What we're building
Every year, 3,000+ swimmers take on some of the UK's most iconic open water challenges, including the Dart10k, Bantham Swoosh and The Hurly Burly along with our growing series of 24-hour Wild Swim Relays. They swim so that disabled kids who need it most can get life-changing swimming lessons.
Last year, these swimmers raised over £1m. This year, we want to double it. And we need someone who can help us get there.
We're Level Water, a founder-led charity solving learn-to-swim for disabled children. We're not your typical charity. We own the events and run them like a business. We move fast, test everything, and we're building something that doesn't exist anywhere else.
We've just brought in a new Fundraising Director, and this role is a cornerstone of the team we're building. If you want to help define how a modern charity does supporter care, this is your chance.
The opportunity
This isn't a "send some emails and answer some queries" role. This is a "build something and make it brilliant" role.
You'll own the entire experience for our 3,000 swimmers from the moment they sign up, through their training and fundraising journey, to the event itself (yes, you'll be there), and beyond. You'll design the journey, execute it, measure it, improve it, and scale it.
You'll have the freedom to experiment. Want to test a new communication sequence? Build a WhatsApp community? Launch a training programme? Run in-person meet ups? Create a membership product? Brilliant, build the business case and let's do it.
You'll work with real people who are doing something remarkable. You'll get to know them, thank them, support them, and help them raise more money than they thought possible. And you'll do it in a way that makes them want to come back year after year.
You'll also work closely with our Fundraising Director, Events and Marketing teams to turn our swimmers into our best marketing channel, because the people who've experienced our events are the ones who'll bring their friends next year.
And you'll grow with us. We're scaling fast, and we need people who can scale with us, whether that's into senior leadership, building out new teams, or launching new products.
This is a mission-critical role in driving Level Water’s income growth. Every strong supporter relationship you build helps unlock more funded swimming lessons, bringing us closer to a future where every disabled child can have a great swimming lesson with a confident, qualified teacher.

What you'll actually do
This role owns the supporter experience as a growth engine. You’ll set strategy, drive innovation, and be accountable for how supporter care translates into income, retention and long-term loyalty. You’ll work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to shape priorities, influence decisions, and build something that scales - not just for this year’s events, but for the future of Level Water.
Build relationships that matter

Be there at events throughout the summer meeting people, creating unforgettable experiences, and giving them reasons to come back.

Deliver the personal touches that deepen connections: handwritten cards, phone calls, training tips, impact updates, recognition, celebration.
Design and optimise the supporter journey

Own the end-to-end experience: from sign-up emails to post-event stewardship.

Map out communications across our events portfolio throughout the year and execute them brilliantly.

Use data to spot opportunities; where are people dropping off? Where can we increase average fundraising? What messages work best?

Test everything. Buttons, subject lines, timing, tone obsess over the details that drive results.
Identify and unlock growth opportunities

Spot the swimmers who could become major donors, corporate partners, or monthly givers and move them along that journey.

Cross-sell and upsell: if someone's just completed their first challenge, how do we make them another offer that they can’t refuse?
Track, report, and improve

Keep our CRM up to date and use it intelligently.

Report regularly on what's working and what's not: fundraising targets, engagement metrics, retention rates.

Stay ahead of the curve: what are the best organisations doing? What can we learn and adapt?

We are looking for a highly organised, digitally confident person to help us run a new online resource hub for schools and kitchen teams. The national school food hub will give school chefs and staff across the country access to resources, online training and support to build a positive food culture.
You will play a key role in making sure the hub is kept up to date, easy to use and continually adapted to the needs of its members. Day to day, you will look after the website content and user journeys, monitor the member forums, manage our CRM systems, and report on data to help the team understand how the hub is being used.

About you and the role
This role will initially support the set up and roll-out of the national school food resource hub, in collaboration with internal and external partners. With the hub still in its design phase, you will be joining at a crucial time, to ensure it is ready to launch in the Spring. Our ultimate goal is that every school in the country has access to, and is using the resource hub to support their crucial role in shaping kids’ eating habits for life.
Working closely with the Membership Programme Manager and Content and Resource Officer, your role will be to manage the day to day administration of the resource hub, ensuring it is continually updated with new content, resources & recipes and live event details.
You will support the creation and maintenance of the e-learning modules, and with a national forum for school chefs embedded on the site, you will also be responsible for monitoring and moderating user generated content.
Your role will also include maintaining and updating the platform's CRM, ensuring member information is accurate and up to date, supporting the administration process for new members, and responding to member queries relating to the site or their access.
You will also support the team & partners by providing data to support the development of the platform and for the monitoring & evaluation team to demonstrate the impact of our work.
Other elements to the role will include sending mailers & newsletters through the platform and supporting our Procurement Manager with analysis of procurement data.

Key responsibilities:

Manage the day to day administration of the resource hub, ensuring content is accurate, well presented and on brand.

Update the site with new copy, case studies, tools and resources, working with programme leads and partner organisations to gather content.

Upload, schedule and maintain webinars, training sessions and online events, including setting up registration pages and follow up emails.

Monitor and moderate user forums and discussion spaces.

