We’re looking for a Strategic Communications Manager to develop and deliver impactful marketing communications strategies and campaigns, with a particular focus on our public affairs activity.

What does this role do?

As Strategic Communications Manager, you’ll:

• build strategic plans for key projects, scoping, and planning for communications across the marketing mix (paid, owned and earned channels), focusing on public affairs projects, as we strive to influence governments and engage the general public to improve animal welfare,
• shape key messages for campaigns, often distilling complex information into clear narratives, using evidence-based messaging frameworks,
• brief content delivery teams and channel leads on activity, closely monitoring to ensure assets and output are on time and to spec,
• embed evaluation frameworks from the very beginning of every campaign, ensuring success can be measured effectively.

Interviews for this role are provisionally scheduled for week commencing 27th July 2026 and will take place on Teams.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have experience of leading strategic marketing and communications projects, utilising excellent project management and communication skills to deliver and shape compelling stories and campaigns. We’re particularly interested in hearing from candidates who’ve worked in the public affairs space previously, with the ability to engage both mass audiences and political audiences with our campaigns and public affairs messages. You’ll have excellent stakeholder management experience, as well as strong evaluation skills, with experience of using clear evaluation methodologies. About the role

As our first CEO, you will work in close partnership with the Board translating long-term vision into clear priorities, measurable outcomes and practical delivery plans.

You will use evidence, financial understanding and operational knowledge to help determine what is achievable and where investment will make the greatest difference and when priorities need to change.

This is not a role that will operate at a distance from the organisation and you will need a willingness to become involved in delivery.

We are looking for an ambitious, values-led and commercially astute leader who can combine vision with practical delivery.

You might already be an established Chief Executive, or you may be an experienced senior leader ready to take on your first CEO appointment. Previous experience within animal welfare is welcome but is not essential.

We're looking for a Strategic Operations Manager to lead RSPCA Warrington, Halton and St Helens, taking full day-to-day responsibility for the branch and reporting directly to our board of trustees.

Main Responsibilities:

The Individual Giving Manager will lead the development and delivery of the BHWT’s individual giving and supporter development programme, helping to grow sustainable income and build long-term relationships with supporters.

The role combines strategic planning with hands-on fundraising delivery across regular giving, lottery, appeals, legacy giving, in memory fundraising and major donor relations. Working closely with colleagues across the charity, the postholder will enhance supporter journeys, improve donor stewardship, increase recruitment and retention, and identify new opportunities to maximise long-term sustainable income.

• Support the development and delivery of the charity's individual giving and supporter development strategy and annual plans.
• Lead and grow regular giving, lottery, appeals, legacy, in memory and major donor income streams. 
• Create and deliver integrated fundraising campaigns across digital, email, social media, direct mail and other channels. 
• Develop and continually improve supporter journeys to increase acquisition, retention, engagement and lifetime value.

About You

Global Senior Prospect Research Manager 

Role type: Full time; Permanent

Salary: £47,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending upon skills and experience)    

About the role  

As our Global Senior Prospect Research Manager, you’ll play a key role in helping Compassion in World Farming to end factory farming by strengthening our global prospect research function. 

This is an established and important role within our Global Philanthropy Team, central to building and sustaining a strong, high-quality prospect pipeline to support our fundraising growth ambitions. As part of this role, you’ll help shape and deliver prospect strategy, insight and KPIs aligned to our fundraising priorities and long-term organisational growth plans.

We’re recruiting a Volunteer Coordinator for our Rehoming & Fostering Team in Hertfordshire! 

As Volunteer Coordinator, you’ll recruit, support, and inspire volunteers to enhance rehoming and fostering services, while promoting Blue Cross in the community and driving local volunteering initiatives. You’ll be joining a team who strive to be the best versions of themselves, so that they can do the best for the pets who need our help. 

More about the role

Our Volunteer Coordinators recruit and support our amazing volunteers in the local area, promote the benefits of volunteering and raise the awareness of our centre and Blue Cross.   

Our fostering service is an integral part of the rehoming process, supporting the delivery of our strategy by increasing the service so that Blue Cross can help more pets. 

As a Volunteer Coordinator you will be responsible for recruiting and supporting a diverse team of volunteers. Working closely with the Centre Manager and Assistant Managers, you will ensure that our volunteers are fully integrated into the team, ensuring that the team welcome and collaborate with these wonderful people.   

In addition to this, you will be building relationships with local communities and partners, promoting the benefits of volunteering to provide more targeted support. 

This role is part time over a 2 week rota:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supporting New Business Development

• Assist in researching and identifying prospective regional, national and international corporate partners aligned with the organisation’s mission and values
• Support the development of tailored proposals, pitches and presentations for potential corporate supporters
• Help prepare outreach materials, including emails, decks, and briefing documents
• Maintain and update prospect pipelines and CRM records
• Attend meetings and events with prospective partners, taking notes and following up on actions

Managing Existing Corporate Partnerships

• Develop close working relationships with Communications team and work closely with them on creating and scheduling of agreed corporate content in line with communications schedules.
• Coordinate and deliver partnership communications, including newsletters, updates, impact reports, and social media content
• Lead on gathering content to form the basis of partnership communication obligations
• Work with internal teams to ensure consistent and high-quality messaging including drafting copy in line with brand messaging, obtaining appropriate images, developing related materials and ensuring approval processes are followed.
• Support the planning and execution of partner engagement activities, campaigns, and events
• Ensure partners receive appropriate recognition and visibility in line with agreements

Sponsorship & Agreement Management

• Assist in drafting and managing sponsorship agreements and partnership contracts
• Track and fulfil contractual benefits (e.g. branding, hospitality, social media, volunteering, speaking opportunities)
• Maintain accurate records of deliverables and ensure all obligations are met
• Support the review and renewal of agreements

Administration & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records within the CRM system
• Track income, pledges, and invoices
