Administration

You will support the whole organisation with a range of administrative tasks which will include:

· Completing minutes for key meetings.

· Processing of Expenses on behalf of the Senior Leadership Team.

· Arranging room bookings both internally and externally.

· Support with co-ordinating organisation wide meetings i.e., monthly staff meetings, away days, including booking venues and arranging catering.

· Supporting with governance committee cycles, preparing documents and reports as required.

· Support with the administration of our grants programme, including preparing and issues letter to grant applicants as instructed, updating and maintaining grant budget spreadsheets.

· Inputting data into relevant systems accurately and in a timely manner

· Dealing with enquiries from patients, donors, supporters, service providers and volunteers as required in a timely and effective manner.

· Provide general administrative support to the wider team as required.

· Taking donations in any of the Weston Park Cancer Charity locations

You will work on time limited ad hoc projects, which could include:

· Creating and implementing new processes, including building templates / documentation / matrixes.

· The build-up to / during and/ or after a campaign / or event.

Cover Support

You will provide cover on the front of desks of both our sites: Cancer Support Centre, Northumberland Road and our Charity Hub, Whitham Road which will include:

· Meeting and greeting visitors including supporters and patients and acting as their first point of contact for any queries.

· Dealing with telephone, email and postal enquiries across the organisation

· During cover period, you may be required to open and close the patient spaces, as part of a wider team rota.

· Booking in and logging patients onto the relevant records and databases to provide accurate data.

· Sending appointment reminder calls/texts/letters to clients as required

· Co-ordinating the Transport service, including supporting and co-ordinating the volunteer drivers.

· Managing the consumables within this patient space and ordering replacement stock as and when required.

The End Violence Against Women Coalition (EVAW) is looking for a Public Affairs Officer to help drive forward our campaigning to end violence against women in all its forms.

The last few years have seen a huge increase in awareness of violence against women and girls, and support for our work. ABOUT THE ROLE

EVAW’s public affairs officer will help persuade policy makers and stakeholders to prioritise tackling violence against women and girls (VAWG) and develop policy and practice that is effective, inclusive and rooted in equalities and human rights.

Typical tasks for this job might include reviewing and synthesising political speeches and debates, drafting briefings for MPs and other stakeholders and supporting with the organisation of stakeholder events such as parliamentary and party conference meetings.  

Candidates are likely to have some experience in public affairs or policy work on VAWG or a related field connected to social justice, human rights and equalities.  and will be seeking an opportunity to work in a highly impactful, agile and dynamic feminist organisation.

A background in VAWG will of course be an asset, but regardless you’ll need to show us you can keep abreast of key political developments, identify challenges and opportunities to pursue an organisation’s aims, and work to influence key decision-makers in a given field. About the role

The Senior Event Manager is a pivotal new position within the Advancement team. You will play a leading role in planning, executing, and overseeing events and experiences which will not only build momentum towards and launch UCL's next fundraising campaign in 2026, but will also maintain stakeholder engagement with the campaign during its duration.

Globally, you will build and deliver a programme of insider and teaser experiences, launch events, tours, reunions, and gatherings around campaign themes. About the Role:
As our Senior Advocacy Advisor on International Financial Institutions you will increase and strengthen our advocacy and capacity to influence global development finance institutions, particularly the World Bank but also be informed on major developments in other IFIs, e.g. recent Paris Summit and Global Financing Pact. We want to ensure our engagement is systematic, impactful and builds up an increased evidence base for influence on the institution.

In this role, you will will employ a range of strategies to advocate for changes in the policies, standards and practices of the World Bank particularly as it relates to water sanitation and hygiene particularly in the context of the twin climate change and global health crises. This position will include a focus on the World Bank Group's Water Global Practice and the Global Water Security and Sanitation Partnership, as well as also support WaterAid Country Programme teams and partners to influence the World Bank's operations at the country level. 

You'll also: 

• Develop and implement advocacy strategies designed to influence the policies of the World Bank and other relevant IFIs on water sanitation & hygiene in line with WaterAid's globally agreed policy and campaign priorities, and in coordination with allies.
• Build a network of contacts and relationships, including relevant IFI/ World Bank staff and Executive Directors, gather information, and advocate with the Board and staff of the World Bank on particular country operations and key policy areas
• Build technical knowledge and understanding of the Bank's policies and practices in relation to the WASH sector, including the activities of the International Development Association (IDA) and how these relate to countries in which WaterAid has CPs

The Communications Officer is a key supporting role within the Communications team. The post holder will research, write, and publish content across various channels, liaising with teams across the organisation to help identify content. They will report to the Communications Manager and contribute to the work of the wider communications team, helping to deliver marketing campaigns and the communications strategy. The post holder will have a data driven approach and be comfortable reporting on analytics, whether that’s in relation to PR, social media or on specific campaigns. Excellent verbal and written communications are essential to this role as is the ability to work across all teams within the organisation.

