About the role

As Senior Stories Producer, you will be responsible for finding, developing and producing authentic, compelling stories that demonstrate our impact for children in the UK and around the world. Leading end-to-end content gathering projects, you will ensure stories are captured ethically, responsibly and in line with safeguarding and brand standards, helping to position Save the Children as a distinctive, modern children's cause.

This is a 10-month maternity cover offered as a fixed term contract or secondment opportunity.

In this role, you will:

• Lead content gathering shoots from planning to delivery — including forecasting, research, scouting and production — translating organisational objectives into clear story and content briefs.
• Manage and oversee the content pipeline and annual shoot calendar, making strategic decisions on priorities and responding to reactive or fast-turnaround needs.
• Travel within the UK and internationally to lead shoots, managing freelance photographers, videographers, translators and relationships with Country Office and partner teams.
• Ensure robust consent, safeguarding and duty of care processes for child and adult contributors, stewarding contributors appropriately and managing re-consent where required.
• Collaborate across Strategic Communications and Public, UK and Global Impact teams to align storytelling with brand, campaign and organisational priorities.
• Champion ethical and participatory storytelling practices, contributing to guidance, training and continuous improvement across the organisation.

About you

To be successful, it is important that you have:

• A strong track record of story research and demonstrable knowledge of what makes compelling, audience-focused content.
• Significant experience producing multimedia content, with strong interviewing skills and a good understanding of brand-aligned storytelling and narrative development.
• Proven experience working on a wide range of complex briefs from multiple stakeholders, balancing priorities effectively.
• Experience working alongside creative teams and/or film and photography producers, managing the delivery of high-quality content.
• Excellent writing, editing and proof-reading skills, with strong attention to detail, and experience transcribing and shaping interviews into powerful stories.
• A strong understanding of ethical storytelling, safeguarding and working sensitively with children and vulnerable communities.

Location & Ways of Working:

About You

• At least 5 years’ experience in digital marketing, communications or brand roles (charity sector experience desirable).

Breck Foundation

Breck Foundation is at the forefront of efforts to safeguard children and young people online. Our organisation was founded in 2014 in response to the tragic loss of Breck Bednar, a 14-year-old boy who was groomed and murdered by someone he met online. The Role

We are looking for an experienced Trusts and Grants Fundraiser to support the work of the Breck Foundation on a freelance basis.

This role is offered for approximately two days per week, providing flexibility alongside the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the development of our fundraising function.

If you are highly organised, detail-oriented, and confident managing competing deadlines - and motivated by making a real difference in keeping young people safe online - this could be an excellent opportunity.

Working closely with the CEO, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering our trusts and grants activity. The focus of the role will be on researching opportunities, developing a strong funding pipeline, and writing high-quality, compelling applications that clearly communicate our impact and vision.

Housing First Support Worker (28 hours per week)

Spitalfields Crypt Trust (SCT) is recruiting a Housing First Support Worker to join our specialist team supporting people who have experienced homelessness and other traumatic events.

In this role, you’ll hold a small caseload (around six residents) and provide tailored, person-centred, trauma-informed support that helps people sustain their tenancies, improve their wellbeing, and work towards recovery on their own terms. You’ll build trusting relationships over time, combining practical housing-related support (such as moving in, budgeting, appointments, maintaining a home and accessing community resources) with strong advocacy to ensure residents can access healthcare, benefits, housing services and specialist support.

You’ll work closely with SCT colleagues and a range of external partners across Tower Hamlets to remove barriers, reduce risk, and prevent eviction. The post includes completing needs and risk assessments, maintaining clear case records (including on In-Form or similar systems), and contributing to reporting and service learning. This is a values-led role for someone who is organised, resilient, and confident working independently with adults facing multiple disadvantage (including addiction, mental ill health, and long-term homelessness).

This is a part-time post (28 hours per week) with a salary up to £32,000 (up to £25,600 pro rata). Enhanced Adult Workforce DBS is required. Purpose of the Job 

The Head of Health, Safety & Compliance will lead the development and delivery of the functional strategy through a cascade of the overall business strategy by ensuring company compliance with relevant health, safety, environmental and Food Safety legislation. Development of necessary policies and procedures and leads the ownership of establishing a safe working environment for colleagues and local communities. Continuous improvement and execution of programmes to provide and achieve practise.

Duties and Responsibilities 

• Use established NEBOSH/ IOSH Plan-do-check-act principles to drive safety improvements and leadership 
• Environmental Health & Safety decisions in line with local guidance
• Liaises with external and internal key stakeholders and HSE experts and food supply leaders within partner organisations
• Ensure Safety Management Systems are up to date, relevant and manages risk appropriately, and in accordance with agreed standards
• Process ownership to ensure all significant and major SHE risks on site are quantified, managed and validated
• Monitor departmental KPI’s and challenge improvement when required to ensure targets are achieved and improved
• Develops and leads the safety, health and environment strategy and plans for the site to ensure best in class processes and policies and developing a culture of compliance and operational ownership that are regularly reviewed and updated
• Completes regular Health, Safety and Environmental audits, evaluating practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the law
• Prepares and schedules training to cover emergency procedures, workplace safety and other relevant topics
• Ensures inspections and servicing of plant, equipment and machinery is completed in compliance with relevant legislation
• Maintain records of discharge of or employee exposure to hazardous waste and/or pollutants, as required and monitor all other environmental risks to colleagues and the local community
• First Aid management including training, viewing and planning coverage, ordering and auditing of stock
• Provide functional leadership and oversight (quality check) for investigation of accidents and injuries. Coordination of incident files and the preparation of material for hearings and insurance investigations
• Ensure the operational process and production of finished goods are appropriately controlled via HACCP, to ensure compliance with food safety

Are you passionate about working 1-to-1 with young prison-leavers from a variety of backgrounds; many of whom are from marginalised communities, to help them lead more stable, rewarding lives?

As a Switchback Mentor, you will play a vital role in transforming the lives of young prison-leavers, helping them break free from the justice system and build stable, rewarding futures. You will be responsible for building your own caseload by engaging directly with young men in prison and providing intensive support after their release. In addition to working with those you meet in prison; you will also support Trainees referred to the programme after they have already been released.

Once on the programme, you will maintain regular contact with Trainees, meeting face-to-face at least once a week to help them navigate the challenges of being recently released from prison and work towards their goals. Most importantly, you will do this in a way that reflects Switchback’s core values: putting Trainees at the heart of everything we do, setting high expectations, and building authentic, supportive relationships that enable lasting change.

It is essential that Mentors can confidently and professionally engage with all Trainees who meet the eligibility criteria for the Switchback programme, providing them with the support and guidance needed to move forward positively.

We’re looking for a Programme Coordinator to support our structured strategic involvement support with public services, produce high‑quality case studies and learning outputs, and help us influence national conversations on co‑production. This role sits at the heart of our evolving programme, connecting local insights to the wider policy landscape and supporting better co-production and involvement practice across Wales.

You will help gather and communicate learning from our local work with Public Services Boards (PSBs) and other partners, contributing to a clear, national picture of how co‑production is working in practice.
