Job Title: Activities Coordinator

Location: Havering, Close to Harold Wood Elizabeth Line station. Step free access available at this service.

Salary: £30,400

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday between 09:00 - 17:00. You may need to be flexible on these hours as per service requirements.

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Activities Coordinator to join our new Independent Approved Premises commissioned by Criminal Justice Service (IAP) based in Havering. You will support residents recently released from prison in a residential setting, helping them reintegrate into the community. You will play a major part in reintegrating our residents back into the community by coordinating and delivering high quality activities and programmes which work to support individual needs, working in collaboration with the wider team. Some activities may vary but could include days out and visits, awareness days/weeks/months campaigns, cultural celebrations and other meaningful activities to encourage reintegration and enhance social skills and community engagement.  No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and meaningful work in a supportive team environment.

Some Key Responsibilities Include:

• Planning and coordinating individual and group activities and sessions
• Delivering programmes that support residents’ goals, personal development, and reintegration
• Developing and managing calendars of activities, events, and awareness campaigns to promote social skills, community engagement, and meaningful participation
• Collecting information about activities and resident feedback to see what works well and share this with the team to improve programmes and support resident wellbeing
• Running clinics, projects, and sessions, providing guidance, life skills support, and advice to residents as needed
• Building good relationships with partners and stakeholders, identifying new opportunities and creating an accessible partner resource catalogue
• Monitoring, evaluate, and report on activity effectiveness and outcomes, contributing to continuous improvement
• Supporting staffs wellbeing, collaborate with the wider team, and work flexibly to ensure smooth service delivery
• Identify risks, safeguarding residents and take appropriate action. Maintain accurate records, reports, and administrative tasks

About You

We are looking for someone who has a passion to support vulnerable people in making a change, supporting their rehabilitation and providing opportunities for them to make positive change to their lives, to reintegrate into society. You will have a general understanding of the criminal justice system, and/or have experience supporting people with multiple/complex needs. You will be able to plan and deliver a range of activities suited to individual needs and will be confident in understanding the needs of our residents to do this. We look for:

• Experience in coordinating and/or delivering activities and programmes with people from various backgrounds
• Ability to provide advice, support and guidance to a team and residents on various areas
• Ability to work creatively and encourage creativity in others
• Excellent interpersonal skills, both written and oral. Ability to form and build effective relationships and rapport with others
• Proactive in making decisions to deal with challenges and providing a solution focused approach and using your initiative
• Ability to use, learn and adapt to IT at an intermediate level, including Microsoft and other software programs
• Ability and willingness to show flexibility of working patterns, responding to the needs of the service and residents

About the role:

Street Outreach & Engagement – Identify and build relationships with rough sleepers and beggars across various locations and times, including those who are disengaged from services.
Assertive Outreach & Support – Work closely with entrenched rough sleepers, encouraging engagement with services and providing rapid assistance.
Substance Use & Healthcare Access – Connect individuals with drug and alcohol support, mental health services, and other healthcare provisions.
Case Management & Housing Support – Oversee service users’ treatment journeys, assist in hospital discharge planning, and collaborate with housing providers to secure appropriate accommodation.
Partnership & Multi-Agency Work – Act as the key link between CGL services, rough sleeping partners, hostels, shelters, the local council, and other support agencies to coordinate care and maximise opportunities for recovery.
Crisis & Emergency Response – Participate in monthly overnight street counts, unsociable-hour shifts, and emergency interventions during severe weather conditions.

Job Purpose:

An exciting opportunity has arisen as an Empowered Living Team (ELT) Coordinator at St Joseph’s. You will work as a key member of a committed and creative Therapies team, which offers innovative, holistic and person-aligned care and support to people with palliative and end-of-life care needs, and to their families and caregivers.

The post holder will provide coordination for, and service development of, the Empowered Living Service. This community-based service provides outstanding person-centred rehabilitative enablement for people living with a palliative diagnosis. Following a joint professional assessment, a detailed programme of patient-led goals is enabled and supported by a trained ELT volunteer in the patient’s own home. Volunteer recruitment, training, patient matching and regular support group/1-1 supervision is led by the ELT coordinator.

This home-based role will provide support to WS affected adults and their families to help improve the quality of their lives. Through liaising with professionals (including the WS expert clinical team at Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH), Birmingham), external or advocacy organisations, this role will help facilitate access to the services to which WS affected adults and their families are entitled. The adult support co-ordinator will help adults and their families to increase their confidence and independence in living with their condition. This role will also act as an important point of contact for WS affected adults, providing advice and support in confidence.

Skills and experience

Applicants should have several years’ experience in a similar position, working with people affected by sensory loss, long-term medical / genetic condition, or disability. Applicants should also have a strong desire to help improve the lives of adults living with a long-term condition or disability and be confident in talking with people with a range of abilities and diverse cultural backgrounds.

