To plan, prepare and teach online (initially) courses for adults within the WEA programme of work, as agreed with the appropriate Education Coordinator. To carry out the administrative tasks required in each programme area. - Plan, deliver (online using Zoom) and report on your course, using methods and materials appropriate to the student group and course content. Where a course is inappropriate for a student direct them to another course or provider. Deal appropriately with individual student support needs, using the appropriate forms and recording the required evidence as per the guidelines provided. Advice or assistance can be provided by the Education Coordinator, Education Support Assistant or the Tutor Support Team in the relevant Support Centre;
- Comply with the WEA policy on Equality and Diversity so that all students are treated with respect and dignity in an environment in which a diversity of backgrounds and experience is valued. Deal with any harassment or discrimination issues that arise;
- Discuss Learning Outcomes or Moderation Requirements with students as the course proceeds;

- Where appropriate, attend moderation meetings;
- Maintain contact with your Education Coordinator, and inform her/him immediately of any changes, cancellations, or other significant problems. - Represent the WEA throughout the course;

As Lead Worker, you will be expected to:

You will be part of a team reporting to a Team Leader and Service Manager. We will provide a supportive work environment and appropriate IT equipment, including a smart phone and laptop. You will have the freedom to manage your caseload as you see fit, supporting your service users to achieve the best outcomes for them. Working collaboratively with your colleagues and other agencies, you will receive regular supervision from your Team Leader who will be there to support and encourage you.

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Procurement Manager to join our Procurement team, to specifically support the delivery of our multi-million pound Health and Social Care contract.
You will use your commercial focus and expertise to drive best practise in the project, category managing all aspects of spend from RfQs for tail-end to tendering for large project procurements. You will find yourself constantly challenged to come up with innovative ways of thinking and working closely with stakeholders to lead on procurement strategy, driving value for money, strategic projects and managing the supply chain.
You will get involved in a huge variety of projects, from ICT equipment to Marketing and Events, and everything in-between – this means you’ll need to be dynamic and flexible and able to manage your own time well. You’ll also look after the management of KPIs and the development and delivery of a supply chain map for the team, and will ensure all administration is carried out in a timely manner.
This is an exciting role that the ideal applicant can really make their own and would suit someone who is a self-starter with energy and drive, and a good background of procurement.

What will I be doing?
As a Locality Manager you will lead from the front, providing a positive example to your team of good practice, ensuring that all within your team support people to be the best they can possibly be. Our Locality Managers our accountable for ensuring they facilitate and lead a safe practice, ensuring high quality support which meets all organisational and statutory requirements, and complies with both CQC and Discovery Guidelines. What will I need?
Above all Locality Managers need to be committed to making a difference to the lives of the people we support, and be able to demonstrate our organisational values. In addition, you will need:
- Experience of working with people who have learning disabilities or autism.
- Experience of leading, developing and mentoring a team
- A level 4 Leadership and Management for Care qualification (or equivalent) or be willing to undertake and complete this qualification within 18 months.
- Knowledge and understanding of CQC guidelines and relevant legislation.
