The Brompton Fountain supports children's heart and lung care at Guys and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust encompassing Royal Brompton, Harefield, St Thomas’, Evelina London Children’s Hospital and their partner hospitals.
Based at Royal Brompton Hospital, we work with teams across all sites to ensure patients and their families receive specialised support and resources (whilst in hospital and at home), regardless of where the child is treated within the Trust
network.

The Family Support Officer plays a vital role in delivering compassionate, practical and emotional support to children, young people and families receiving care under the Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. Working closely with the Hospital Services Manager, the post-holder will help deliver high-quality charitable services, events and projects.

Key objectives of the job 

• Work closely with the Hospital Services Manager to deliver core charity support, including but not limited to researching and distributing essential items, seasonal gifts and treats.

• Assist with the planning, preparation and delivery of events for children and families, varying in scale from one-to-one activities to large events.

• Obtaining and filing photo consent forms for any photography for promotional use.

• Assist with the delivery and development of services specifically for bereaved families, including annual events and support projects. 

• Assist with the upkeep of parent communal areas, including stock levels and general maintenance.

• Order products as directed by Hospital Services Manager

• Accurately recording charitable output, to be used for reporting purposes.

• Arranging travel and accommodation for families as part of our support services.

• Contribute ideas to improve services and identify unmet needs among families.

Communication and representation

• Communication with parents and families during face to face, telephone, email and social media interactions.

• Act in accordance with safeguarding procedures, escalating concerns about the welfare of children or vulnerable adults to the Hospital Services Manager (or charity CEO as required)

• Assist with the creation of regular charity newsletters through copywriting.

• Act as an ambassador for the charity when attending events and activities.

• Ensure that up to date written records and activity data are maintained in  accordance with professional and charity standards. 

• Comply with Charity and Trust policies including, but not limited to, current child protection policy and guidance, confidentiality, and health and safety.

• Be vigilant and aware of all stock, merchandise and resources owned by the charity.

As part of our ambitious Buildings Strategy, supported by the Church of England’s Buildings for Mission programme, we are expanding our capacity and seeking a Church Buildings Support Officer (CBSO) to join our Buildings, Environment and Land Team. A second CBSO will be recruited later in the year, and between the roles we aim to cover two specialist areas:

• Fundraising and grant support (particularly heritage and capital grants)
• Community engagement and enterprise development

We welcome applicants who bring strength in at least one of these areas. All CBSOs will also provide general fabric and funding advice.

As a CBSO, you will be an advisor, problem‑solver and encourager — working alongside parishes to help them repair, adapt and make the best possible use of their buildings. You’ll support everything from maintenance plans to major capital projects, helping churches access funding, specialist guidance and community partnerships.

You will play a key role in ensuring church buildings are well cared for, environmentally responsible, and equipped for worship, ministry and wider community life. The right person for this role will understand buildings in community settings and how they are used. They will be interested in heritage buildings and also know about, or want to learn about, churches and how to care for them. We need a strong communicator who can adjust to different audiences, engaging people in the cause rather than bulldoze them. The skills to bring people together to collaborate are key. Experience of developing and managing projects with community groups/faith groups and fundraising, as well as experience in budget management is important.

We are currently seeking a Trust Fundraising Support Officer to join our growing fundraising team. 2025 was our best year yet for income and this role is pivotal in helping us to take the next step in further growing our income.

This new role will play a key part in delivering funding from Trusts, Foundations and other funders across the UK, supporting the Senior Trust Fundraising Officer to maximise our income. You will be responsible for making small-scale grant applications, and for growing our grants portfolio through identifying new funding opportunities.

There will be a range of projects to work on, providing vital support to ensure that we are increasing the number of warm funders who regularly support the charity.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Build up a strong pipeline of prospective funders by researching trusts that align with Epilepsy Action’s vision and strategy
• Secure income from small-scale charitable trusts, foundations, and other grant makers to meet individual and team targets
• Ensure timely thanking, updates and reporting for all grants and donations from our rolling programme of applications
• Use data in the CRM to analyse trends and identify opportunities

At Epilepsy Action we recognise the power of collaboration and teamwork, so our team members with hybrid contracts can expect to work a minimum of 40% at our office in Leeds. On average this is 2 days a week, normally on Mondays and Thursdays, for full-time employees. The expectation to collaborate face-to-face is driven in part by your role and the activities you need to do which may vary from time to time, so you will need to work in a flexible way to help us create a world without limits for people with epilepsy.

