About the Role

As an Operations Manager, you will lead and manage the delivery of victim services supporting children and young people. You will ensure the provision of high-quality services and compliance with contractual and organisational standards as well as supporting the Area Manager to identify opportunities for service development.

Our Maintenance Team is a vital part of the Asset Management function, working across multiple properties to ensure residents have safe, secure, and good‑quality homes. The team works closely with service staff to identify and complete repairs, carry out ad hoc cleaning and decoration, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and prepare empty properties for new residents.

We operate across Brighton, Guildford, East Sussex, and West Sussex, with our services centred around Foyers in Hove, Eastbourne, Hastings, Guildford, Horsham, Worthing, and Crawley. These sites provide 24‑hour supported housing for young people aged 16–25.

In addition, we manage a number of larger shared houses (typically accommodating 4–8 residents) through our Transitional Housing teams, supporting young people as they move towards independence.

This is an important central role, responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of repairs, servicing, and routine maintenance across our property portfolio of approximately 600 bed units, alongside a number of service and office properties, to provide a positive experience for both residents and staff.

You will be accountable for raising and managing repair requests and void works, coordinating a skilled in‑house repairs team and external contractors, maintaining accurate records, producing performance data, and delivering high‑quality administrative and operational support. The role also plays a key part in supporting compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

We are looking for a Drop-in Support Worker to join the team at MASH as Maternity cover and provide support to women.

Using a gender and trauma-informed approach, the Drop-in Support Worker will manage our city centre Drop-in Centre and support the women who attend. This will involve managing volunteers, providing support and advice to women, and delivering a range of activities.

We are seeking a fixed-term Brand Manager to manage the evolution and development of the Battersea brand to build brand health and ensure it is positioned to support organisational priority areas and the telling of our story.

The Brand Manager will oversee the brand development project to leverage the brand in highlighting unresolved needs and creating urgency, while equipping teams with the tools to act confidently and achieve effective cut-through whilst remaining distinctly Battersea.

Overall Objectives:

• Ensure the brand is positioned to support the communication of the full story of Battersea’s work and can convey why Battersea, and why now, to audiences and supporters.
• Develop and implement guidelines and tools and engagement techniques to convey urgency and need and give clear guidance to internal teams on the use of the Battersea brand.
• Provide brand guardianship and consultation on the strategic use and application of our brand across all partnership activity to ensure consistency, as well as facilitate best-in-class application.
• Monitor key brand metrics to ensure Battersea’s relevance and audiences understanding of our work, so the brand can support wider organisational goals.
• Manage brand reputation by proactively identifying and mitigating brand risks and overseeing trademarking to protect the Battersea brand with internal and external stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively within the Marketing and Communications Directorate and build trusted and positive working relationships with teams across Battersea to embed and enable use of the brand to support our organisational strategy.

Arts for Dementia is an inclusive and dynamic charity, and a leader in our field. We work with artists, galleries, museums and community spaces to offer inspiring arts programmes for people in the early stages of dementia and their companions. We train facilitators from around the country to deliver effective arts-based activities for people living with dementia, and we advocate for the benefits of the arts for people affected by dementia.