The salary is in line with the BITC job framework - minimum of £22,770 per annum regional and £25,875 per annum London office based. 

The location is flexible - across the UK - homebased or based out of a BITC office with a hybrid approach.

The responsibilities include: 

• Undertaking project management, including coordinating the team
• Tracking, monitoring and evaluating engagement with our inclusion campaigns via internal systems including Salesforce and Power BI
• Supporting the team with primary research, literature reviews of secondary sources and analysis of numerical data
• Developing content such as toolkits, factsheets, blogs, slide decks, case studies and other knowledge-based content to support businesses to engage with and implement campaign asks
• Managing internal and external stakeholder relationships
• Managing the Employment and Skills Twitter channels, posting content and driving engagement
• Using your own initiative to anticipate and vary the effort needed to meet internal and external deadlines
• Supporting on all aspects of delivering events, including occasional presenting

The Head of Scotland and Northern Ireland is responsible for leading our vision to end the need for food banks in Scotland and Northern Ireland. Scotland currently leads the way in having a rights-based, progressive agenda to ending the need for food banks, but there is much to do to ensure political intentions become a reality. This role directs Trussell Trust’s policy and public affairs work in Scotland and Northern Ireland, leads our Scotland and Northern Ireland department as they support our network of food banks and works strategically with key partners to tackle the underlying reasons why people need to come to food banks.  

Based in Scotland or Northern Ireland, with travel around the UK as necessary

Role responsibilities 

• Lead the delivery of the Trussell Trust strategy for ending the need for food banks in Scotland and Northern Ireland, working to embed the Changing Communities, Changing Minds and Changing Policy programmes across the network, including through providing strategic support for the effective delivery of the Pathfinder, FI and organising programmes in Scotland and Northern Ireland. 

• Work with key partners to direct Trussell Trust’s policy and public affairs and work with the Scottish government and local authorities across Scotland. 

• Facilitate the sharing of learning from Scotland to help shape our long-term policy and public affairs work in Northern Ireland. 

• Lead the Scotland and Northern Ireland department to ensure the safe and effective operations of the food bank network. 

• Work with our Head of Strategic Church Engagement to deliver a church engagement strategy that will mobilise the church in Scotland and Northern Ireland to work to end the need for food banks. 

• Work with the Policy, Research and Impact, and Network Programmes and Innovation directorates to ensure effective cross-departmental working on policy and research opportunities, strategic priorities, church engagement, external partnerships and impact reporting. 

Person Specification 

Technical skills and minimum knowledge: 

• Senior level experience of leading delivery programmes nationally and locally. 

• Senior level experience of directing policy and public affairs programme nationally and locally, and representing the Trussell Trust to senior government representatives, national stakeholders and the media. 

• Expertise of significantly growing and managing services, project and programmes to drive change; leading, motivating and inspiring teams; leading culture change; able to manage multiple projects, identifying conflicting demands and establishing clear priorities in order to meet agreed objectives. 

• An effective communicator, verbally and in writing. Diplomatic and with the interpersonal skills required by the role. 

• Ensure that due regard is given to Equity, Diversity and Inclusion within all objectives that report into this department.

Responsible for corporate hospitality, the Administrator will provide excellent in-person customer care for visitors to the organisation’s central London Hub and act a first point of contact via the organisation’s in-bound telephone hunt groups.

Working in support of the Office & Facilities Manager, you will ensure the implementation of the organisation’s health and safety procedures on daily basis and contribute more generally to the management and maintenance tasks of the Hub and the broader Crane Grove estate.

Dynamic and able to contribute either independently or as part of a team, you will work with a hands-on approach to establish and help maintain the systems needed to propel the organisation forward.

You will also assist the Engagement & Communications department with ongoing outreach projects, by contributing to periodic fundraising fulfilment tasks related to appeals mailings, and by supporting outward-bound telephone campaign tasks.
