Be at the Heart of Change: Help Us Launch a Brighter, More Connected Tower Hamlets!

Are you passionate about bringing people together? Do you believe that no one in our community should have to feel lonely or isolated?

We are launching a brand-new, grassroots charity right here in Tower Hamlets, and we are looking for a small group of trusted, driven, and visionary volunteer Trustees to help us build it from the ground up. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to reduce loneliness, spark meaningful connections, and strengthen the bonds of our vibrant community through local activities, events, and programmes.

We are starting as a dedicated community project with big dreams to scale up—and we need your energy, skills, and commitment to make it happen.

The Opportunity

As a founding Trustee, you won’t just be sitting on a board; you will be a co-creator of hope. You will play a pivotal role in the official set-up, governance, and launch of this charity. Your strategic guidance, problem-solving abilities, and local passion will shape the foundation of everything we do.

• Diverse Thinkers: We welcome backgrounds in legal, finance, marketing, community organising, fundraising, or simply those with lived experience and a heart for connection.

Time Commitment

As a start-up, we require a flexible commitment of approximately 4–6 hours per month for meetings and foundational tasks during the initial setup phase. Meetings will be held locally in Tower Hamlets and online.
