About the role
We are seeking a Community Fundraising Officer to lead and deliver a small number of high-impact virtual fundraising challenges and supporter-led events each year.
This role exists to generate lumpy, time-bound income spikes through well-executed campaigns.
This is a delivery-focused, commercially minded position suited to someone who is comfortable working with data, managing budgets, and being accountable for results.
Key responsibilities
Virtual fundraising challenges (core responsibility):
- Designing and delivering 3–4 virtual fundraising challenges per year.
- Managing each challenge end-to-end, including campaign concept and structure, participant onboarding and journey, fundraising targets, timelines, delivery, and wrap-up.
- Running private Facebook Groups or similar community spaces during live challenge periods.
- Managing paid incentives and paid social advertising budgets.
- Ensuring challenges are repeatable, scalable, and cost-effective.
Supporter-led and external events
- Coordinating and promoting participation in:
- Run for Charity events
- Overseas challenge events (e.g. treks)
- Peer-to-peer fundraising (e.g. birthday fundraisers or evergreen P2P)
- Acting as the main point of contact for supporters taking part
- Providing clear guidance, materials, and support while keeping delivery light-touch
Income, data & performance
- Owning net income targets for each campaign
- Monitoring and analysing campaign performance
- Tracking: Spend, Cost per lead, Activation rates, Funds raised.
- Reporting clearly on outcomes, learning, and recommendations
- Continuously refining formats to improve performance year-on-year
About you
You will bring:
- Experience in community fundraising, events fundraising, or supporter-led campaigns
- Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver campaigns to deadline
- High-performance mindset with confidence working to clear income targets and demonstrating Return on Investment (ROI)
- Proficiency with digital platforms and tools such as:Meta Ads, FundraiseUp and/or Raisely, Google Analytics.
- Comfort interpreting data and adjusting campaigns based on performance
- The ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
- Alignment with AWIP’s mission and comfort working in a justice-led organisation
Experience delivering virtual fundraising challenges or digitally driven campaigns is highly desirable.

Purpose of Post: The post holder will lead on the delivery of our volunteer programme. You will be responsible for the recruitment of new volunteers and the support of existing volunteers and volunteer contacts to maintain a positive volunteer experience.

This role is crucial for maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of our volunteer activities, enabling us to support more people in our community.
This post holder will work towards achieving a Hear Us Volunteer Accreditation as part of ensuring good practice for our staff and volunteers, and developing the future creative direction of our volunteering offer.
Given the collaborative and engagement-focused nature of this role, and its direct delivery responsibilities, regular face-to-face working is required, with the post-holder based primarily in the office and attending events and community activities as needed.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
· Develop and support different techniques to attract lived experience volunteers to Hear Us to build a strong and diverse volunteer base

Volunteer Database Management
· Manage the volunteer database by maintaining an accurate record of Hear Us volunteers, including but not limited to activity status, address, and communication preferences on Hear Us database(s).
· Ensure all recruitment checks are completed and accurate volunteer records are held in compliance with the Data Protection Act and GDPR.
Linkwork Project Support
· Act as a deputy for the Peer Support Coordinator where required, in managing a small, vibrant team of peer support volunteer Linkworkers (all of who are current or former mental health service users).
· Assist with Linkworking Project support, such as supporting volunteers in signing up for the SLaM Involvement Register, arranging an induction with Hear Us and introducing peer support Linkworkers to wards and services.
· In the absence of the Peer Support Coordinator, organise and manage the peer support Linkworking rota, finding cover where necessary, ensuring as few sessions are cancelled as possible.
· In the absence of the Peer Support Coordinator, maintain good relations with the SLaM Involvement Register, and submit peer support Linkworkers’ timesheets as required.
· In the absence of the Peer Support Coordinator, ensure the ongoing delivery of Linkworking Sessions
· Help monitor the peer support Linkworking Project, evaluating its effectiveness on improving services and gathering feedback from service users, Linkworkers, and SLaM staff.
· Gather and provide peer support Linkworkers with signposting material and information that can be shared with service users.
Stakeholder Management
· Work in partnership with the Peer Support Coordinator, Engagement and Campaigns Manager, Welfare Rights Manager, Events Coordinator, Deputy CEO, CEO, trustees, and other staff members to achieve the charity's aims and ensure stability and longevity for Hear Us and its members.
· Represent Hear Us on appropriate external committees, networks and other bodies, with other voluntary, statutory and private sector agencies.
· Work on volunteer incentives, recognition and reward schemes across the year.
Other Duties
· Attend supervision and identify your own training and support needs with your supervisor.
· Develop and maintain a healthy working practice for yourself and the volunteers (including peer support Linkworkers) by having clear personal and professional boundaries.

