An exceptional opportunity to work with a passionate volunteer-led organisation and help shape the future of a remarkable industrial heritage site. Kempton Steam Museum, operated by Kempton Great Engines Trust, is home to the world's largest operational triple-expansion steam engine, which supplied water to much of London until 1980. Our project, Kempton: Clean Water for Life - reaching a wider audience, is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we aim to transform Kempton Steam Museum’s engagement with visitors and the local community, while enhancing support for volunteers and care of collections. Three new part-time staff roles are being created to focus on volunteering, collections and managing the project.

The part-time Museum Operations and Project Manager will manage day-to-day operations and oversee delivery of the project initiatives. We will also be recruiting a Curatorial Officer (one day per week) and a Volunteer Coordinator (two days per week).

The key responsibilities of the Museum Operations and Project Manager include overseeing daily operations in particular to build capacity, in collaboration with the Operations Committee, and developing operational policies and procedures; planning, executing and monitoring all aspects of the Heritage Fund project; line managing the Volunteer Coordinator and fostering a positive and collaborative working environment between staff and volunteers; line managing the Curatorial Assistant to ensure that collections are looked after and documented in line with best practice; working with the Curatorial Assistant and trustees to achieve Accreditation by August 2026; and managing the external consultants who will be carrying out audience development work and developing learning materials.

The Opportunity

WeSeeHope is hiring a Finance Manager to join their small, high-performing team. This part-time role offers the chance to play a key role in transforming the lives of vulnerable children and young people across East and Southern Africa. The role is starting in September so applicants need to be immediately available to start and applicants are required to be CCAB qualified accountants.

WeSeeHope is a small international development organisation committed to creating sustainable change for vulnerable children in Southern and Eastern Africa. We work across three countries – Malawi, Tanzania, and Uganda – in areas where children are acutely impacted by a lack of opportunity, exploitation and isolation. The Role

The service aims to identify and address the needs of stroke survivors and carers whose lives are affected by aphasia, by providing a range of innovative support solutions, supporting them to meet their desired outcomes. A key part of the role will be to support service users and the delivery of the service.

Reporting to the Stroke Service Delivery Coach, the Stroke Support Coordinator will:

• Supporting new stroke survivors and their carers from hospital discharge into the community.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Implementation & Fundraising 
• Implementation of a strategic plan to significantly increase major donor income, with a target of 17.5% of overall revenue within 3 years.
• Implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy for major donor income, aligned with CAP's overall strategic priorities.
• Execution of market research and competitor analysis to identify new funding opportunities and best practice in Philanthropic fundraising.
• Build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders, in order to identify points of engagement and draft appropriate funding bids.
• Represent CAP at high-level events and conferences to build relationships with potential donors and partners.

Major Donor Development

• Manage a designated caseload of high-net-worth individuals or trusts, cultivating deep and meaningful relationships.
• Conduct face-to-face meetings, personalised communications, and bespoke stewardship plans to cultivate and steward major donors.
• Develop compelling restricted funding projects to attract major donor investment.
• Implement a donor recognition program to acknowledge and celebrate major donor support.

What you will do:

The role encompasses all aspects of digital marketing activity, including both B2B and B2C. You’ll also be supporting commercial activities for Waddesdon Manor, the trading company RWL which includes Catering for the Manor operation, visitors, retail, public events, private events, The Bow and The Five Arrows, and any special projects for the Rothschild Foundation e.g. future commercial property developments.

• Develop and deliver an online strategy to drive engagement and conversion across Waddesdon’s digital channels.

The Role
 
An excellent opportunity has arisen within Worcestershire for an experienced Project Manager to join our highly successful Homelessness Prevention Service. The service also delivers the SWEP Night Shelters across the six districts within the County.
 
You'll need to have a flexible approach to working, to meet the needs of the service and be highly responsive to referrals for homelessness across Worcestershire. The ideal candidate will have relevant homelessness service experience. Travel will be required between service areas and occasionally the head office in Gloucestershire. The role will also include line management of a team of dedicates Seniors, Co-ordinators and Support Workers who are delivering the service.