Applicants should have experience in working effectively as part of a remote team, be confident in working independently and in managing conflicting priorities.

Some limited UK travel will be required (particularly to meet WS affected adults during their WS clinic visit at QEH, Birmingham (6 clinics per year) and the annual WS conference. An enhanced DBS check will be required.

Events and Community Coordinator - Remote (UK based) – 0.8FTE

• Salary: £30,000 for 0.8 FTE (£37,500 FTE equivalent) + 5% pension + 25 days holiday

The Role

This is a role for someone who enjoys making things happen and bringing people together. 

As our Events and Community Coordinator, you will deliver a high-quality events programme while building strong, lasting relationships across a network of 400+ Fellows. You will play a central role in shaping how our community connects, contributes, and grows. 

You will also lead on our CRM system, helping us use data more effectively to strengthen engagement and support alumni philanthropy. 

Working in a small, collaborative team, you will have real scope to shape the role, particularly as we build towards our 40th anniversary in 2027. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Plan and deliver a programme of high-quality events, including our flagship events and events with partner organisations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Fellows, supporting an active alumni community.
• Coordinate engagement initiatives, including networks and special interest groups.
• Manage and develop the CRM system to support engagement and fundraising.
• Contribute to the smooth running of the organisation as part of a small team. 

About You 

You are organised, proactive, and people-focused, with a natural ability to build relationships and keep multiple priorities moving. 

You will bring experience in events delivery and community or stakeholder engagement, along with strong communication skills and attention to detail. Experience managing CRM systems is important and previous experience in higher education, charity, fellowship or scholarship management would be a bonus.

We are looking for a Community Projects Coordinator (Community Research Initiative) to coordinate and support the further development of our diverse programme of extra-curricular student activity including our Research Volunteering and Pro Bono Research programmes.

Product Marketing Coordinator

This role is critical in ensuring Dot Dot Dot’s property offer meets market demand, business needs, and our social mission.

You will manage key parts of the property product lifecycle - from defining value propositions and preparing properties for launch, through to marketing, viewings, and quality control. Working closely with Marketing and Services teams, you’ll help ensure our properties are well‑positioned, well‑presented, and successfully filled.

This is a varied, hands‑on role combining strategic thinking with operational delivery, and desk‑based work with regular visits to properties. You’ll be supported in role by our senior marketing coordinator and head of marketing and business development.

The fundamentals of the role

Marketing and sales enablement

• Develop property messaging, value propositions, and supporting materials.
• Ensure each property has strong visual assets, including photography, video, and written content.
• Create and maintain property information sheets for internal and external use.
• Coordinate property‑related communications, including Mailchimp viewing emails and location‑based social media content.
• Work with the Marketing team to deliver campaigns, promotions, and go‑to‑market activity.

Viewings organisation and coordination

• Plan, schedule, and continuously improve the property viewings process.
• Supervise and support a small team of property viewing assistants (PVAs), including training, quality oversight, and timesheet approval.
• Ensure PVAs have accurate, up‑to‑date product information, sales guidance, and customer engagement support.
• Occasionally attend viewings to assess quality and gather feedback.

Go-to-market planning and execution

• Visit properties to understand condition, local context, and customer appeal.
• Support property launch planning, including pricing, audience targeting, and marketing tactics.
• Coordinate with Marketing to implement campaigns that attract high‑quality guardians.
• Track and report on the performance of property launches and viewings.
• Work cross‑functionally to ensure alignment between product, marketing, and service standards.

Product vision and positioning

• Support the definition and development of clear, compelling property value propositions.
• Ensure property products align with business objectives, customer needs, and market trends.
• Work with Marketing and Services to connect operational quality with external positioning.

Market and customer insight

• Research market needs, pricing, locations, and competitor activity.
• Develop and refine guardian personas to support effective targeting and communication.
• Share insights across the business to inform marketing, sales, and product decisions.
• Handle applicant information responsibly, ensuring personal data is recorded, stored and shared in line with GDPR requirements and Dot Dot Dot’s data protection policies.

Product lifecycle management

• Liaise with Services during property setup to ensure standards and product features are embedded from the outset.
• Oversee the property journey from setup through launch and occupation.
• Ensure properties are ready for viewings and occupancy through clear coordination and communication.

We are looking for a Networks Development Coordinator to support the development of our networks to create inclusive, dynamic and engaging communities at UCL. We currently have nine networks at UCL and the purpose of this role is to empower, train and support our students to host events, run campaigns and raise awareness. You will help broker new partnerships with charities and other student groups, facilitating our students to build communities and get the most out of their time at UCL. You will also take a leading role in coordinating history months and awareness days, working with our student communities. 

This role will also work closely with UCL's Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Team to oversee support and development of elected student EDI Reps who drive equality initiatives across the institution.
