About the role
Are you passionate about tackling health inequalities and empowering people to take control of their wellbeing? We’re looking for a dedicated Health Advocate to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of people experiencing homelessness.
In this vital role, you will:
- Provide health advocacy and practical support to clients experiencing homelessness.
- Help clients monitor their health needs, register with appropriate services, attend appointments, and communicate confidently with health professionals.
- Use your experience and determination to challenge health professionals and systems when needed, ensuring your clients’ voices are heard and respected.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and the Project Coordinator to identify issues and continuously improve the quality and impact of our service.
Tackling health inequalities within the homelessness sector is at the heart of what we do. You’ll play a key role in driving change — advocating for individuals while challenging statutory services and systems to do better.

About you
- Personal experience of homelessness
You must have experienced homelessness yourself.

You understand the challenges people face when trying to get healthcare while homeless. - Knowledge of local support services

You can work well with peer volunteers and clients, following guidance around professional boundaries and safeguarding to keep everyone safe and supported.

About you

As Campaigns Assistant, you’ll support the delivery of impactful campaigns led by our Campaign Managers and support high-profile projects like World Animal Day and various events.
To be considered, we’ll be looking for motivated, resilient candidates with relevant experience or skills developed in an animal welfare (or related) degree or more general public policy and campaigning. The successful candidate would need to be organised, with a sharp eye for detail, able to deliver projects on time, whilst working as part of a team. You’ll need a strong ability to multi-task and prioritise, as no day is ever the same.
This is a full time or part time permanent role offering a salary around £23,000, depending on skills and experience.

It underpins all of our work – we advocate for a greater focus on preventing abuse before it happens, not just within the halls of parliament but through all aspects of our work from frontline practice to influencing national policy.
This role sits within the wider Advocacy and Communications Team which supports the promotion of all areas of our work across various channels: websites, social media, press and PR, marketing and digital advertising. Working with the wider team, we are striving to better showcase our advocacy work both internally and externally.

Role Overview
The Supporter Care Team are looking to hire two Supporter Care Assistant posts who’ll provide excellent customer care; engaging, involving and inspiring all supporters of Crohn’s and Colitis UK through building excellent relationships via a variety of communication channels. The role will involve dealing with donations, ensuring that our records are kept updated on our database, running reports, and undertaking general admin duties.
About You
You’ll have experience of working in a similar role, providing a high standard of customer care in a fast-paced environment, handling supporter queries and providing information in a concise and comprehensive manner. You'll need strong written and verbal communication skills to write engaging and inspiring content and messaging, you'll also be skilled at listening and responding to queries appropriately and be comfortable and effective at managing challenging situations.

The Communications Coordinator will support colleagues across the team to deliver engaging, accessible and effective communications that help prevent child sexual abuse. You’ll play a vital role in supporting our digital channels, campaigns and content creation - from social media and newsletters to website updates and printed materials. Here are some of the skills we’re looking for and we’re happy to support the right candidate to grow and learn on the job:
- Confident using social media to reach different audiences and be able to design multimedia content that’s engaging and on-brand.

- Familiar with website content management systems (like WordPress) and ideally have some experience with paid digital campaigns (e.g. Google Ads, Meta).

The role:

The External Affairs Assistant will be an integral part of a small but high-performing team that leads CoSRH’s advocacy and public profile — influencing national policy, supporting stakeholder engagement, and amplifying the voice of sexual and reproductive healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Parliamentary and Policy Support
· Support the work of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Sexual and Reproductive Health (APPG on SRH), including preparing briefings, arranging meetings, drafting minutes and supporting stakeholder engagement.
· Assist in drafting policy briefings, consultation responses, and submissions to Government and other stakeholders.
· Conduct research to inform CoSRH’s external engagement, campaigns and influencing priorities.

Media and Communications Support

As Temporary Global Corporate Engagement Coordinator, you will support global corporate engagement work by recording and maintaining data on cage-free and broiler chicken welfare policies and providing crucial administrative support to the team. You will manage our research databases and conduct research on food companies, finding corporate policies, company contacts, and other information to inform global campaigns and corporate relations work. You will also work closely with members of the Open Wing Alliance (OWA), our global coalition of animal protection groups, to share data and progress, and you’ll coordinate with member organizations and/or third parties to translate global commitments into key languages.
You are passionate about The Humane League’s mission of ending the abuse of animals raised for food and are keen to use data to support this work. While working autonomously is an important part of this role, the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders will also be paramount to your success. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Update and maintain THL’s global commitment tracking database by transferring, fact-checking, and proofreading data submitted by other animal welfare organizations. Keep policy information, corporate contacts, translations, and other details up to date in the database and other tracking documents so that progress and statistics can be shared internally and externally.
- Maintain our database of country-level cage-free information to inform global corporate relations work. Track relevant information on countries’ cage-free status, major commitments, legislation, and more.
- Work with the OWA to collect key language translations of global cage-free and broiler chicken commitments so that groups around the world can leverage commitments in their respective regions.
- Assist with setting the Global Corporate Engagement team’s strategy, bringing a data lens to inform strategic decisions.
- Independently perform research on food companies to support global campaigns and corporate negotiations, finding details such as executive contact information, existing animal welfare policies, corporate brand portfolios, worldwide locations, and more.
- Refine the team’s list of hundreds of global companies in order to identify the top companies to prioritize. Annually update data on the top global companies, tracking their revenue, number of locations, countries of operation, welfare commitments, and more.
- Carry out administrative duties for team meetings including scheduling, agenda creation, note-taking, and facilitation.
- Create presentations for OWA corporate engagement webinars. Co-lead presentations and provide tech support as needed.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Compensation and Benefits
The annual compensation range for this role is:
- $56,895 - $69,539 USD for candidates based in the United States
- $56,269 - $68,773 CAD for candidates based in Canada
- £34,086 - £41,661 GBP for candidates based in the United Kingdom
- R$23,200- R$34,800 for candidates based in Brazil
- $34,060,829- $51,091,243 COP for candidates based in Colombia
Compensation ranges for candidates based in other locations will be determined prior to extending an offer.
