What’s the Role?
The Central Support Officer will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth delivery of the charity’s activities. You’ll lead on event coordination, office management, and provide essential support to our volunteer, wellbeing, and services teams. Your responsibilities will include:
- Event Coordination: Organising internal and external events, ensuring logistics, safeguarding, and health and safety policies are followed.
- Office Management: Overseeing the Manchester office, managing suppliers, liaising with the landlord, and keeping the workspace functional.
- Volunteer Engagement: Supporting and managing communications with volunteers, trustees, and ambassadors, ensuring they feel informed and valued.
- Team Support: Assisting wellbeing and services teams with bookings, project delivery, and resource development.
- Compliance & Administration: Developing and maintaining effective systems to support the charity’s operational objectives.
What We’re Looking For:

- At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within a charity.

About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Centre Manager to lead our Wellbeing Centre in the heart of Partington. This is not just any role; it's an opportunity to make a real impact! The ability to speak Bengali/Sylheti would be highly beneficial, as you will be working closely with the Bangladeshi community. Local knowledge of Tower Hamlets and its communities would be an asset, but is not essential. We are very keen to hear from candidates with lived experience relevant to this role, from experienced Volunteer Managers, and from people who are passionate about improving health and employment outcomes for marginalised communities.

The Museums Association is seeking a part-time (18 hours per week spread over 3 or 4 days Monday to Thursday) Health and Wellbeing in Museums Project Officer to deliver the Health and Wellbeing in Museums Fund, supported by the Julia Rausing Trust, for 24 months.
The fund is a grants programme supporting UK museums to develop and continue sector-leading health and wellbeing work through a time of financial crisis and to embed excellent practice.
The project officer is at the centre of this programme as advisor and facilitator for museum applicants and grantees; lead for comms and learning dissemination in the UK museum sector; and link to external evaluators to understand and enhance the impact of this programme.
The project officer will report to the grants manager and work closely with her on programme development. While the role is fixed term for two years, there is potential to continue working on monitoring and evaluation at a reduced level at the end of this period.
The ideal candidate will have a good knowledge of the museums sector and be a great listener and communicator. You’ll be excited by the prospect of championing best practice in health and wellbeing in museums. The Role:
This role is for our outreach services where we work with local authorities and other commissioning bodies to provide statutory education and wellbeing packages for vulnerable young people who are often not able to attend school due to special educational needs and mental health needs
We are looking for practitioners based in the Bristol and wider North Somerset area, who are willing and able to travel across the city and surrounding areas to offer tutoring and/or mentoring across a range of subjects, but with a specific focus on Maths, Sciences, English and other core subjects to support people up to the age of 25.
This is a part-time self-employed role with competitive sessional pay. Sessions often take place within family homes, the local communities or sometimes in schools or community based settings.

We are looking for an Emotional Wellbeing Practitioner to plan, deliver and support LGBTQ+ children and young people. This role involves working with children and young people identified as requiring emotional wellbeing support through face to face, virtual and group sessions. The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced healthcare profession/health related professional to join our existing team of Wellbeing Consultants embedded within established UK GenesisCare cancer treatment centres.
This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with patients, relatives, GenesisCare staff team and Wellbeing consultant team and the wider Penny Brohn UK organization. We are looking for a professional who can work in a flexible, proactive, intelligent, and creative way. Candidates should have experience of working within private or national health related services and have knowledge, experience/understanding of complementary therapies or other support services.
Key role considerations
- This role will involve working alongside our partner GenesisCare to ensure a holistic approach is taken in aspects of support and treatment.
- The bulk of the patient work is delivery of one-to-one sessions – completing holistic needs assessments, review appointments, consultations, mindfulness, and relaxation sessions.
- The Wellbeing Consultant is responsible for ensuring that patients and their relatives have a positive experience as they move through the Penny Brohn UK treatment support services at GenesisCare.

