Job description

Breck Foundation has obtained funding for a full-time Programme Coordinator to further develop an already successful programme of Breck Ambassadors who give peer-on-peer training within their schools to engage and empower their peers to keep safer online by learning about Breck's real-life story.  The Breck Ambassadors learn to teach their school peers about grooming, exploitation, digital resilience and how to better recognize unhealty relationships online.  This position has amazing potential as the programme has already received many accolades without a dedicated coordinator therefore this pilot programme will now enable us to successfully expand to police forces across the UK to better reach teenagers in a school setting.  The Programme Coordinator will attend the Volunteer Police Cadet meetings on Tuesday-Thursday evenings to recruit and train the Breck Ambassadors, and after training, the successful candidate will observe and critique the BAs as they present in their schools during the daytime across Surrey.  There are bi-yearly weekend training and celebration sessions held on Saturday mornings.  Team Breck are currently based in our office in Surrey as well as working from home, and this position would require a combination of working locations.  This position is a great opportunity for a motivated self-starter with vast room for growth and opportunity.
