You’ll be responsible for managing your own pool of community fundraisers, providing excellent supporter care and helping them make the most of their fundraising. You’ll be the first point of contact for supporters and enquirers, responding across a range of channels and building strong relationships that encourage long-term engagement.

You’ll also work closely with colleagues across the Community & Events Team and the wider organisation, providing effective fundraising and administrative support. You’ll help maintain and improve the systems, processes and supporter journeys that enable us to deliver an excellent experience and maximise income.

About you

Job Role:

About the role

This is a varied and rewarding role supporting the delivery of Lily's community fundraising and individual giving programme. You'll be the main point of contact for many of our amazing supporters, helping individuals, families and community groups make the most of their fundraising. You'll also play a key role in developing Lily's Teams initiative, which brings together families and friends fundraising in honour or memory of someone affected by mitochondrial disease.

Alongside community fundraising, you'll support the delivery of Lily's emerging Individual Giving, Regular Giving and Legacy fundraising activity, helping to develop and deliver supporter journeys, campaigns and communications that encourage long-term engagement.

Working closely with the Senior Public Fundraising Manager and colleagues across fundraising and marketing, you'll play an important part in helping more people discover, support and stay connected with The Lily Foundation. Key responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of Lily's community fundraising programme, supporting individuals, families and community groups to organise their own fundraising activities.

· Develop and grow Lily's Teams initiative, supporting families and friends fundraising in honour or memory of someone affected by mitochondrial disease with sensitivity, empathy and excellent supporter care.

· Build strong relationships with community fundraisers, providing practical advice, encouragement and fundraising resources to help maximise income and supporter satisfaction.

· Support the planning and delivery of Lily's community fundraising campaigns, appeals and fundraising products, working closely with colleagues across fundraising and marketing.

· Help develop and deliver supporter journeys for community fundraisers, regular givers and other supporters, encouraging long-term engagement and repeat support.

· Support the development of Lily's Individual Giving, Regular Giving and Legacy fundraising activity through campaign delivery, stewardship and donor communications.

· Identify opportunities to grow community fundraising & individual giving income by encouraging repeat fundraising, in-memory giving, Regular Giving and other longer-term ways of supporting Lily.

· Maintain accurate records on the CRM system (Donorfy), ensuring supporter information is up to date and using data to monitor activity and improve performance.

· Prepare regular reports and updates for the Senior Public Fundraising Manager, identifying trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.

· Work collaboratively with colleagues across fundraising, marketing and operations to deliver joined-up campaigns, communications and supporter experiences.

· Represent The Lily Foundation professionally and enthusiastically, acting as an ambassador for the charity and building positive relationships with supporters and partners.

Greyhound Rescue Wales (GRW) is Wales’ leading charity dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and rehoming greyhounds and lurchers. Founded in 1993, we have spent more than three decades championing the welfare of sighthounds and working towards our vision: a Wales without greyhound racing, where every greyhound and lurcher has a home and receives the best possible care.

In April 2026, after 25 years of determined campaigning to improve welfare and regulation within the racing industry, legislation to ban greyhound racing in Wales was finally passed. This landmark achievement marks the beginning of a new chapter for GRW as we expand our reach and capacity across the UK to ensure every greyhound leaving the racing industry has a rescue space, medical support and rehabilitation on the journey towards their forever home.

To help us grow sustainably and strengthen our long‑term impact, we are now seeking to develop our fundraising team with the creation of a Trusts and Foundations Officer. This role will play a key part in increasing and diversifying our income, enabling us to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome even more dogs during this pivotal moment in our charity’s history.

Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Community and Events Fundraiser to develop their experience, to work within the community to increase and diversify our income stream and strengthen our charity’s profile.

The Community and Events Fundraiser is responsible for planning and delivering a varied range and scale of fundraising and events in the community.

You will proactively manage projects and build strong relationships with individuals, businesses and community groups, while also supporting and developing volunteers and their involvement.

As part of our Income Generation Team, you will work closely with the Head of Fundraising, Sponsorship & Legacies Officer and Trusts and Foundations Officer to help deliver an annual income target of £400k+.

Alongside maximising opportunities with our existing supporters, you will play a key role in developing and nurturing new ideas, partnerships and activities. Your work will help to grow this vital income stream and ensure we continue to engage with the communities and organisations that champion Greyhound Rescue Wales.

About RASASC: RASASC Guildford Limited is a registered charity supporting people of all genders, from the age of 13, from across Surrey, who have experienced the trauma of sexual harm, whether recently or in the past.

We are the largest specialist rape and sexual abuse support organisation in the county and provide a range of free, confidential, specialist services so that survivors can move forward with their lives, untethered by the impact of abuse.

Purpose of the Role: This is an exciting opportunity to join RASASC at a key stage in the development of our fundraising programme. We are now looking for a passionate, organised and enthusiastic Community Fundraiser to help build on this success. You'll oversee our community fundraising and challenge events programme, building strong relationships with supporters, local partners and community groups to raise vital funds for RASASC.

Working closely with the Fundraising Manager, you will build relationships with supporters, local businesses, community groups and donors, helping to increase unrestricted income and raise awareness of RASASC's work. The role will also support the development of individual giving, including our client donation programme, helping to create sustainable unrestricted income for the charity.

This role would suit someone with fundraising, events, communications or community engagement experience who is looking to move into the next stage of their fundraising career within a supportive team environment. Key Responsibilities:

Community Fundraising, Events & Challenges 

• Support and grow community fundraising income across Surrey and surrounding areas
• Recruit, steward and motivate individuals taking part in fundraising challenges and activities for RASASC

Person Specification

Essential Experience & Skills

• At least 1-2 years’ experience in fundraising, events, communications, marketing, customer engagement or a similar people focused role
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with supporters, volunteers, businesses and community groups
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously and prioritise effectively
• Ability to motivate and engage supporters, volunteers or customers
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
• Experience of using CRMs (databases) to collate data, create impact reports and input and manage donor information
•  Ability to work independently and use initiative
• Commitment to the aims and values of RASASC
