East London Waterworks Park is a volunteer-led charity that has won a 2024 New London Architecture award and raised £2m towards buying land from the Department for Education to transform the 14-acre Thames Water Depot on Lea Bridge Road on the border of Waltham Forest and Hackney, into a new biodiverse park with natural swimming ponds, forest schools and community spaces.
We are looking for volunteer managers to contribute to our community-led working group who are developing and managing meaningful and sustainable volunteer experiences within East London Waterworks Park.
There is opportunity to lead on projects in communications and governance, and facilitate the direction of the working group.
The Comms Circle currently meets fortnightly on a Tuesday evening on Google Meet and spends voluntary time outside of the meeting completing agreed tasks remotely.
You should be experienced in developing and managing meaningful and sustainable volunteer experiences with a range of different roles. Strong organisational and interpersonal skills are essential. We also value your ability to think strategically and build relationships within the community. Charity Trustee required for a *New start up* Mental Health Charitable Organisation in Devon & Cornwall.
Looking for a kind soul with working or peer experience within the mental health field, who may be interested to learn more about becoming a Charity Trustee.
This relates to a new Charitable Organisation, which is being set up to support people struggling with their mental health, to the degree that it negatively impacts their home and physical surroundings, by providing services and grants to improve their living conditions, and as a result, their quality of life.
Based in Tavistock, and covering Devon & Cornwall it is important that you live within this region and have access to a laptop and phone.
You will be provided with a charity email address where the charity manager will report to you on a monthly basis regarding charity activities, and financial reporting.
Charity board meetings will take place remotley every 1-3 months. Important decisions will be made by voting, only by trustees, at board meetings.
You may be invited to in person meetings occasionally, this will be within the Devon & Cornwall region and reasonable expenses will be covered for costs incurred.
You will be one of a total of three trustees as is the requirement for Charities in the UK.

The Counselling Partnership Charity is looking for an experienced finance professional to help us through a period of change and growth.
The Treasurer is a crucial member of our voluntary Board of Trustees, and is key to securing the financial health and viability of the charity now and into the future.

- Maintain an annual budgeting process;

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are recruiting a new Fundraising Manager in order to grow the charity's income and impact, enabling us to reach more communities and transform more lives. The role of the Fundraising Manager:

Ethiopiaid is a small international fundraising charity based in Bath, UK. It is one of four Ethiopiaid’s that shares a global strategy, vision, and mission. The other Ethiopiaid’s are in Ireland, Canada, and Australia. Each is a registered non-profit and operates with separate trustee boards.
We are a fundraising organisation connecting like-minded donors with the work that we support. Funds are raised through direct and online appeals, applications to grant makers, from major donors and through legacies. In 2024 over £2.4 million was raised to support work in Ethiopia focusing on maternal health, harmful traditional practices, education, opportunities for women and girls, people living with disabilities and support for the vulnerable. We also support our partners with emergency relief and recovery.
We are seeking a new Finance Lead Trustee to provide scrutiny and oversight of the work of Ethiopiaid, and support the CEO and Senior Finance Manager in achieving the charity’s financial targets, as well as providing Board oversight of the annual audited accounts process.
As our Finance Lead Trustee, you will:
· Review our accounts
· Ensure relevant financial policies are in place as required by the charity commission
· Have an excellent ability to interpret financial information and the confidence to raise questions and challenge
· Have oversight of the charity’s expenditure and return on investment
· Have the ability to think creatively and strategically, exercising good and impartial judgement
· Liaise with senior staff to ensure financial reports are user friendly for non-finance trustees
· Provide support for the Chair of trustees and the whole board
· Be willing to be available to support the charity’s CEO and Senior Finance Manager as needed
· Have a good understanding of, or be willing to learn, the rules and regulation around charity finance
Specific knowledge and experience sought:
· CCAB/CIMA qualified professional
· An interest in international development and the issues we are supporting our partners to tackle in Ethiopia
This role is voluntary and reasonable travel costs are reimbursed. The term of appointment is initially three years. This may be extended by mutual agreement.

Overview
This is a Senior Leadership team role.
The Base Camp Manager has responsibility for many of the logistical aspects of the expedition,
including equipment, food, and managing the environmental impact at base camp. You will need to be ready to turn your hand to a range of tasks, acting as the ‘fixer’ for the expedition and supporting the expedition team with all aspects of expedition life.
We are looking for applicants who are:
- Comfortable spending extended periods in remote and sometimes harsh environments.
- Able to commit to all pre-expedition training events.
As a charity, all Leader positions are undertaken on a voluntary basis and Leaders join for the intrinsic value of adventure, education, and personal development of young people. You do not have to fundraise to lead on our expeditions.

Role Description
Role: Website Management Volunteer (Volunteer, unpaid)

About White Ribbon Alliance UK: We prioritise the eradication of gender-based violence and the promotion of gender equity in sexual and reproductive health and rights, especially for marginalised and underrepresented communities. We enable access to unbiased and evidenced-based resources, education, and support for women, girls, and trans individuals. We influence healthcare professionals, hospital systems, policy makers, and the public to centre the human rights of women, girls and trans men, intersex, and non-binary people throughout the lifecycle of their sexual health needs.
Purpose of the Role: The Volunteer Website Manager will support White Ribbon Alliance UK's efforts to improve maternal and reproductive health by helping us on a two month project working to polish up our websites to keep them relevant, up to date and engaging for members of the public.
Our aspirations for activities the volunteer would perform:

Review our websites and provide constructive feedback and pragmatic recommendations for improvement.

Update and maintain our website, ensuring it’s visually appealing and aligns with our brand.
- Ensure that content on our websites meets with internal and external policies and guidelines.

Work with our team to understand website needs and integrate feedback for improvements.

Utilise SharePoint and Microsoft Teams for collaboration and document management.

Handle ad hoc work required by the charity such as social media, copy writing, administrative tasks, etc.
NOTE: We are looking for volunteers who can reliably contribute 5 or more hours per week for an 8-10 week period to the charity.
Necessary skills and qualifications:
- Proven expertise in creating and maintaining websites.

Interest in sexual and reproductive health (SRHR).

Strong understanding of, and passion for, intersectional feminism.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with website building tools such as GoDaddy, Squarespace, and Wix.

Proficiency in Canva, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, or similar platforms.
