Key Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Overall responsibility for delivering high-quality, accurate, compliant and commercially sound proposals on time, to budget, with inputs from key stakeholders.
- Responsible for the coordination and management of all Bid activities, for ensuring that Bid Plans are put in place and that all internal inputs are received promptly to meet Bid submission timescales.
- Responsible for the receipt, management, control and coordination of all external and internal information and documentation with respect to the enquiry and for the team acting as custodian for Bid documents, including all approved internal documentation signed by the Organisation.
- Responsible for compliance with all internal Bid policies and procedures and for passing internal and external audits.
- Contribute to the overall Bid strategy alongside other stakeholders.
- Responsible for the overall leadership of the team and ensuring that individuals within the team are given appropriate opportunities to grow and develop, and that the team maximises performance by creating and fostering a positive, can-do attitude and outlook on an ongoing basis.
- Responsibility to ensure that improvements are identified and those agreed upon are implemented continuously to support the growth and development of the team and those within it.
- There is a need to keep good records and to create and measure metrics on bidding performance to both review performance and drive continuous improvement in a key area of the business.
- Responsible for mentoring and training Bid Managers and Bid Writers to ensure they are up to date with bid requirements and improve their competence.

- At least three years of experience in successfully leading teams within a bid environment.

About Sanata Charitable Trust
The Sanata Charitable Trust is a registered charity and consists of two Trusts, one based in the United Kingdom, the other in Gilgil, Kenya. The purpose of the UK Trust is to generate funds for the development and ongoing costs of the Restart Africa Children’s Centre.
Restart Africa children’s home was established in 2008 in response to the desperate needs of street children in Gilgil who are at serious risk of violence, abuse and starvation. Receiving no government funding, the centre is fully reliant on donations and sponsorship to finance operations. About the Role
The Marketing/Fundraising lead trustee role is being developed as part of our strategy to raise the profile of Restart Africa and diversify donation streams to ensure we grow sustainable financial foundations to underpin the amazing work of the Restart Africa centre.
In addition to this Trustee role, we are also in the process of investing in a Marketing and Communications Executive which is a full time, permanent role based onsite at the Restart Africa centre. Main Trustee responsibilities:

We are seeking a purpose-driven, experienced and visionary Chair of the Board of Trustees to lead Wildscreen into its next exciting chapter. The Chair will provide strategic leadership, governance, and support our small but mighty team to ensure the organisation continues to thrive and expand its influence within the international natural history media and environmental not for profit sectors. This role is crucial in guiding Wildscreen’s mission and vision, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, and ensuring robust financial and operational health.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leadership and Governance: Lead the Board of Trustees in ensuring Wildscreen has a clear strategic direction and uses its resources to effectively deliver its charitable objectives. Ensuring the organisation complies with legal and regulatory requirements the Board operates effectively and with high governance standards. Providing leadership and support and appraising the performance of the Chief Executive Officer and where appropriate, other members of the Executive Team. Participating in and ensuring Board induction, training and effectiveness is undertaken and reviewed annually.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Board, Executive Team, and key stakeholders to develop and implement Wildscreen’ s strategic plan. Drive the organisation’s vision and objectives forward, ensuring alignment with its mission and values.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as an ambassador for Wildscreen, fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders, including funders, partners, education and community groups, and sector bodies.
- Financial Oversight: Work with the Board and Executive Team to ensure the financial stability and sustainability of the organisation. Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and risk management processes.
- Fundraising and Development: Support and guide fundraising initiatives, including identifying new opportunities and cultivating relationships with donors, sponsors, and funding bodies.
- Community and Inclusivity: Promote Wildscreen’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Encourage programmes and initiatives that engage with diverse audiences and reflect the community’s needs.
- Performance and Evaluation: Monitor and evaluate the performance of the organisation against strategic goals and objectives. Ensure continuous improvement and responsiveness to changing needs in the international media landscape.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Strategic Leadership: Demonstrable experience in a senior leadership or governance role within a complex organisation, preferably within the creative industries, environmental, purposedriven or not-for-profit sectors.
- Governance Expertise: Strong understanding of governance, with a track record of effectively chairing boards or committees and ensuring accountability and transparency.
- Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to engage, influence, and build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including funders, partners, and community groups.
- Financial Acumen: Solid understanding of financial management, with experience in overseeing budgets, financial planning, and risk management.
- Fundraising Capability: Experience in supporting fundraising activities, identifying funding opportunities, and engaging with donors and sponsors.
- Commitment to Diversity: A strong commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, with the ability to champion these values across the organisation and its programmes.
- Passion for Nature and Storytelling: A genuine passion for the power of storytelling with an understanding of the essential role Wildscreen plays in convening important conversations, celebrating the world’s best natural world storytellers and enabling equitable access for all in the UK and internationally.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire, influence, and engage with a wide range of audiences.
- Time and Commitment: The ability to commit sufficient time to fulfil the responsibilities of the role. We estimate a time commitment of 10 days per annum to account for quarterly board meetings, annual away day, monthly CEO support, events, subcommittee meetings (such as governance and finance committee) reading of Board papers and other organisational activities. Occasionally, trustees will be asked to join specific subcommittees or working groups with the wider team and externals where their area of expertise is particularly relevant.

Role Summary
Quilombo UK is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Services Sales Specialist to join our team as a self-employed contractor. This is a crucial, target-driven, commission-only role focused on generating revenue by converting prospective service users into paying clients.The successful candidate will gain direct, high-impact sales experience that mirrors the standards and performance expectations of a paid sales position, with the added benefit of earning commission on all confirmed deals.
Compensation Structure
● Payment Basis: This is a commission-only, self-employed contractor position. There is no fixed salary or hourly wage. The specialist is responsible for invoicing Quilombo UK monthly for earned commission.
● Commission: Commission is earned per converted sale, payable only after the customer’s second monthly payment is successfully processed.
○ Standard £200 ePDP Sale: £25 commission
○ Subsidized £100 Sale: £10 commission
○ 2-Month Rolling Sale: £65 commission
● Payment Schedule: Commission earned is paid monthly, 30 days after receipt of the monthly invoice from the specialist, following the trigger (receipt of the customer's second payment) being confirmed.
Main Responsibilities
This is a target-driven, client-facing role responsible for the full sales cycle:
● Lead Generation: Proactively research and identify prospective clients aligned with Quilombo UK’s mission and services.
● Outreach & Pitching: Initiate direct outreach (calls, emails, online meetings) with clients directly.
● Closing Deals: Deliver compelling sales pitches and presentations, handle end-to-end sales processes, and secure contracts for services.
● Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain a strong client pipeline, updating CRM or tracking systems regularly.
● Performance: Consistently meet or exceed weekly/monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to outreach, meetings, and revenue conversions.
