Job description

Lead With Honour — Become the Chief Minister of the Lyonic Scots!

Volunteer Role | Remote | International

Are you a natural leader who enjoys bringing people together, guiding strategy, and helping a community thrive?

Do you want to play a key role in supporting a Clan Chief and representing a growing cultural society on the world stage — no Scottish heritage required?

Then we’d be proud to welcome you as our Chief Minister.

The Lyonic Scots is seeking a confident, diplomatic, and forward‑thinking volunteer to serve as Chief Minister, leading the Lyons Council — the Clan Chief’s international advisory council — and helping promote the Lyonic Scots across the globe.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the Prince of Scots (Clan Chief) in representing and promoting the Lyonic Scots internationally.

  • Leading and coordinating the Lyons Council, the Clan Chief’s senior advisory body.

  • Helping shape the Lyonic Scots global strategy and direction.

  • Encouraging collaboration between international members, volunteers, and regional groups/committees.

  • Acting as a key ambassador for the Lyonic Scots in global outreach.

  • Ensuring communication flows smoothly between the Clan Chief, the Council, and the Society.

What We’re Looking For

  • A strong, approachable leader with excellent communication skills.

  • Someone confident working with people from different countries and backgrounds.

  • Organised, diplomatic, and able to guide discussions and decisions.

  • Passionate about helping a cultural society grow internationally.

  • No need to be Scottish — just bring your leadership, integrity, and enthusiasm.

What You’ll Get

  • A prestigious leadership role supporting the Clan Chief directly.

  • The chance to shape the international future of the Lyonic Scots.

  • Experience in global coordination, cultural leadership, and council management.

  • A supportive team who’ll value your insight, guidance, and commitment.

  • The satisfaction of helping a unique cultural heritage flourish worldwide.

If you’re ready to take on a meaningful international leadership role and help guide the Lyonic Scots into its next chapter, we’d be honoured to hear from you.

Reach out and join us — your leadership could help shape our global future.