We have seen significant growth in the number and usage of our helplines and now seek to recruit a second Helplines Operations Manager to ensure we have a management structure capable of coping with further growth.
As one of two Helplines Operations Managers, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of ISWAN’s helplines to ensure our services provide accurate information, appropriate advice, and comprehensive support to seafarers and their families.
You will manage the development of Salesforce and be familiar with Salesforce reporting, particularly using advanced tools like Power BI and Tableau. You will be confident liaising with our IT support service on system issues and developments.
We have no preconceptions about where the successful applicant will come from but you will bring experience of managing multi-channelled contact centre operations and best practice as well as delivering user and client service improvements.
You will need to be capable of working effectively within a complex international context and have sound experience of service development. The Mobilisation and Delivery Project Manager is the operational engine of the programme, ensuring that every workstream is scoped, resourced, sequenced, delivered and evidenced, and that Kinship is trial-ready, compliant, and well-coordinated through set-up and delivery.
This role needs someone who is an excellent communicator, highly organised, unflappable, curious, and able to sit comfortably in the detail. The successful person will keep a firm grip on timelines, dependencies and risks.
You will manage a Programmes Officer as well as the set-up, processes, documentation, reporting, trial readiness, communications and cross-team coordination. You will work closely with the Programmes Manager who will share responsibility for ensuring high quality performance across the feasibility trial. You will both work closely with the core project team and partners.
You will lead operational quality, systems, processes, data, and compliance. The Programmes Manager will lead practice quality, staff development and supervision, safeguarding and relational delivery. Together you make sure the trial is delivered ethically, consistently and to a very high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the mobilisation plan across all workstreams and ensure trial readiness.
- Develop all processes, documentation and operational frameworks in line with the intervention protocol.

This role leads and supports the staff team delivering one-to-one navigator-style support to kinship carers as part of the Kinship Connected feasibility randomised controlled trial. You will ensure the team provides consistent, high quality, relational support that reflects Kinship’s values and trauma-informed practice.
You will work closely with the Mobilisation and Delivery Project Manager and will share responsibility for ensuring high quality performance across the feasibility trial. You will both work closely with the core project team and partners.
The Programmes Manager leads practice quality, staff development, safeguarding and relational delivery. The Mobilisation and Delivery Project Manager leads operational quality, systems, processes, data and compliance. Together you make sure the trial is delivered ethically, consistently and to a very high standard.
Key responsibilities include:

Lead the day-to-day practice and relational delivery of the Kinship Connected (Navigator) support model.

Support Kinship Family Workers to deliver high quality, trauma-informed and strengths-based support to kinship carers.

Ensure clear case management, boundaries, risk management and reflective practice.

Embed the delivery approach set out in the Intervention Protocol and Kinship Navigator Service Manual.

Ensure equity, accessibility and inclusion in all aspects of delivery, with particular focus on minoritised ethnic kinship families.

Maintain delivery tracking and operational dashboards.

Provide high quality line management, reflective supervision and pastoral support to Kinship Family Workers
Essential knowledge and experience includes:

Strong experience leading frontline delivery teams providing emotional, relational or social care support.

Proven track record ensuring high quality casework, assessments, boundaries and risk management.

Experience delivering strengths-based, trauma-informed and evidence-informed approaches.

Substantial experience in line managing practitioners, delivering reflective supervision and supporting wellbeing.

Experience leading high performing dispersed teams with confidence, consistency and compassion.

Experience managing change and supporting staff through shifting delivery requirements.

Strong background in safeguarding decision making, case discussions and organisational safeguarding culture.

About the Role
We're looking for a compassionate and driven Service Manager to join our residential service based in Havering. This role supports residents in temporary housing who are facing challenges with substance use. As a Service Manager, you’ll lead a dedicated team, making sure we deliver high quality support, performance and improvements across our service whilst representing values of the organisation. You'll play a hands on role in supporting individuals facing addiction, homelessness, and complex needs guiding them towards stability, independence, and brighter futures.
The service focuses on providing a 24 hour, 25 bed accommodation service to residents who are deemed to be high risk. They support those who are experiencing homelessness. All admissions are jointly agreed, and placements reviewed at a weekly Complex Needs Panel chaired by the local authority. Residents are agreed on the basis that they are:

- Overseeing support related to substance misuse, ensuring effective interventions and pathways for service users
- Line Management and Leadership, supporting your team providing advice, guidance and support throughout their employment lifecycle
- Support the Service Manager in leading the day to day operational delivery of the service
- Risk Management ownership, ensuring processes and policies are followed
- Property and Housing Management, ensuring the accommodation meets our requirements, and repairs and maintenance are regularly reported and completed
- Financial Management, including petty cash and budget management
- Contract management and Internal auditing, admin, and general other duties as required
About You
We are seeking a passionate, driven and motivated colleague to lead this service in a trauma informed and inclusive way. Someone who is knowledgeable in the needs of our residents, particularly substance misuse and can support the team in delivering excellence. You will be driven with passion for what we do, and be able to work flexibly to meet service needs, providing new ideas and opportunities to develop the service further to continue to achieve excellence!
- Understanding and/or practical knowledge of the social and societal marginalisation that can be attached to people with substance abuse issues, addiction, exploitation, homelessness and within the criminal justice system
- Previous leadership experience
- Experience of working with confidently and ability to provide advice, lead a team on all aspects of the service such as resident related enquiries which can include housing, substance abuse support, signposting
- Ability to motivate and empower a team to achieve service KPI's through direct leadership
- Willingness and ability to work flexibly to meet service needs
- IT Proficiency, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to navigate and learn new case management systems and other types of organisational software

About this role
The Veterinary Adviser will join SPANA’s team of advisers in the Global Animal Health and Welfare Directorate (AHW), which is closely aligned with the Global Programmes Department.