• Experience in using specialist fundraising research tools

The Frontline AIDS Technical Assistance (TA) unit is responsible for managing the delivery of Frontline AIDS’ portfolio of Technical Assistance assignments to a wide range of stakeholders. We have proven expertise in working with government bodies, national health programmes and civil society organisations to build skills in organisational development, financial management, grant management, programming in human rights and gender, and in strengthening community systems. As deputy safeguarding lead officer for both shildren and vulnerable adults you will take the lead in the absence of the safeguarding leads and be confident sharing your knowledge with new recruits through mentoring.

You will have excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to uphold best practice, challenge poor policy and inappropriate decisions.  Excellent IT skills and the ability to plan, prioritise and deliver to tight timescales are essential.  You will be self-motivated and highly organised, juggling many strands of work. 

As part of a small, dedicated team, you will have a positive attitude and a willingness to work collaboratively with your colleagues and external parties to raise awareness, advocate for our membership, as well as supporting the delivery and development of services for the MPS Society community.

Whilst a relevant qualification within health & social care, education or a related field is desirable, other knowledge and work experiences may be equally as valuable in this role. Prior knowledge of MPS and related conditions is not required however a special interest in neurology and working with individuals with neurological disabilities is advantageous.  In-depth support and training to develop expertise in MPS and related conditions, and the needs of those affected by these progressive, life-limiting conditions will be provided.

Keychange is a Christian charity with over 100 years of experience supporting people facing vulnerability. Today, we provide specialist housing for women and young people experiencing homelessness, alongside residential care for older people across the South and South West of England.

We are now seeking an exceptional Supported Housing Manager (Surrey) to shape and lead our specialist women’s homelessness service at Wayside Community in Reigate. This community is a 19 bed, 24-7 supported housing for women experiencing homelessness. This is a rare opportunity to combine frontline leadership, strategic development, and church and community partnership building in a role with real depth, influence and impact.

About the Role

• This is a leadership role with both operational and strategic responsibility. You will:
• Provide leadership and line management to the Deputy Manager, Senior Administrator and a skilled team of support workers
• Lead the delivery of trauma-informed, strengths-based, person-centred support
• Develop strong partnership networks across local authorities, charities, housing providers and churches
• Shape the future of Keychange’s women’s homelessness strategy across Surrey

Who We’re Looking For

• Substantial experience supporting or managing services for vulnerable individuals

About the Role

We are looking for a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual who will promote and increase engagement with the Humberside ABC Service. The Humberside ABC service provides services to anyone affected by crime and as an Engagement Officer you will work alongside our team to enhance the offer we provide by promoting the service and working with our partners including the police.

As an Engagement Officer you will be responsible for:

• Promoting the work of the service through events and presentations
• Providing training and awareness sessions to partner agencies including Humberside Police
• Maintaining and developing our online presence including updating website information and controlling our social media accounts
• Income generation and identifying fundraising opportunities

We are looking for someone with strong communication skills who is motivated, engaging and innovative. As an Engagement Officer, you will play an integral part in developing and embedding our Criminal Justice Champion (CJC) and Victim Friendly Organisation (VFO) programs across Humberside to ensure that victims have a voice within the criminal justice system and organisations are promoting victim's rights and voices.

You will attend events, network with other agencies and develop and deliver presentations to both internal and external colleagues, community groups and other identified audiences. This means that although the role is home-based, regular travel is required within Humberside and occasionally across the wider region.

About the role

As a Research Grants Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the research funding cycle, from application and peer review through to award management and post‑award administration. You’ll work closely with the Research Grants Manager, internal teams, external experts, and funded researchers to maintain high standards of governance, transparency, and impact across all our research funding activities.

Key responsibilities:

• Support the development, implementation, and management of Macmillan’s research grants programme.
• Create, update, and publish key documentation for each funding round.
• Coordinate expert review panels, including scheduling, logistics, and budget oversight.
• Provide secretariat support for funding panels, including preparing papers, taking minutes, and compiling applicant feedback.
• Manage post‑award processes such as grant agreements, financial tracking, and change requests.
• Monitor reporting compliance and work with Finance to ensure accurate expenditure records.
• Act as the primary point of contact for funded academics, supporting timely reporting and dissemination of research outputs.
• Work with the Communications team to promote research findings and their impact.
• Support internal and external events to strengthen the research community.
• Represent Macmillan at academic conferences and sector events.

About you

The successful candidate will bring:

• Experience in research administration or grant management within an academic, charity, or funding organisation.
• Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience interpreting data and maintaining accurate records to support effective monitoring of funded projects.
• Experience of providing secretariat support for committees or panels
