We’re looking for a Principal Gifts Manager, who will be responsible for developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with those whose generous contributions make a transformational impact on the work we do.
What does this role do?
As Principal Gifts Manager, you will:
- Build and manage relationships with ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families to secure six- and seven-figure multi-year gifts,
- Develop tailored cultivation, solicitation and stewardship strategies that deliver exceptional donor experiences and long-term engagement,
- Identify and progress new principal gift prospects, strengthening the pipeline and contributing to long-term income growth,
- Work closely with senior leaders, trustees, and internal teams to maximise high-value fundraising opportunities and develop compelling cases for support.
Interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for 12th June 2026, and will take place on Teams.

We’re looking for a Head of Supporter Development to oversee our supporter communications journey, collaborating with various teams to ensure our supporters receive the best care and attention.
What does this role do?
As Head of Supporter Development, you will:
- Lead and transform how we engage with supporters, embedding a cultural shift and supporting teams to deliver on strategic objectives,
- Implement the supporter engagement strategy, including producing annual plans and a programme for regularly monitoring and evaluation activity, continuously improving the approach to enhance outcomes,
- Ensure all fundraising activities and products are audience led, using audience insight to inform decision making and ensuring high standards are upheld,
- Develop and manage budgets for supporter engagement activity.
This role is a fixed term, family leave cover contract until March 2027. Interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for week commencing 1st June 2026, and will take place on Teams.

Role Description

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of Income and Engagement Strategies aimed to grow income sustainably and significantly increase awareness of the charity
- Grow income from individual giving, regular giving, fundraising events and legacy giving, whilst looking to develop further income streams such as major donors, trusts and foundations in future.
- Develop strong donor journey that's engaging, from recruitment and stewardship to longer term donor retention.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract opportunity working 30 hours per week over four days. This is worked on a 6 week rota pattern to include 1 weekend in 6 with a rostered day off either side of the working weekend.
The starting salary for this position is £27,300 pro rata per annum, with an additional market supplement of £2,200 pro rata per annum. This is complemented by;
- Pro rata equivalent of 36 days annual leave per year (inclusive of bank holidays) rising by 1 day each year to a maximum of 40 days pro rata per annum after five years

About the role

About the role
As our Social Media Manager, you’ll play a key role in raising Compassion in World Farming’s public profile and driving engagement with our UK campaigns. You’ll use social media to communicate our strategic objectives, inspire action, and support our mission to end factory farming by 2040.
As part of our UK Communications Team, this role blends strategy, creativity, and community engagement. You’ll work closely with campaigns, fundraising, supporter engagement, and HQ teams to deliver high‑quality, impactful social content.
As our Social Media Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
- Managing Compassion in World Farming’s UK social media channels, delivering engaging content and effective community management
- Inputting into and delivering the UK social media content, broadcast and engagement strategy
- Developing and overseeing creative social media content, including video, graphics, and live coverage from events
- Monitoring, analysing, and reporting on social media performance to inform continuous improvement
- Identifying trends, opportunities, and influencers to increase reach, relevance, and impact
- Supporting wider communications activity, including media content and campaign activations
About you
To succeed in this role, you’ll be an experienced and confident communicator with a strong understanding of social media. Skills and experience you’ll need to bring as our Social Media Manager:
- Previous professional experience of managing social media channels, with experience using social media management tools

- Strong knowledge of social media KPIs, analytics, and reporting

The Role

Hours - 37.5 hours average per week on a 6-week rolling rota, working 8 am - 5 pm including weekends and bank holidays.
Role Purpose:
- To support the Centre Manager to promote the mission, vision and values of the organisation, working with the organisations Core Principles. Ensuring quality standards, so that all dogs are cared for as outlined in our Dog Welfare policies. In addition, support the Centre staff and volunteers to maximise their skills for the benefit of the dogs in our care.
- To identify problem behaviours, whilst also assessing risk and welfare in relation to dogs and lead the work with these dogs to change their behaviour, with an aim to secure them the best chance of a successful transition to a home.
- Taking the lead in setting training and behaviour plans, working with the management team to ensure they are delivered.
- To support dogs, where it is necessary to receive veterinary support when related to behaviour.
- To take responsibility for those dogs in Special Measures or referral who require significant support and behaviour modification and in addition, when necessary and appropriate, make welfare and risk led recommendations.
- To support dogs in our communities, to strive to reduce relinquishment.
- To support all staff and volunteers to further develop skills in dog behaviour and training. Sharing knowledge and supporting prospective adopters or members of the public.
- Work as part of the Centre Trainer peer group, supporting all Jerry Green Centres, to share best practice and knowledge and where required attend other centres to support peers. In addition, support project work where required.

Key Outputs & Tasks:
· Work with the Management Team to support and advise on the suitability of dogs for behaviour modification, develop and deliver Jerry Green Dog Rescue behaviour plans.
· If required, care for all dogs at the centre in an appropriate and welfare friendly manner, to include preparation of kennels, grooming, feeding, exercise and administration of medication as required.
· Ensure the highest standards of customer care are delivered to all centre visitors and contacts by presenting a professional and friendly approach.
· Provide centre staff and volunteers with on-going training in areas such as dog behaviour, training and welfare.
· Help develop Dog Welfare Assistant knowledge to promote dogs through Meet&Match®.
· Support fosterers and adopters before and after adoption.
· Facilitate good teamwork, contribute to training programmes and connect with other organisations.
· Engage in talks, website and newsletter articles; promote work on social media.
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date dog management database records.
· Support fundraising, publicity and education events.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Degree qualified or extensive experience in rescue with significant, relevant CPD.
- Qualified to National Diploma, NVQ2 or equivalent in animal care/welfare.
- Experience working with dogs to modify or change behaviour.
- Ability to actively contribute to welfare policy, standards and procedures.
- Strong administrative skills and accurate record keeping.
- Customer care experience including Meet & Match®.
- Excellent communication skills and IT competency.

We are looking for a Head of Income Generation & Engagement to lead the creation and delivery of a new, integrated Income Generation and Engagement Strategy, with scope to innovate across individual and major giving, retail, digital engagement and emerging approaches.
The Charity

The Role
Working with the Chief Executive and others, to design, recruit and develop a multi-disciplinary team covering income generation, marketing, communications and engagement.
Review income generation, marketing and communications trends, approaches and evaluation frameworks. Conduct further research and evaluation as required and set against sector comparators.
Conduct initial, then regular, analysis of the charitys audiences, both existing and potential, with a view to maximising opportunities for engagement, influence, giving, volunteering and homing.
Create an integrated brand, marketing and income generation strategy, with clear delivery plans and evaluation frameworks.
Review and lead development of the individual giving programme, both traditional and digital, including membership and friends schemes.
The Candidate