This role will be involved in the delivery of an early intervention, facilitated self-help service, for Children and Young People, within several primary care settings across West Kent.
Job Description
About the role
This is an exciting time to join us as we launch our Early Intervention Service for Children and Young people across West Kent. The successful candidate will be working with Children and Young people aged 11 to 18 delivering a range of prevention and early intervention activities within primary care.
The activities will consist of providing one to one mental health awareness sessions offering facilitated self-help provision to individuals. Based at West Kent Mind’s offices in Sevenoaks but will be working primarily in Tunbridge Wells to start with and as the programme develops, expanding into Sevenoaks and Tonbridge at a later stage.
Key Objectives include but are not limited to:
· To deliver supported and guided self-help to children and young people (CYP) through our Early Intervention Service to improve overall mental wellbeing.
· The promotion of wellbeing, early intervention, and community engagement as core principles guiding the organisation’s activities.
· Support the use and maintenance of office and team related information recording systems (Beacon CRM) to monitor client journeys and service impact.
· Network with other agencies to establish effective and mutually beneficial partnerships and pathways.
Person specification
Who You Are
All previous experience may be paid or voluntary, full, or part-time, in the UK or overseas.
1. You have worked in an office, GP-based setting, school, or other environments supporting Children and Young People.
2. Ideally, you have at least six months’ experience working with Children and Young People or in a mental health setting.
3. You have experience in monitoring and evaluation, delivering services, and achieving outcomes and objectives.
4. You are an excellent team player, capable of working effectively as part of a diverse and dispersed team.
5. You have strong project management skills, consistently delivering results against targets, objectives, and deadlines.
6. You excel at building and managing relationships and facilitating workshops for young people.
7. You possess a sound understanding of the CAMHS framework, common mental health problems e.g. stress anxiety, depression and potential issues that Children/Young Persons may face
8. You possess a working knowledge of NICE guidelines for treating mental health issues in Children and Young people.
9. You are knowledgeable about child and adult safeguarding.

Key Responsibilities
- Effectively deliver a facilitated self-help service and drop-in provision across West Kent.
- Manage a caseload of clients (Children and Young People), ensuring effective client contact and communication.
- Collaborate with the CYP Project Lead to oversee the client caseload.
- Meet Service Level Agreement requirements, including data collection and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) like attendance and recovery rates.
- Address client issues without bias.
- Support Children and Young People in decision-making and refer them to appropriate sources of help as appropriate and needed.
- Provide up to seven facilitated self-help sessions per client.
- Manage waiting lists for service settings.
- Handle feedback, issues, or complaints with guidance from the CYP Project Lead.
- Ensure accurate completion of client paperwork and outcome monitoring forms for service evaluation and reporting to funders.
- Develop the role to meet evolving service specifications.
- Promote the service and engage children, young people, and trusted adults, while advocating general wellbeing.

Age UK Mid Mersey are offering a great opportunity to join our professional, innovative and dedicated team to help launch a new lottery funded Maintenance Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (MCST) programme in Mid Mersey’s four boroughs: Halton, Knowsley, St Helens and Warrington.
Maintenance Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (MCST) is a weekly group programme for people living with mild to moderate dementia or cognitive impairment.
Group members take part in meaningful and stimulating activities, proven to help maintain memory and mental functioning. The groups provide a fun, supportive environment where people can build new friendships.
Activities include:
- discussions
- word games
- quizzes
- physical activities
- creative and musical activities.
Cognitive Stimulation is the only non-drug treatment recommended to improve cognition, independence and well-being by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE).
Alongside the MCST group sessions the programme will also provide advice, information and facilitated peer support for the carers of groups members.
The MCST Team Leader will lead a small team of MCST group facilitators, Carer Support workers and volunteers.
The Team Leader will plan programmes, provide support and supervision to staff, and ensure compliance with relevant guidelines and standards. They will be responsible for undertaking initial assessment visits with clients in their own homes to ensure the MCST programme is appropriate for them.
Travel across Mid-Mersey is expected so the post holder must have access to their own vehicle and a full clean driving licence.
Full training in MCST will be provided alongside management training and mentoring.

The Children's Society have launched our new Time for young people support space in Plaistow, Newham and are looking for wellbeing practitioners to be a part of this team. We are now looking to recruit Wellbeing Practitioners with youth work, therapeutic, and trauma informed skills to deliver 1-1 interventions and group work sessions with young people both at the hub, and through additional delivery sites in the community.
