Transform Justice is a national charity working for a fair, open and compassionate justice system. We believe that evidence about what works to reduce crime and prevent reoffending should be at the heart of policy decisions and embedded into practice.

The role
We are seeking a dynamic senior campaigns and communications officer to drive our public impact. You will lead communications for our high-profile FairChecks campaign for criminal records reform, coordinate our popular podcast, and elevate the digital presence of Transform Justice. This is a multi-faceted role combining grassroots movement-building, digital marketing, and creative content production.
The role is home-based and you will use your own equipment, so you will need to be able to work on your own with little day-to-day supervision. There is the option to work at an office in Old Street, London up to two days a week with other Transform Justice team members. The team also meets regularly online and for fortnightly in-person team meetings in London.

Role Summary
The main function of the Careers Coordinator (Work Experience) role is to develop, support and deliver Into Film’s Screen Careers Work Experience programmes. What we do
PRHA is a specialist Housing Association and adult social care provider focused on East London, mainly Tower Hamlets and the City, Hackney and Southwark. We help people who are homeless (or at risk of becoming homeless) to help themselves through a wide range of residential and non-residential services. As well as having suffered the crisis of homelessness, many of our residents have support needs relating to substance misuse, poor mental and physical health.
Our services include permanent and temporary housing, support to live independently, resettlement preparation and support, access to employment, training & education and money management advice.
Our support services are underpinned by a commitment to Psychologically Informed Environments and personalised support.

Mind in Enfield and Barnet provides much needed therapy, wellbeing support and advocacy services to people with mental health problems.
The Advocacy, Advice and Information department works to empower people and communities, and challenge stigma and disadvantage caused by Mental Health problems. They champion individual's voices, uphold their rights, and promote personal autonomy through the provision of high-quality information, advice, and advocacy support.
The Forensic Advocate will provide professional advocacy to all eligible patients. The role will ensure that patients voices are heard and respected, rights upheld, and facilitate positive engagement with ward staff, professionals involved in their care, treatment planning processes, and relevant meetings. This may be facilitated through attendance at patient's forums, ward meetings, working with patients on a one-to-one basis providing information, representation and support to develop self-advocacy skills; and developing new forums and forms of support.
Key responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have some experience of working in a Forensic Advocacy role, as well as working in an Inpatient setting, and in an Advocacy role. You will have good knowledge of Mental Health Act 2007, Mental Capacity Act 2005 and other relevant legislation.
You also be able to demonstrate the following skills:
This role is providing specialist advocacy for 12 Forensic Wards at Chase Farm Hospital and in community locations, covering six roles each with a 2nd advocate.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The Associate Solicitor will conduct civil litigation in Britain and oversee cases in England and Wales. The role requires a qualified solicitor with experience of running litigious cases. We are seeking to expand our work in Britain to include civil discrimination claims, actions against the state, and media law work. The post-holder will have particular expertise in one or more of these areas. Our cases also involve data rights, freedom of information, charity law, education law, international humanitarian law, and defamation issues. The post holder will join a growing team that consists of a Senior Legal Officer, Legal Officer and a Junior Legal Officer. In addition, our British work team has an Advocacy and Communication Manager and two researchers who monitor anti-Palestinian repression.