Manage user accounts and permissions, including setting up new organisations, troubleshooting and supporting user issues.

Maintain and update the platform’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring school data is accurate, complete and compliant with data protection policies.

Support the administration between the platform’s system and our internal CRM system, helping to keep records aligned and flagging issues or data quality concerns.

Support the set up, maintenance and reporting on e-learning modules, including course content, enrolment lists and completion data.

Ensure the resource hub supports our commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.

Work closely with our external developers, logging bugs, testing new features, and providing clear feedback from users and staff.

Complete regular procurement and programme data analysis, including cleaning, organising and visualising data to help the team understand trends and identify gaps.

Role summary
If you’re ready for your next fundraising role, taking a step up and pushing yourself whilst working in a small but mighty team, this role really is for you. This role is a critical part of the fundraising puzzle to deliver the Edward’s Trust fundraising growth plan for 2026 and increase income and services in the local West Midlands area. This role allows you to apply your fundraising skill and knowledge and have a real and measurable impact." This Senior Fundraiser will report to the Interim Head of Fundraising, with a plan to lead the team from June 2026 with a comprehensive handover.
This role will deputise for the interim Head of Fundraising when required and has huge potential for professional growth. This role will be an exciting opportunity to work with the leadership team to develop and implement the Edward’s Trust income generation strategy, and we are particularly interested in candidates that have grown corporate income. You will be individually responsible for Corporate, Legacy, and Regular Giving fundraising.
Working with interim Head of Fundraising, you will enhance the donor experience, ensure relationships are strong and that excellent personalised communication systems are in place and that we are truly audience led. You will be required to support other members of the Fundraising Team on fundraising activities where extra resources or senior representation may be required.
You will be responsible and accountable for ensuring the database (Donorflex) is maintained by the Fundraising Team alongside the Head of Fundraising.
You will be responsible for supporting the Head of Fundraising in reviewing systems and processes and ensuring that the Fundraising Team is working efficiently and in accordance with regulatory and legal requirements and best practice.
The role will involve managing and tracking the Fundraising Team budget through direct line management when appropriate and you will be required to create monthly reports and updates as well as Trustee Reports, and, when needed, to reforecast income/expenditure, liaising with the senior leadership team.

You will be a key point of contact at RHS Garden Bridgewater who can confidently engage and steward a wide range of donors and stakeholders in the area around the garden. These include local major donors, family-led trusts and foundations, and members of our Patrons programme. You will also lead on sharing information on activities at Bridgewater with the Development and Corporate Partnerships Department and support this wider team with fundraising activities in the Garden.
You will be happy to travel to our Head Office in Central London at least once a month as well as occasional visits to other RHS Gardens and Shows around the country.
Since opening in 2021 RHS Garden Bridgewater has become a hub for the local community, and your role will be to help expand our income for the wide variety of programmes and capital projects in the garden which include our work in education and learning for all ages, community programming, and wellbeing. This is an exciting time join the RHS at Bridgewater as we have plans to celebrate the Garden’s fifth anniversary and open the new Scholars Garden in 2026, providing excellent opportunities to engage supporters.

As their first paid employee, the Charity Manager, reporting to the Board of Trustees, will lead the day to day operational, strategic and business functions of the charity. Working with three Heads of Evaluation, the Deputy Director and the Director, you will help ensure our evaluations are designed to generate credible evidence of what works.
- You will work closely with independent evaluators and delivery partners and colleagues in our Programmes & Grants and Policy & Communications directorates, you will assess the evaluability of interventions, and lead the design and delivery of large-scale, complex impact evaluations.
- You will manage a portfolio of projects, leading some directly, and overseeing others while supporting more junior colleagues.
- You will also contribute to strengthening our ‘evaluation architecture’, leading projects that enhance data infrastructure and access to administrative datasets, and set standards for methodological rigour in the sector.

Thanks for taking the time to explore the role of Trusts Fundraising Manager at the Family Holiday Charity. The role is becoming vacant as our current Trusts Fundraiser is taking early retirement. We’re super happy for her. But it means time for change! So, we're looking for a new colleague to join us and build forward from all the hard work that she’s put in!
This role is a critical one in our fundraising plans - raising around £300k annually, with pipeline potential for more as you unlock partnership working and programme development across the organisation.
You’ll need to be a bit of an all-rounder - researching and keeping pipelines updated, eccure gifts and donations, consider applications, adapt data and information and inspire with your words, reporting on progress and income. Add a dash of strategic thinking as we develop programmes and look for new funding support to achieve that. We currently raise about £200k (with about ¾ of that as secure as any pipeline can be) but have a budget target of £100k to raise from partnership working and programme development with others in the team. There’s a lot of potential in this area!
The trusts environment is, quite frankly, a bit bonkers so we know that this won't appear on paper to be the easiest role in the world. You’re going to need grit and tenacity as well as all the other skills a good trust fundraiser needs. But we’re a great team, going great things and in a fantastic position to build forward from our existing strong position in Trusts.
We’re a small but flexible team - just like our approach to work. This is a hybrid role, and you’ll need to show your face in the office periodically (for things with a purpose, not just for the sake of it!).
