About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in delivering a fundraising strategy focused on trusts and foundations, corporate partnerships and community engagement.
Working within a small, collaborative team, you will take ownership of funding applications and relationships, helping to grow income and shape the future of the organisation’s development function.
Key responsibilities include:

The Prospect Development Officer plays an integral role in enabling the fundraising ambitions of King’s College London, King’s Health Partners and King’s Maudsley Partnership. JOB PURPOSE
UK for UNHCR is looking for an ambitious and proactive fundraiser to work in a Senior Philanthropy Officer role for up to one year’s maternity cover. Role Purpose

About HorseWorld (the real version)
Horses are incredible animals. They’ve carried humans into war; it’s no wonder they can read exactly what a child needs, often before the child knows it themselves.
Sadly, some people still abuse and neglect them. That’s where the HorseWorld hug comes in. With us, horses are safe. They live out all year round, form herds, roll in the mud, escape occasionally (because… horses), and get to live like horses again.
Our 160-acre farm is minutes from Bristol and Bath, but feels like a different world. In winter, photoshoots and tours involve waterproofs and wellies. In summer, it’s an outdoor oasis.

We raise around £1.5m a year against operating costs of around £2.5m.

The role (what you’ll actually do)
As Head of Fundraising & Communications, you will:

You’ll also work closely with our Heads of Equine Welfare and Discovery to fundraise for our work with vulnerable horses & children.

About the role
As Trust and Grants Manager, you’ll be responsible for developing and delivering our Trust Fundraising Strategy, ensuring strong performance, excellent funder stewardship and long‑term growth. You’ll manage high‑value relationships, lead strategy and planning, and provide inspiring line management to Trust fundraising colleagues.
Working closely with colleagues across Income Generation, Business Development and operational teams, you’ll ensure Samaritans’ work is communicated compellingly to Trust and Statutory funders, grounded in evidence, insight and lived experience.

You’ll be a real digital native, with experience delivering engaging campaigns across paid media, organic social media and email. Day to you’ll manage, moderate and optimise our digital channels and email communications – all integral shop windows for our brand.
You’ll deliver accessible and inclusive content viewed millions of times by over 210,000 followers. Planning and delivering targeted social and paid media strategies is a key part of this role.
