Keychange is a Christian charity with over 100 years of experience supporting people facing vulnerability. Today, we provide specialist housing for women and young people experiencing homelessness, alongside residential care for older people across the South and South West of England.

We are now seeking an exceptional Supported Housing Manager (Surrey) to shape and lead our specialist women’s homelessness service at Wayside Community in Reigate. This community is a 19 bed, 24-7 supported housing for women experiencing homelessness. This is a rare opportunity to combine frontline leadership, strategic development, and church and community partnership building in a role with real depth, influence and impact.

About the Role

• This is a leadership role with both operational and strategic responsibility. You will:
• Provide leadership and line management to the Deputy Manager, Senior Administrator and a skilled team of support workers
• Lead the delivery of trauma-informed, strengths-based, person-centred support
• Develop strong partnership networks across local authorities, charities, housing providers and churches
• Shape the future of Keychange’s women’s homelessness strategy across Surrey

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver excellent supporter care, including responding to email, post and telephone enquiries, issuing receipts, and carrying out donor follow‑up.
• Provide warm and consistent stewardship to donors, including personalised contact such as telephone calls, letters, handwritten cards and emails.
• Be the first point of contact for community groups, schools and clubs, offering guidance, support and fundraising materials.
• Support recruitment and stewardship of challenge event participants, ensuring they feel informed, motivated and appreciated.
• Support community fundraisers throughout their activity, providing resources, stewardship and encouragement. 
• Record and track community fundraising activity within the CRM.
• Support the development and delivery of supporter journeys, helping ensure communications and touchpoints are timely and engaging.
• Manage stock of supporter materials, including running vests, swim caps, donation buckets and collection tins, ensuring timely fulfilment of requests.
• Assist with the implementation of the new CRM system, including accurate data entry and supporting the wider team during the transition.

• Accurately record donations and supporter correspondence within the CRM system.
•  Provide administrative support to the Income Generation team, assisting with general tasks and contributing to the smooth running of fundraising activity.

Our client, a renowned young person's homeless charity based across East Surrey, is currently seeking an experienced Housing Support Manager to oversee a dedicated team of housing officers in supporting a variety of vulnerable young people with complex needs. This role will be based onsite in Redhill 4 days a week (one day working from home).

Reporting to the Head of Housing, the Housing Support Manager will manage a team of 7 housing officers, who in turn will oversee a small caseload of vulnerable young people (aged 16-21), supporting and empowering them to gain independence. The role will be based at the charity’s 44-bed hostel in Redhill but will also have oversight of 4 other smaller properties in the nearby area (up to 75 beds in all). As Housing Support Manager, you will manage and ensure compliance within the Housing Support Act (2023), as well as managing support service contracts to achieve contractual obligations, including regular report writing. The role will also be also responsible for overseeing and maintaining health and safety, safeguarding, fire safety and resident wellbeing standards.

To apply for this role, you will have demonstrable experience of overseeing housing support services for vulnerable people and will have significant experience of overseeing teams of frontline support staff.  You will be a confident communicator, skilled at building relationships both internally and externally. A candidate who holds a CIH level 4 or equivalent is preferred (although if this is not held, there is an expectation to complete this within 12 months of starting).

• Have responsibility for the recording of donations and other financial data onto the database and handwritten ledger – ensuring accuracy at all times

• Possess a full driving license

About the role

MAP is seeking an experienced Supporter Care and Database Assistant to join our Supporter Care team, working across Fundraising and other directorates in MAP to provide supporters who contact MAP with exceptional supporter care through enquiry handling, and income thanking and processing. Maximise long-term support by ensuring every supporter feels valued at MAP. Support the Fundraising and Marketing Team with the maintenance of customer records and transactions using MAP's fundraising database: Microsoft Dynamics.

About You

You’ll bring proven experience as a supporter/customer care expert, with strong knowledge of supporter care best practice. You’ll enjoy talking to supporters regularly and be confident in managing communications, taking time to understand supporters and making sure they feel genuinely valued and appreciated. You’ll be highly organised, collaborative, and committed to MAP’s mission and values. You’ll also take pride in delivering excellent supporter care at the highest standards whilst ensuring donations and data are handled accurately, securely and in line with agreed policies and processes.
