project Preserving Jewish Heritage, Promoting the Hidden Jewish Story in the year-long Development Phase of its project and for the first six months (of a five-year programme) of the Delivery Phase of the project. The Consultant will support and advise the Synagogues in this first pilot on activities/outreach and education, ultimately creating a framework for future use as a core part of this programme. The role will report to the Project Development Officer.  The Project Development Officer is currently being recruited and will be responsible for the set up and day to day running of the project.

The Foundation’s work to date has demonstrated a significant gap in provision for historic synagogues. There is a clear need for a more defined and comprehensive support function for the UK synagogues sector: one that offers a professional, accessible and user-friendly service; guides and empowers synagogue communities; helps ensure synagogue buildings are well maintained, resilient and future-proofed, including in response to the climate emergency; and supports synagogues to engage more effectively with wider society.
