Job description

Charity People are so pleased to work on behalf of a fantastic Counselling and Recovery charity based in London. We are looking for a Trusts and Statutory Manager to develop and implement a strategy for trust and statutory fundraising for this wonderful organisation.

Job Title: Trusts and Statutory Manager
Organisation: Counselling and Recovery Charity
Salary: £35,000 - £37,000
Location: London
Required: CV and Cover Letter
Closing Date: Monday 16th December 2019

We are working with an East London charity who are providing practical help, support and training to people who have been homeless and suffering from addiction. Set up over 50 years ago, the charity was one of the first in the UK to provide shelter to the homeless community. The charity aim to address peoples' needs holistically - from housing, employability, health to social connections - all of which need careful attention to make sure people recover in the long-term.

The Trusts and Statutory Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining links between the charity and trusts, foundations and some local authority funders. Candidates do not have to have experience working on complex bids, this role primarily focuses on Trusts and Foundations and you will gain experience working on bids that are more complex.

There will be an emphasis on securing five and six figure gifts; however, there are reasonable expectations for someone to grow into this role. At the charity, the Fundraising and Communications Team works collaboratively to share ideas, knowledge, skills and experience to create a supportive culture. This is something they are proud of and believe enhances their success.

It's a brilliant role, its ideal for someone specialist in Trusts Fundraising and for someone who is keen to see the direct benefit of their efforts.

If you are interested in the role, please contact [email protected]
