URBAN YOUTH is building a movement — taking youth work out of old buildings and into the heart of London’s streets, estates, community spaces and creative zones. We’re transforming unused spaces into hubs of energy, opportunity and belonging. We’re delivering youth work that feels modern, exciting and connected to young people’s real lives.

Now we need a Youth Work Lead who can help us design and deliver the programmes that make this movement come alive.

You’ll be the creative engine behind our youth work offer — designing, co‑creating and delivering programmes that inspire, empower and elevate young Londoners.

This role is perfect for someone who:

• Has experience working with young people

• Knows how to design youth programmes that feel relevant and exciting

• Understands youth culture, creativity and community

• Wants to build a start-up youth work model that breaks the mould

Your Mission

As Youth Work Lead, you will:

• Create and co-design youth work programmes across creativity, sports, personal development, wellbeing, media, culture and more

• Deliver sessions that feel energetic, engaging and youth-led

• Work directly with young people to build confidence, skills and community

• Transform unused spaces into pop-up youth zones full of life and opportunity

• Collaborate with volunteers to deliver high-quality, safe, inclusive youth work

• Shape programme strategy and help define what URBAN YOUTH stands for

• Champion youth voice and embed co-design into everything we do

• Support safeguarding, wellbeing and positive engagement

Your leadership will help us build programmes that young people want to be part of — programmes that change lives.
